As part of the 5-year celebrations of our book club, I am planning 2 outings for us. This second one is a guided tour in english of the **“Abbey Library and the Cathedral" at the UNESCO Stiftsbezirk in St Gallen**. We need to get there 15 mins earlier, so we’ll take a train from Zurich HB at 09:32. I will book a restaurant for lunch afterwards (still to be decided, probably Pizza/Pasta). Con *Half Fare (Halbtax)* suele rondar los 39–54 CHF, y sin descuento a partir de 52–79 CHF según la antelación. Incluye todo el trayecto en tren y el PostBus hasta el lago. ***¡Ojo! Controlan mucho, así que hay que pagar el ticket en la máquina o por app para evitar multas.*** # **🗺️ Cronograma del Día** **🌅 Mañana: Llegada y Senderismo por el bosque** * **10:45 – 11:00:** Reunión del grupo en la zona de **Vorauen / Camping** y preparación de mochilas. * **11:00 – 13:00:** **Ruta de senderismo panorámica.** Caminata por el sendero que bordea el lago a través del bosque (el lado sur es peatonal, ideal para evitar los coches que van por la carretera del otro lado) . El camino regala unas vistas espectaculares del lago rodeado de montañas que recuerdan a un fiordo noruego . Se puede caminar aproximadamente 1 hora hasta llegar a las cascadas y luego emprender el regreso. **🥪 Mediodía: Picnic y relax junto al agua** * **13:00 – 14:15:** Pausa para comer. Se puede hacer un picnic o parrillada en las zonas habilitadas junto al lago (traer bocadillos/carne) o tomar algo rápido en el restaurante/quiosco del camping. **🚣 Tarde: Actividades acuáticas (Paddle Surf / Canoa) o Baño** * **14:15 – 16:15:** Tiempo libre para disfrutar del lago en verano:**Alquiler:** En la zona del lago se pueden alquilar tablas de **Stand Up Paddle (SUP)** o **canoas** para navegar .**Baño:** El agua en junio suele estar fresca pero muy apetecible si hace calor. * **16:15 – 16:45:** Recogida, helado de despedida y preparación para el regreso. **🔙 Regreso a casa** * **Para los de tren:** Autobús **PostBus 504** desde *Klöntal, Vorauen* a las **16:44** h hacia la estación de Glarus (llega 17:09 h).
