We are aiming to recreate the atmosphere of the Franglish language exchange sessions: you get 30 minutes with a language partner speaking the language you want to practice, then switch to another partner, all while enjoying a drink! Equal time for everyone, and everyone will get to practice! For example if you are a native English speaker and want to practice French, you will be paired with someone, speak English for 15 minutes, then switch to French for 15 minutes. After that, you will get a new partner, and start all over again. There is a 5€ fee for the event, which can be paid in cash or with Lydia at the event. Note that if anyone made you feel uncomfortable during the event, you can of course report it to us. Salut ! Nous souhaitons recréer l'atmosphère des rencontres Franglish : 30 minutes avec un.e partenaire qui parle la langue que vous voulez pratiquer, et ensuite vous passez à un.e autre partenaire, le tout en profitant d'un verre ! Hey Everyone! Let's meet at Belle's Bread Bakery and Cafe. There is lots of free parking and easy access to the cafe and many shops and restaurants as well. This is a great way to meet new and old friends while chatting about life and practicing English language speaking skills. All are welcome and encouraged to join us anytime between 11am and 1pm. Bienvenue! Columbus French Conversation group invites you to our Saturday morning French conversation club. Expect a casual and welcoming atmosphere in which to learn french! I will bring my laptop so we can look up new vocabulary as needed! The venue is a beautiful French restaurant so you can really get into the zone :)

If you enjoy knitting, crocheting, working with yarn, this is the group for you. Meet new friends, bring your projects, learn from others.
We normally meet a few times a month during the week from 6-8pm. We will occasionally meet on weekends during daytime hours.

While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome! Also, as we meet at the same time and place each week, many don’t RSVP on the app, so we will likely have more attendees than noted here. Note: if you are asked to pay and upgrade the Meetup app, this is not necessary. You can ignore this and still attend our meetings.
