# 📚 Poetry & Language Club, First Gathering **Read. Write. Speak. Feel language.** Welcome to the first session of the **Poetry & Language Club in Paris**. This is a relaxed space for people who love **poetry, literature and languages**. Together we explore words through reading, conversation and short writing exercises. No academic pressure, no performance, just curiosity and the pleasure of language. ### Theme: “Élévation” by Charles Baudelaire For our first gathering, we will explore the poem **“Élévation”** by Charles Baudelaire. A poem about rising above the noise of the world and reconnecting with a higher state of mind. J'organise un atelier de japonais, apprentissage et conversation, **le vendredi 3 avril 2026 à 18h30-20h chez iRASSHAi**, dans son espace café du côté de la Bourse des commerces (et pas du côté de la rue du Louvre). **Cet atelier aura lieu à partir de 3 participants (y compris moi).** Cet atelier sera pour les débutants avancés / intermédiaires, pour vous aider à pratiquer les bases apprises, tout en continuant à apprendre de nouvelles choses (grammaire, vocabulaire, expressions...). Si vous savez vous présenter et parler des choses que vous aimez, et de vos quotidiens etc en japonais, cet atelier sera pour vous. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Bienvenue! Columbus French Conversation group invites you to our Saturday morning French conversation club. Expect a casual and welcoming atmosphere in which to learn french! I will bring my laptop so we can look up new vocabulary as needed! The venue is a beautiful French restaurant so you can really get into the zone :)

If you enjoy knitting, crocheting, working with yarn, this is the group for you. Meet new friends, bring your projects, learn from others.
We normally meet a few times a month during the week from 6-8pm. We will occasionally meet on weekends during daytime hours.

While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome! Also, as we meet at the same time and place each week, many don’t RSVP on the app, so we will likely have more attendees than noted here. Note: if you are asked to pay and upgrade the Meetup app, this is not necessary. You can ignore this and still attend our meetings.
