Nous partons cette fois dans un futur proche, à la fois doux et troublant. Nous découvrirons ensemble : **Klara et le Soleil de Kazuo Ishiguro** : Un chef d'œuvre de la littérature contemporaine, c'est un récit fascinant sur une "Amie Artificielle" (IA) qui observe le monde humain avec une pureté bouleversante. Plus qu'une critique de la société, Klara et le Soleil est un livre touchant et intriguant, que l'on ne lâche pas. Un de mes grands coups de cœurs ! There are usually 2 sessions to choose from, **This 11 am - Open Session is open to players of all levels, though mainly intermediate players and below.** **If you are a complete beginner -** Talk to us first before signing up, and we can try to make accommodations and maybe have beginners-only court to begin with, with one of the organisers ready to explain all of the basics, such as serving, scoring, rules etc, as well as some pointers to help you progress. **Which Session To Choose** If you're unsure of your level, sign up for the 11am session to start, or ask us! Join us for a long pose workshop with a female model, led by figurative artist John Kelly. The session consists of 45 minutes of drawing or painting, followed by a 15-minute break, and then another 45 minutes with the same pose. John will be present throughout the entire session to offer individual guidance on the principles of drawing and painting from life. If you prefer a more self-directed approach, you are welcome to work independently at any time. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. It offers a supportive environment to develop your artistic style while exploring different aspects of academic drawing or painting, experimenting with new techniques, or refining compositional ideas. It's designed to guide your exploration of the human form through an anatomical lens while capturing the model's emotional presence.
