This is a beacon of light or radio messsage for any men who are hurting out there. This season can be confusing, painful, lonely, and sometimes outright horrible and you feel like no one understands you or wanting to help you. Sometimes, all you need is a listening ear and you’ve been looking for someone who at least, understand what you are going through and emphatize with you. If you're going through a divorce—or have recently been through one—I just want you to know: you’re NOT alone. I am going through the same thing. This group was created for exactly that reason as I realised I was isolated and it was a very painful and lonely season. I believe there is strength in showing up, sharing honestly, and just having a conversation with someone who is going through the same journey—even if we’re all at different stages of the journey. These classes focus on weapon practice. Many aikido techniques have their origin in weapons handling and thus are related with Japanese weapon arts like Kendo. Using a weapon as an extension of the hand, it generates higher impact speed and creates different danger and distance perception.
