The event is part of our WEEKLY MEETUP SERIES. ---- Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The organiser will reserve courts in advance - PLEASE ONLY REGISTER IF YOU REALLY PLAN ON COMING (OR CANCEL ASAP IF SOMETHING CAME UP). We are meeting at about 07:50 pm near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is also a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. The organiser will be at the club about 5 min. ahead of time and pay for everyone - please bring if possible exact change and pay the organiser after the event! The fee for this event is 6€. It is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! If you were not able to join us last time, come network, share stories, and meet some new people to crew or talent for your next project. We need to change venues occasionally due to other sceduled events, so be sure to check the location (If you get to the venue early, tell them you are with the "FILMMAKER'S GROUP" at 20:00- thanks) \*Meetup has more than doubled its fees for organizers planning events, to compensate for the added admin cost, we are putting out a tip jar at every event and asking for a 2-5€ donation per attendee. Welcome to our cozy **The Psychology and Personal Growth Circle** which is part of the Social Book Club! We will meet to discuss the book “**Thinking, Fast and Slow**" (499 pages) written by Daniel Kahneman. The idea is to connect with like minded readers that love to grow and get to know themselves better through reading and especially applying knowledge from books. We meet up once a month and talk about our progress applying knowledge from a certain book and our experience. The event will take place at the volunteer organisation **MUT**. It is an organisation to supports humans, animals and the environment especially in Vienna. MUT or the Social Book Club look forward to some donation to cover the cost of this event. If you would like to help, please bring some cash with you. Whether it‘s your blog, a report, your thesis, your next book, copy for your website, or just your daily journaling, it doesn’t matter. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in your area. When you show up, say hello to everyone, grab a drink, and get your writing tools ready. Once you’re all settled, take some time to chat with your fellow writers. Once everyone’s arrived, I will lead quick introductions and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session. Afterward, we’ll have time to chat and get to know each other. We often talk about our successes and challenges as writers. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries! These meetings will be a building block approach to learning photographic mastery over three disciplines: Mechanical Mastery (MM) - 13 weeks of the series Exposure Mastery (EM) - 26 weeks of the series Composition Mastery (CM) - A 52 week series All three series will run concurrently and will dovetail as follows: Q3/26 - MM (Iter 1), EM (Iter 1, Pt 1), CM (Iter 1, Pt1) Q4/26 - MM (Iter 2), EM (Iter 1, Pt 2), CM (Iter 1, Pt2) Q1/27 - MM (Iter 3), EM (Iter 2, Pt 1), CM (Iter 1, Pt3) Q2/27 - MM (Iter 4), EM (Iter 2, Pt 2), CM (Iter 1, Pt4) That's likely confusing, but essentially, MM offered 4 times in that period, EM offered 2 times, and CM offered 1 time. **TO BE CLEAR - THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THESE CLASSES.** This is an aggressive series, with presentations, homework, group shoots to be added in, likely at LEAST twice a month, image critiques, and an expectation that you are willing to put in the work to elevate your photography significantly. Open to all levels and all equipment levels. Don't let hesitation about your skillset and/or gear keep you from a one-time opportunity. The group will meet every Monday, with periodic exceptions, and we will try to keep as close as possible to the original plan. This is an in-person meeting. Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance. Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues. So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them? That is what this meeting will be all about. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something.
