Let’s Shed Some Pounds (and Some Stress): The Gentle Weight Loss Party
Let’s Shed Some Pounds (and Some Stress): The Gentle Weight Loss Party
Deutsche Version unten **Welcome to our very first gathering!** Let's kick off our journey together. This isn't a workout class or a diet check-in—it's simply a space to connect, laugh, and remind ourselves that we are more than our numbers. The exact content and structure of the gathering aren't 100% clear yet, but here are some suggestions in case we need inspiration on what to do. **What to expect:** * **💬 Stories of the Journey:** This is the heart of our meetup. We invite you to share why you want to lose weight in the first place. * **💬 Chill Chat:** A safe, judgment-free zone to share your stories, your "whys," challenges, and wins. Whether you're just starting out or have been on this path for years, your voice matters here. * **Your Vision:** What does a "healthy" life look like to you? Is it energy? Is it peace? Is it dancing in the kitchen? What's your goal (**NO NUMBERS – JUST VIBES**)? Let's dream together. * **✨ Romanticizing the Process:** We believe in finding beauty in the daily acts of self-care. Whether it's choosing a nice fruit, taking a gentle walk, or making yourself a colorful, nutritious meal, let's celebrate the small, loving choices we make for ourselves. ( I swear it sounds more like selfcare bla bla then it will be )We are reframing weight loss not as a battle, but as a gentle act of falling in love with our own well-being. * **🥗 Recipe Swap:** Bring your favorite healthy (but delicious!) recipe card or just tell us about a meal that makes you feel good. We'll share tips and maybe even swap a few favorites to try at home. * **☕ Good Vibes and Tips for Body Feeling:** Plenty of time to just relax, get to know each other, and enjoy some light refreshments while sharing tips on how to feel good in our bodies. **Who is this for?** Anyone with a BMI of 26.5+ who wants to find joy in health without the pressure. We celebrate all bodies and identities—trans, inter, agender, and non-cis folks are not just welcome, they are celebrated here! **Important Notes:** * **No Pressure:** Come as you are. There is no "right" way to be here. * **Safety First:** Remember, we are peers, not therapists. If you are struggling with an eating disorder or deep emotional distress, please prioritize professional support. We are here to support, not replace therapy. * **Respect:** Kindness is our rule. Bullying or disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated. Let's fill the room with love and let's treat ourselves respectfully, because we deserve to feel good and healthy! See you there, *xoxo Ladybug Lifter* **Willkommen zu unserem ersten Treffen!** Lass uns unsere Reise gemeinsam starten. Was ist dein Ziel (**KEINE ZAHLEN – NUR VIBES**)?

Eurovision Week Co-Working Session in Vienna with Style – Get It Done Together
Eurovision Week Co-Working Session in Vienna with Style – Get It Done Together
This is a structured coworking session for people who want to follow through and get it done. 👉 **New here? You can join for just 2 hours to try it out.** 👉 Stay longer if you want to go deeper. To join, please register here (takes 1–2 minutes): [https://nocrastination.space/](https://nocrastination.space/) **We like a touch of mystery!** **The exact location will be sent to you by email 24 hours before the session. Please make sure to register in advance.** **Execution with Style. You start, but don't finish. We help you get it done.** Join our [WhatsApp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/K6LidaoQhe16wZ0Se9pNM6?mode=gi_t) Follow us on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/nocrastinationclub/) You just haven’t been able to follow through. You start things, lose momentum and find yourself starting over again. You’re not alone. Most people get support at the beginning. And applause at the end. But the part that actually matters? The middle. The quiet, repetitive, sometimes frustrating part where nothing feels exciting, and everything depends on showing up. **That’s where we are.** At NoCrastination, we don’t meet for hype. We meet to **show up and finish something, together.** Not perfectly. Not magically. Just consistently. **Why “Style”?** Because sometimes, the hardest part isn’t the task. It’s who you believe you are when you sit down to do it. When you wear something different, something bold, unusual, or expressive: you step slightly outside your usual identity. And in that small shift… It becomes easier to start. Easier to act. Easier to follow through. **Execution with Style** Each session, you’re invited to wear something you normally wouldn’t: * the jacket that never leaves your closet * something colorful, dramatic, or expressive * something funny, strange, or unexpected * something you feel like you “can’t pull off” No pressure. But if you join in, be ready to share the story behind it. **Self-expression + execution = momentum** **What this really is** This is a space for people who: * keep starting but don’t finish * are building something (or figuring it out) * don’t want to do it alone anymore **What happens here** You bring something you’ve been avoiding. We sit down together. We focus. And you leave with something done. **Why people come back** * “I finally follow through on what I plan” * “I leave with real progress every time” * “This is the only place I actually stay consistent” **How long should I join?** You don’t need to commit to the full session. **Option 1: Try it (2 hours, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)** Perfect if it’s your first time or you want a light commitment **Option 2: Go deep (4 hours, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM)** Stay for the full session and build real momentum **Time and location** 🕐 **Every Tuesday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM** 💻 **Bring:** your laptop, journal, or anything you’ve been avoiding ☕ Please do order something from the bar, so as to keep us in their good graces! **How it works** * **13:00–13:15 → Arrival + Soft intro + Set your task** * **13:15 - 14:45 → Deep focus session 1** * **14:45 - 15:00 → 15’ Break** * **15:00 - 16:30 → Deep focus session 2** * **16:45 onwards → Networking** * Quiet focus + optional social space * Drop in anytime, stay as long as you want Simple structure. Real progress. **First time joining?** Look for **Joanna Liu** near the ground floor bar 💛 We’ll get you settled. **This is for you if:** * You keep starting but don’t finish * You feel stuck working alone * You want structure — without pressure * You want to express yourself AND move forward **What you’ll get** Not motivation. Not a productivity hack. **You’ll get: ONE THING DONE.** And then you come back, and do it again. **This is how it starts** You don’t need to commit to anything big. Just come once. Pick one thing. Finish it. We’ll be there. As we’re growing and improving the experience, we’re moving to a more structured system. Registration is part of participating. **Stay connected** Join our [WhatsApp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/K6LidaoQhe16wZ0Se9pNM6?mode=gi_t) Follow us on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/nocrastinationclub/) This is a space you can keep coming back to. **You’re not behind. You’re just in the middle.** And you don’t have to go through it alone. You are one of us.

Blue Zone Dinner — The Long Table: When Strangers Become Family
Blue Zone Dinner — The Long Table: When Strangers Become Family
Across the world, different cultures have the same word for the same sacred thing. In the Arab world, it's ***sufra*** — the spread that holds the room. Across Spain and Latin America, ***sobremesa*** — the hours no one wants to leave the table. In Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean, ***keyif*** — unhurried pleasure (the Greeks call it *kefi*, same ancient root). Across Italy and the Lusophone world — Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique — ***convivio*** — living together through the meal. In Southern Africa, ***ubuntu*** — "I am because we are." In Okinawa, ***moai*** — the lifelong circle that eats, walks, and grows old together. Across Malaysia and Indonesia, ***makan-makan*** — the easy, communal feast. In the Sikh tradition across South Asia, ***langar*** — where every person eats as equal, seated on the same floor. Eight cultures. Eight words. One truth: **the long table, the slow meal, the people who start as strangers and end as family.** The Blue Zones research — Dan Buettner's work on the five places where humans live longest and healthiest (Okinawa, Sardinia, Ikaria, Nicoya, Loma Linda) — keeps pointing back to this. Not the recipe. The table. The presence. The time. So let's do it. **What:** One long table. Food we cook together. Hours of real conversation — emotions, relationships, philosophy, and yes, politics — not as sides, but as the questions we all carry. Here, what usually divides a room becomes the ground we meet on. **What we leave behind:** Phones. All digital devices. None of the cultures we're honouring tonight needed them at the table — and the Blue Zones research is unambiguous: real longevity, real connection, real nervous-system repair happens only where we are not being scrolled into a loop. **What we bring:** Ourselves. Our culture. Whatever we're carrying. Whatever we want to share. **Open to everyone:** Whether your grandmother cooked in Beirut, Madrid, Istanbul, Naples, Johannesburg, Okinawa, Jakarta, or Amritsar — or nowhere at all — you belong at this table. The whole point is that nobody's culture runs the room. Every tradition sits beside every other. **Before the event:** A poll goes out, so we choose the menu together. **Now:** I'm looking for the right location — outdoors if possible, somewhere near Vienna. A garden, a terrace, a piece of land with trees and sky. If you have a spot or know one, message me. This is ours to build. Come as you are. Stay as long as it takes. *A small ritual before the ritual: a short call beforehand, 10 to 15 minutes. Not to screen you — to meet you. Every culture at this table starts a meal with a greeting. Ours starts here.* — Tom

Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience. And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree. In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again. Examples of painful experiences include: * A broken relationship or divorce. * Death or loss of a loved one. * Death of a pet. * A sudden shock or bad news. * A betrayal. * Being part of an abusive relationship. * A bad injustice. * Loss of a job, position or business. * A grave illness or injury. The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is sponsored the Dianetics & Scientology Self-Improvement Center.

Break Up With What Broke You, Columbus, Ohio
Break Up With What Broke You, Columbus, Ohio
On a list of "My Favorite Things", few people would put a "break up" in their top ten. More often, these words evoke feelings of shame, embarrassment, poor choices, and bad or sad endings. Before the new and beautiful can be built, the old, broken, and unnecessary must be cleared away. This process can be painful, but it is good, needful, and can produce wonderful results when done wisely and well. How does one break free from anxiety, comparison, or shame? Christian Bevere points people to the freedom God desires for His children, as well as giving practical ideas on how to shed both unhealthy baggage and the lies that seek to leave us anchored to past failure. Drawing from the Bible, ***Break Up With What Broke You*** clearly shows that what Satan would seek to use for evil, God uses for good and to accomplish His purposes. Join us **Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:30 pm**, when we gather at **True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center, Columbus**. We'd love to see you there! Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting. Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance. Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues. So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them? That is what this meeting will be all about. Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
