This theme encompasses many of the works of Eastern European authors, some known and most unknown, from post-communist memoirs and political satire to novels, family histories, and modern fiction. The theme is to invite us to explore the voices, histories, and cultures of Eastern Europe through recommendation of the others and to talk about our most loved books within the theme. Bring along a favorite read, a recent discovery, or a longtime classic you’d love to share and discuss with the group.
