Winter camping! 1,5 Days + 1 Night - A 35 KM hike in Sweden
Winter camping! 1,5 Days + 1 Night - A 35 KM hike in Sweden
Hey Randoms, This is your chance to try sleeping outdoors in the cold season! 11 KM on Friday Night - night hiking is fun! 24 KM on Saturday. It's an after-work-on-a-Friday type of event, with a short hike 11 KM Friday night and around 24 KM on Saturday. We'll hit the start of the trail in Röstånga just after 18:00 and hike in the dark. A good light source is going to be **very** important here - please bring that. Headlamp recommended. As usual, you need to be self-supported: gear, nutrition, etc. And this time of year it's good to pay extra attention to the comfort temp rating of your sleeping bag and the R-Value of your sleeping pad. We'll pass by several water resupply options along the way, so you'll probably be OK with packing 2 liters of water, depending on personal preferences and needs. We may our may not find a shelter. It's not a sure thing, so please bring your tent, hammock, tarp - whichever you prefer. And it could be too wet for a campfire, so you probably don't want to rely too much on that for cooking. Saturday is a hike around Söderåsen National park, with some fun spots along the way, and we'll return to Röstånga mid to late afternoon - the trip back to CPH is around 2 hours. The weather this time of year can be a little rough, and it's usually wet and cold, so please make sure to dress accordingly and pack waterproof, especially your sleeping bag. Get your train/bus ticket from Skånetrafiken - they have a decent mobile app, recommended. Destination: Röstånga bus station.

Unhappily Ever After
Unhappily Ever After
In English Friday 13th: 19:00-21:00 Saturday 14th: 16:00-18:00 Saturday 14th: 20:00-22:00 50-225 kr: [Tickets here](https://h2ocph.billetten.dk/index/eventdetails/eventno/143395) *Unhappily Ever After* is a Valentine's cabaret for anyone whose love story didn't quite make it into the fairy tale. Told with warmth, wit, and a healthy dose of self-awareness, the show explores the highs and lows of chasing a love story and asks the question: what if not getting the fairy tale is actually fine? Performed by an incredible cast of 15 professional, international singers, *Unhappily Ever After* is a true showcase of musical theatre talent. This is big voices, sharp storytelling, and embittered love ballads at their best, all delivered in an intimate cabaret setting. Featuring songs from *Waitress*, *Legally Blonde*, *Follies*, *The Last Five Years*, *A Chorus Line*, *Falsettos*, and many more, the show uses iconic musical numbers to help you celebrate Valentine's Day in a whole new way. Perfect for couples, friends, the happily single, the freshly heartbroken, or anyone who enjoys laughing at love while still believing in it (a little bit), *Unhappily Ever After* is a Valentine's show with heart, humour, and zero pressure to believe in happily ever after. Because sometimes, unhappily ever after is exactly where the good stuff starts. **Info om cast og produktion:** Host: Rachel Kador Dramaturg: Lasse Holmelund Jarbøl Producent: Maria Højrup Jørgensen Pianist: Ethan Nowack **Cast:** Anna Christine Bauer Clara Amalie Singerholm Christiansen Evan Kilgore Freya Uldal Jana María Guðmundsdóttir Jasper Thomas Kristen Flanagan Kristian Husted Melissa Bayern Olivia Jang Pablo Lara Rachel Kador Roger William Le Blanc Jr. Trine Marie Wisborg **About Cph Musicals:** CPH Musicals was founded in 2022 with the mission of promoting musical theatre and musicals in both Danish and English, so that more people can enjoy high-quality musical experiences. We aim to create a space on the Copenhagen theatre scene for smaller, more intimate, yet powerful and moving musical performances. We are an international company committed to creating diverse and representative performing arts. Over the years, we have collaborated with musicians, singers, and choreographers from countries including Norway, England, Belgium, Bosnia, the USA, Canada, South Korea, and Argentina. CPH Musicals embraces the cabaret format, where a host can guide the audience through a series of different acts, thereby creating an intimate space where we can come together around the music.

Grammars, Parsers and Tokenisers.
Grammars, Parsers and Tokenisers.
A brief introduction and discussion about lexical analysis, parsers, grammars, NDFA and DFA, and compiler generators. A grammar is a 4-tuple defined as Non terminals, terminals, a start symbol, and a set of productions. G(N, T, S, P) LL (scan from the left and build a left tree), LR (scan from the left and build a right tree). Recursive descent (A possibly hand built LL parser). Productions will be Chomsky type 3 for regular expressions for lexical analysis, and type 2 (context free) for computer languages, based on BNF. Let’s build a very simple tokeniser and then use it to parse a small language using recursive descent. My language of choice would be C# but we could use C or C++ if there is consensus on that. C# Lexer/Tokeniser can be fetched from (now with parse tree) www.blueoffice.com

Shut Up & Write!™ Copenhagen
Shut Up & Write!™ Copenhagen
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at our Copenhagen Shut Up & Write! sessions. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, résumé, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: - 15 minutes of hellos and getting settled; maybe some quick intros. - Then, the timer starts! : writing for 1 hour. - After the hour is up... chat / take off / keep writing, if you're on a roll. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens once the hour of writing is complete. Writing can be very solitary... connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. It's best to be on time, but BEING LATE IS ALSO OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check in with us after the session. (We’ll be the ones with the small Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. What Should I Bring? Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons.

Humanist Community Celebrating Darwin Day
Humanist Community Celebrating Darwin Day
Dale Gnidovec, Curator of the Orton Hall Museum of Geology at The Ohio State University, will be presenting a program he has wanted to share with us for a long time: Plate Tectonics. His description of his program: Continents on the move - Nothing in Earth history makes sense without moving continents - it tells us why mountains, volcanoes, minerals, and fossils are where they are. This talk examines the evidence for continental drift, why it was disbelieved, and explains how the more-encompassing theory of plate tectonics was developed and eventually proven. Dale is an energetic, incredibly knowledgeable, and very entertaining speaker and this will be another wonderful program by Dale. Hope to see you there! Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup (3rd Tues)
Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup (3rd Tues)
Jimmy V's Grill & Pub in Grandview Heights. We meet in the bar in the room on the right (the cigar shop). You are responsible for your own meal/drinks. We usually don't have any agenda other than eat, drink and talk. :) If the weather is nice we will be on the back patio, otherwise we are in the cigar room. This group has been meeting every Tuesday evening for over a decade. Many attendees do not RSVP on meetup. Please don't let the small number here discourage you. Anyone/everyone is welcome to come. We'd love to have you join us. COTA bus #5 comes to W. 5th and Wyandotte Rd. And it's a minute walk to the restaurant. *** Did you know that there are atheists everywhere?!?! You may not know it, but we are! We're in your schools, diners, police force, military, government, and some are even still in your churches! So come and join us and meet other local atheists, along with agnostics, heathens, humanists, skeptics, and anyone else who's 'hell bound'! Vision: a Central Ohio that accepts atheism as a viable alternative in all areas of public and private life. Mission: grow, support, and provide community for atheists in Central Ohio. Social meetings held most Tuesdays at a local pub/restaurant at 7:00 PM (and often into the wee hours). Attendees call themselves agnostics, skeptics, humanists, non-theists, deists or even theists. All attendees are welcome but should support our vision. Atheists of Columbus (AoC) is part of Omnipresent Atheists (OA). AoC members are invited to join this OA meetup and/or OA Facebook group ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/omnipresentatheists/ ) but are free to continue conversations on the AoC Facebook group ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/columbusatheists/ ). AoC was founded in 2012 as a networking, social group for Central Ohio area humanists, skeptics, atheists, agnostics, nonbelievers, freethinkers, and the curious. It was a member of Columbus CoR and held weekly meetings, mostly on Fridays, for several years but then operated as an online only group for some time. In November 2018, Omnipresent Atheists (OA), a group that routinely meets on Tuesdays, invited AoC to merge. Omnipresent Atheists is a member of the Columbus Coalition of Reason (ColumbusCoR.org). Omnipresent Atheists is a member of the Columbus Coalition of Reason ( http://www.ColumbusCoR.org ). Omnipresent Atheists endorses the mission of the Secular Coalition for America ( http://secular.org ).
