We listen to the birds. Gregorjevo (March 12th) is the ancient Slovenian Valentine’s Day—the day when the birds wed and the light returns to the world. Because the best celebrations deserve a Friday night, Ljubljana International is hosting a special "Gregorjevo Eve" on Friday, March 13th. For centuries people have celebrated Gregorjevo by sending small boats with wishes down the river, symbolizing letting go of winter and welcoming the light and new beginnings. This year, Ljubljana International invites you to experience this tradition together with our international community. 🚢 Here's what we're doing: We start the evening at Pub LOO-BLAH-NAH at 8PM — drinks, good company, and making our paper boats together.
