The February meetup of AWS User Group Ljubljana is coming up, and this month we will be hosted by Celtra! \-\-\- We will follow Žiga on a migration of a production service with a database from Heroku to AWS and how database was migrated with Database Migration Service. We will take a look at what DMS is, what it offers and the gotchas encountered when planning the migration. In the last part of the talk, we will hear about the uncaught error in the migration process that would break the migration planned for next day. \-\-\- Anej will present how Celtra implemented AWS Organization Security into their existing organization managed by years-old Terraform project. We will take a look at common patterns and specific use-cases encountered in the implementation. An expert level talk on AWS security and solutions offered that will definitely spark a discussion afterwards. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude.
