**Botanical & Photographic Cyanotype Workshop** From *La Chakana*, we open our space to new learning experiences conceived as places for encounter, experimentation, and the circulation of knowledge. We are especially excited to share this workshop, as cyanotype is a sensitive and inspiring technique that connects image, matter, and light in a direct and poetic way. Cyanotype is an artisanal photographic printing process characterized by its deep blue tones. Through the action of ultraviolet light on a photosensitive solution, unique compositions can be created using botanical elements, objects, or photographic images. In this workshop, we will explore cyanotype as an artistic and experimental practice. Participants will learn how to prepare the chemical solution, choose and treat different supports, and create compositions combining natural forms, everyday materials, or photographic images—engaging both the technical and creative aspects of the process. This is a hands-on and accessible introduction to the technique. No prior experience in photography or printmaking is required—only curiosity, a desire to create, and an openness to sharing the process collectively. La cianotipia es una técnica artesanal de impresión fotográfica caracterizada por sus tonos azules profundos. A través de la acción de la luz ultravioleta sobre una solución fotosensible, es posible crear composiciones únicas utilizando elementos botánicos, objetos o imágenes fotográficas. En este taller exploraremos la cianotipia como práctica artística y experimental. Aprenderemos a preparar la solución química, a elegir y tratar distintos soportes, y a crear composiciones combinando formas naturales, materiales cotidianos o imágenes fotográficas, atendiendo tanto al proceso técnico como al creativo. *Punto Raíz* is a space for encounter, creation, and care through photo embroidery and self-portrait practice. This workshop invites participants to intervene personal photographs as a way of storytelling—recognizing ourselves and reconstructing our narratives through body, memory, and lived experience. Throughout life, we go through moments of change, displacement, rupture, or transformation that invite us to pause and look at ourselves more closely. This workshop is conceived as a conscious pause to reflect on who we are, where we come from, and how we inhabit our own image, in dialogue with others and through mutual listening. From a feminist, sensitive, and collaborative perspective, participants will embroider on their own photographs as a symbolic and expressive gesture—marking, repairing, accompanying, and resignifying the image. Through thread and needle, we explore self-portraiture as an accessible and collective artistic practice, where every story has value and space. The workshop is designed as an intimate, safe, and horizontal space, open to people of all backgrounds, ages, and experiences. No prior experience in embroidery or artistic practices is required—only a willingness to share, create, and connect collectively. A lo largo de la vida atravesamos momentos de cambio, desplazamiento, quiebre o transformación que nos invitan a detenernos y mirarnos con más atención. Este taller nace como una pausa consciente para observar quiénes somos, de dónde venimos y cómo habitamos nuestra propia imagen, en diálogo con otras personas y desde la escucha mutua. Desde una mirada feminista, sensible y colaborativa, el taller invita a bordar sobre fotografías propias como gesto simbólico y expresivo: señalar, reparar, acompañar y resignificar la imagen. A través del hilo y la aguja, exploramos el autorretrato como una práctica artística accesible y colectiva, donde cada historia tiene lugar y valor. El encuentro se plantea como un espacio íntimo, seguro y horizontal, abierto a personas de todos los orígenes, edades y trayectorias. No es necesario tener experiencia previa en bordado ni en prácticas artísticas, solo el deseo de compartir, crear y encontrarse en colectivo.
