Die deutsche Industrie könne aufgrund ihrer schwachen Wettbewerbsposition nur eingeschränkt vom zunehmenden Welthandel profitieren. Zudem bliebe die Kapazitätsauslastung in der Industrie niedrig und bremse weiterhin privaten Investitionen aus. Seit Jahren nun tritt die Deutsche Wirtschaft auf der Stelle. Die Politik hat bislang noch keinen nennenswerte Konjunkturimpulse auf den Weg gebracht. In einer Sache sind sich fast alle Einig: Es braucht wieder Wachstum. Meet like-minded people, get authentic meditation instructions and hang out in our beautiful Buddhist meditation center in the west of Berlin! The practice of meditation is a simple, yet profound practice that helps us to connect with ourselves and gives us tools to release experiences of distraction, agitation, and stress. In the Buddhist tradition, meditation is more than just a way to end the mind´s distraction - it is what helps us to bring our mind home to its true nature. What better way to experience the colourful facets of meditation than with a group of like-minded people? Hence our open meditation sessions always have a social element as well - we like to have a tea and share about our meditation experiences, or whatever else we want to explore. Hi everyone, Berlin Lingua Hub’s **Afterwork Cultural Picnic** is back, finally!!! Twice a month, we’ll meet at **Monbijou Park** for a relaxed evening of **good conversations, new connections, and cultural exchange**. **What’s the idea?** We keep it simple: **bring your favorite drinks or snacks**, enjoy a laid-back picnic, and connect with people from all over the world. Whether you’re new in Berlin or have been here for years, this is a great way to meet interesting people in a relaxed atmosphere. **What about languages?** This is not a structured Sprachcafé, but since Berlin Lingua Hub is all about languages and cultural exchange, you’ll naturally find people speaking different languages. Unofficially, the second movie in director Lars von Trier's "Depression Trilogy," 2011 Melancholia depicts the events that occur before a rogue planet is about to collide with the earth. Considered by many to be a masterpiece, the film was included in BFI's 2022 Sight and Sound Poll of the greatest movies of all time. It is available at the library as well as on Kanopy.

Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve those in need. NOTE: We’re switching it up this time and going with a DINNER shift on Mon, 7/6. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for DINNER from 4:30 to 6:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 4:20pm and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking are available in the surrounding area. Discover how to safely preserve food at home. Learn basic food preservation methods including pressure canning, water bath canning and drying.
