Respect and Safety:
There is always at least one organizer present at every meetup. If you ever feel unsafe or bothered by someone’s behavior, you can reach out to an organizer privately. Your identity will remain confidential, your concern will be taken seriously, and no inappropriate behavior is tolerated — anyone making others feel uncomfortable will be removed from the group immediately.
We hope to see you there. Bring yourself, your smile, drawing materials, your stories—or just your comfy self.
Let’s make Saturday a little more laid-back, a little more social and a lot more nice.
See you soon!

The Other Side of Berlin: A Walk Through City's Hidden Gems
Hello! We are the team at CaféIN, an inclusive café in Berlin, and we are launching a new Walk & Talk series.
Together, we will discover an “alternative” side of Berlin: not the Berlin of clubs, nightlife and the city’s usual clichés, but a greener, calmer side shaped by local neighbourhoods, green spaces and places beyond the typical tourist routes. ❤️🌳🏡🏙
The idea is simple: to bring people together through walking, good conversations and shared experiences.
Whether you are new to Berlin, looking to expand your social circle or simply want to spend a relaxed Saturday outdoors, everyone is welcome. 😎
How it works:
• We meet at 12:00 in front of Rathaus Spandau.
• We walk through Spandau’s Old Town and continue towards Johannesstift.
• Along the way, we will explore parts of Spandauer Forst, one of Berlin’s largest urban forests.
• We finish the walk at CaféIN, our inclusive café located on the green Johannesstift campus in Spandau.
This will be an opportunity to continue conversations over coffee and discover a unique place that brings together culture, community and inclusion. The event will last around 3 to 4 hours, but everyone is free to leave earlier or stay longer.
Please wear comfortable shoes and check the weather forecast beforehand 😜
This is a relaxed social event and everyone is responsible for themselves during the walk 😇
Meetup for laid off folks in Berlin
Please RSVP on luma: https://luma.com/xmc1l5eg
# Laid off? Same!
Barely anyone I know hasn't been laid off at least once. Layoffs feel like another Tuesday right now. That's why I call us "Generation Layoff."
If you've been laid off, or feel one coming - this is your space. This meetup is for everybody pre-, during or post-layoff.
Whether you stressed out about an upcoming layoff or you've been laid off and now job-hunting or want to start something of your own - come and share.
No judgment, no pressure.
We share where we're at, what we're going through, and what's coming next.
This isn't another networking event where we hunt opportunities and call being laid off "impacted by company restructuring."
We connect people based on the challenges they're actually facing - so everyone leaves with something useful, whether that's a contact, a resource, or just knowing you're not alone.
Being laid off is often treated as a taboo topic - and it shouldn't be. We'll exchange all the insider tips and tricks and get stronger together.
What to Expect:
→ A chill, zero-judgement safe space
→ Addressing your challenges
→ People helping people
ORGANISATIONAL STUFFS:
→ We'll meet in a park, bring a blanket to sit on, a drink of your choice and some snacks, whatever it is you need for a picnic style.
→ In case of rain we will go to the BRLO Brewery.
If you can't find us, call +4917626669794
I will carry a sign with "GENERATION LAYOFF" though :D
We meet in Gleisdreieck park here: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/rC6fh9EprxEHnxEL7?g_st=ic](https://maps.app.goo.gl/rC6fh9EprxEHnxEL7?g_st=ic&utm_source=luma)
Building Stories: Biographical Traces – Karl-Marx-Allee
**If the event is fully booked, feel free to join us at the meeting point.**
A participatory urban walk exploring memory, monuments, architecture, and hidden narratives in public space through observation, storytelling, and photography.
We will move slowly along Karl-Marx-Allee, treating the city as a layered archive of perception. Through guided observation exercises and short reflective prompts, participants are invited to explore how urban space is read through personal experience, collective memory, and everyday traces.
This is not a tour, but a collective reading of the city.
No prior experience required.
**Materials:**
smartphone, paper, pen, optional audio recording
**Participation:**
Participation by voluntary contribution (5–15 € suggested)
**Meeting point:** Karl-Marx-Büste (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strausberger_Platz#Karl-Marx-B%C3%BCste), Berlin ([Strausberger Pl. 12, 10243 Berlin](https://maps.google.com/maps?vet=10CAAQoqAOahcKEwi4l8-__c-UAxUAAAAAHQAAAAAQJg..i&sca_esv=080e5c4976d32afe&pvq=OhUweDA6MHgzOWMxOWFkN2Y5ZDg2ZTY&fvr=1&cs=0&um=1&ie=UTF-8&fb=1&gl=de&sa=X&ftid=0x47a84e3e065a95dd:0x39c19ad7f9d86e6))
**Collective Archive (optional contribution):**
Participants are invited to contribute to a shared archive of the walk:
Upload here: https://padlet.com/denkmallab/Building_Stories_Memory_Walk_Contributions
Contributions are voluntary and may include photos, notes, or audio fragments from the walk and are part of a collective open research experiment

Blood on the Clocktower at Manifesto! (beginner/intermediate)
Hi folks, this is the meetup group for the weekly Sunday Blood on the Clocktower games in the Soot bar in Manifesto at Potsdamer Platz. We run beginner-friendly and intermediate-level games throughout the afternoon and evening. **Friendly newcomers of all skill levels are welcome, no experience required!**
Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players don’t take themselves or the game too seriously, whether they’re heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration – “killing with grace, and dying with dignity”.
We are usually able to offer two simultaneous games on Sundays. If you are marked as "attending" in Meetup and are in your seat at 15:00, your place is guaranteed for as long as you want to stay. All other seats are first come, first served. We always run at least one beginner-friendly game of the basic version of Clocktower ("Trouble Brewing") throughout the afternoon and evening. We also usually have enough players for a second intermediate-level game. If you are already very familiar with Clocktower, consider also joining our Tuesday meetup for advanced players, when we play with complex custom scripts and characters.
Blood on the Clocktower is a deep, mechanical game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception… think Werewolf on steroids. Each player receives a unique secret role and plays either for the good team – the uninformed majority, gathering info and working with others to solve the puzzle – or the evil team, the informed minority, scheming to eliminate good players and protect their demon from execution. In our beginner games no prior experience is expected and we will gladly explain the game rules to any newcomers.
We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a “Revolutionary” pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case.
We are very grateful to the wonderful folks at Manifesto for hosting our meetup! **Please support the venue during your visit by buying drinks and/or food.**
Coffee, Games, & Views ☕️ 🎲 🃏🌳: Sunday @ the Spree
Join us this Sunday for a relaxed afternoon of good coffee, great conversations, and board games at Exclusive Coffee on Brückenstraße!
Located right by the Spree, this beautiful two-storey cafe features massive glass windows overlooking the river, giving us a wonderful waterfront view while we play and chat. If you’re worried about the summer heat, don’t be; the venue is spacious, airy, and well-ventilated.
Whether you’re a regular or joining us for the very first time, come along to enjoy an iced coffee, play some light board games (no competition stress), and meet new people in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
To keep the gathering comfortable, attendance is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot. If your plans change, we’d really appreciate it if you updated your RSVP so someone on the waitlist can join. 😀

Welcome to Sunday Tech Coffee. This is a **networking** event for those in the tech industry in Berlin.
We are usually inside and to the right. Ask the barista/bartender if you can't find us.
Afternoon Walk+Coffee in Berlin: Alexanderplatz to Zoologischer 👣🚶🚶♀️☀️🥐☕🍪
1 EURO DONATION FEE PER PERSON IS REQUIRED (on site, in cash), to pay back the Meetup subscription fees and support my Events.
READ THE DESCRIPTION WITH THE INFO (IMPORTANT).
We take a walk in Berlin to meet new people or people we already know 😁
It's a way to spend a few hours together on a Sunday afternoon.
**How it works?**
The concept is very simple:
* We meet at Alexanderplatz Station at 14,00 o'clock (we use the Whatsapp Chat to find each other: I will post there my exact location in the station)
* I wait for people for 10 minutes, till 14,10, then we start to walk direction West, crossing Museum Island and Mitte 🏛️🏘️
* We reach Tiergarten and we will cross the entire park, seeing some of its interesting points🌲🌳☘️
* We finally reach Café am Neuen See:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/kSui84icxyU6hQG56
to sit down together to take something to drink or eat 🥐☕🍪
* The total length of the walk is about 8kms
I consider that the event will last in overall around 4 hours (2 hours of walk and 2 hours at Café am Neuen See), but people are free to stay together longer, if they want 🙂
What I provide is leading the walk and the people at Café am Neuen See, but I do not force anyone to stay shorter or longer.
I do not provide a "personal support" for people who arrive after 14,10 (do not write to me expecting "private support").
You are responsible to check for the weather and decide if come or not.
Thanks for understanding.
If you have to contact me, make it via Whatsapp, not here on Meetup.

CMG Gives Back: Serve Dinner at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve those in need. NOTE: We’re switching it up this time and going with a DINNER shift on Mon, 7/6. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces.
PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for DINNER from 4:30 to 6:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 4:20pm and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking are available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details:
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve. Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to those volunteering at this (or any of our previous or future) CMG Gives Back events!
Look forward to seeing you there, Dan

You can sleep in on the Sesquicentennial (observed), we’re shifting to the following Friday.
But join the local UX community for a chat and some biscuits to catch up. If you were in CA for Figma Config, tell us all the lines and you can tell me how I can animate an SVG without coding it by hand, and why I’d even want to.
Thanks to the team at Nationwide of supporting the group.
