Intermediate Calisthenics Community Session
This is not a traditional guided class. It is a relaxed community training session for people who already have some calisthenics experience and want to train together, practice skills, exchange ideas, and hang out.
Iâll personally be training push that day, but feel free to work on whatever you want.
The vibe is social, self-directed, and supportive. Think of it more like meeting training partners than attending a structured class.
đŞ Best suited for:
* people with some basic calisthenics experience
* anyone comfortable training independently
* those looking for motivation, community, and consistency
â ď¸ If you are completely new to calisthenics or want more coaching and structure, the Beginner Calisthenics Class on Wednesdays will be a much better fit.
Come train, learn from each other, and enjoy the session together.

Moving to Berlin is an adventure, but letâs be realâthe bureaucracy is a headache and making friends in a city this big can feel like a full-time job.

đť We have a reserved area just for us. Grab a drink, find a spot, and join any conversation.

Blood on the Clocktower in Mitte (advanced level)
**New to the game? Please join our beginner-friendly Sunday event instead!**
Hi folks, this is a special meetup group for the regular Blood on the Clocktower games every Tuesday in Berlin Mitte. This event is aimed at players who are already very familiar with Clocktower - if you have dozens of games under your belt and are excited to play custom scripts with other seasoned players, this is the event for you!
Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players donât take themselves or the game too seriously, whether theyâre heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration â âkilling with grace, and dying with dignityâ.
If you are marked as "going" in Meetup and are in your seat at 19:00, your place is guaranteed. All other seats are first come, first served. There is a âŹ3 entrance fee per person to cover the cost of hiring the venue, payable in cash.
We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a âRevolutionaryâ pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case.
Planning Parental Leave in Tech
Planning to go on parental leave while working in tech? You probably have a ton of questions, and we will do our best to get you answers.
Whether you're expecting, currently on leave, planning ahead or wanting to support your teammates, navigating parental leave comes with a lot of new challenges.
Technical careers require us to stay up to date and living in Germany adds another layer of bureaucratic hurdles to the mix.
To help you feel more prepared, we have selected panelists who've been through it and will share their experiences openly: what worked, what surprised them, and what they wish they'd known.
We'll cover the practical and bureaucratic side, the career side, and we'll reserve time for your questions.

Vernissage "Spellbound" by Bianca Dakli
Bianca Dakliâs paintings depict nocturnal scenes of inner landscapes. She draws her inspiration primarily from the sky, the moon, the sea, and its unpredictability. She seeks openness, freedom, and new possibilities. Her works invite viewers to encounter an often challenging external world with curiosity and openness, rather than with fear.
Having spent her entire life in chaotic metropolises, she views painting as a gateway to a world entirely distinct from the material and hectic struggles of daily life. Through her paintings, Dakli aims to open up spaces of freedom that foster tranquility and offer time for reflection.
Dakli has lived in Berlin since 2013 and works as a freelance artist in the fields of dance and performance. For several years now, she has focused primarily on acrylic painting and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.

Theory Meets Practice #4: Explainable Scientific Discovery with AI Memory

**Please note: Without approved registration on Luma, you will NOT be able to access the event location or attend.**
We are excited to host a **BLISS x dida workshop** featuring **Lazar ObradoviÄ (Lead Data Scientist @ cognee.ai)**, who will guide us through an interactive session on Agentic AI.
âTitle: Explainable Scientific Discovery with AI Memory:
Hypothesis Generation and Validation with Cognee and Bayer
đ
Date: 27.05.2026
đ Time: 18:00
đ Location: TU Berlin Marchstrasse 23 [Room 0.011]
âThe session will last around 2 hours, followed by a networking session with dida and fellow AI enthusiasts (and free pizza!đ). Bring your laptop!
**âAbstract: Building "AI scientist"** systems that can reliably generate and evaluate research ideas remains effectively an open problem. While LLMs make hypothesis generation cheap, current systems still struggle to connect evidence across papers, domains, and mechanisms in a structured and reusable way. Evaluation is equally difficult, often relying on opaque âLLM-as-a-judgeâ methods that are hard to interpret or reproduce. We use Cognee to ingest scientific literature and construct a graph-based representation of papers, claims, and entities with associated vector embeddings. We then use this structure to select and organize the context used for hypothesis generation. Candidate hypotheses are evaluated using explicit graph- and vector-based metrics grounded in the underlying corpus. Initial evaluations by Bayer across targeted biomedical domains demonstrated that graph-based AI memory can reliably support scientific hypothesis generation and validation.

âWe are **dida**, scientific engineers who believe that **reliable AI** should not be a **"black box".** That is why we prioritize transparency, mathematics, and code over hype. FLow - vocal soundbath and breathwork meditation + freestyle vocal session
đ˘ Doors open at 18:30 and sessions start at 19:00.
Freestyle vocal workout at and play session. âŹ8-20
đ Flow is a state of being⌠an experience when you allow yourself to be 100% fully engaged in the present moment in a feedback loop between clarity and satisfaction. It is an undeniable sensation where things seem to be more effortless, pleasurable, in sync, and you can easily sense a connection with something greater than yourself; this is what we will createâŚ:
⢠a connected and mindful meditation where it is possible to blissfully surf the cutting edge of the present moment togetherâŚ
⢠a game where itâs possible to feel excited and calm in the same moment, and everyone can win as much as they likeâŚ
Scott Bolden, founder of Das Baumhaus Berlin will share some very easy, practical and effective methods developed during the last 12 years of facilitating the âImprovisational Groove Orchestraâ (I.G.O.) improv vocal jam sessions.
Within 20 minutes participants learn to use the common sound space to create resonance in the form of improvisational music where it is quite common to experience some real flow momentsâŚ
It is very easy to participate, no musical talent or training is required so anyone is welcome to join. All of the session is done with eyes closed to avoid visual distractions and keep focus on the co-created sound space. During these sessions we will also have short breaks for feedback and refreshment.
Important â Please be on time. It is very important to understand the methodology and warm up in the group before joining in!

Spaghetti Eis and a stroll through the park
Hello people,
Letâs have a very typical German ice cream together: the spaghetti ice cream. Weâll go to Berlinâs oldest ice cream cafe. Of course you can also order something else.
Afterwards, we will go for a little stroll in the park, which is right next to the cafe.
Please update your RSVP in time if you cannot make it - have respect for others who are interested and me who doesnât want to eat ice cream alone ;-).
See you soon,

May Book Club Meetup
Welcome, readers!
Our May read is **_Kindred_ by Octavia E. Butler.**
The story follows Dana, a Black woman living in 1976 California, who is suddenly pulled back to a Maryland plantation before the Civil War. She learns her survival is tied to a white slaveholderâs son. Forced to move between centuries, she must endure the brutal realities of slavery while fighting to hold on to her identity. Tense, intimate, and unforgettable, Kindred explores how the past refuses to stay buried.
Looking forward to discussing with everyone!
We will meet at Zaftig Brewing Co in their event room in the back. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but **drinks must be purchased at the bar.**
Happy reading! đ
