Day trip to the Grampians. The Grampians is at the end of one of the greatest mountain ranges on Earth. Or at the start! You can look at it both ways!
**Itinerary: Pykes Creek Reservoir - Lake Burrumbeet - Ararat lookout - Halls Gap - Lake Bellfield - Reed Lookout - MacKenzie Falls - Lake Wartook - Boroka Lookout - Ararat lookout encore - freeway hillside lookout**
**Meeting point: Fed Square, 8:45 am**. Back there by **8:45 pm**. Meet by the steps.

**Total fee: $20 (payment details will be messaged). This covers a new, large rental (SUV), fuel and driver.**
Prepayment is needed to finalise your spot. I will provide you my mobile number for PayID, which is a secure payment through internet banking.
The fee is very low because this is just a formality to confirm your place, so that I know you are serious on attending. This project is my community service. I have done over 50 road trips and it has never been about the money. Please see the group description for reason on why the fee is so low.
**Cancellations:** If I cancel the road trip for any unforeseen issues, a full refund will be given. If you cancel, there is no refund. Sorry!

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!! FREE – let’s do WANDER lights
WANDER LIGHTS- let’s enjoy the best Christmas lights that Columbus has to offer. All FREE. We will begin our wander lights experience at Columbus Commons. There is a 40 foot lit Christmas tree, over 150 lighted trees, decorated garden beds and an illuminated tunnel made up of glowing archways complete with a snow globe photo op. Plus new illuminations on the Columbus common stage.
NEXT - we will walk down to 50 West Town St. 400 feet away. Town Street will be twinkling with lights and decorations. Follow the illuminated penguins and lights down the wander lights path from Columbus commons to the Seattle mile. Stop by the Lazarus building Galleria, for an elaborate holiday display.
NEXT - we will walk down to the Scioto mile. .3 miles. 233 S. Civic Center Dr. The downtown riverfront will be decked out in an elevated glow, centered around the Scioto mile fountain, which will be illuminated by more than 40 sculptural lights and 75 wrapped trees, providing passersby with the ultimate winter photo backdrop.
FINALLY- .5 Miles One Direction is LAND GRANT and several other bars. The other direction .4 miles is pecan pennies, the greatest diner ever.

The Photoshop Bootcamp workshop is a hands-on workshop, and example files and materials are made available to each participant. Each participant is required to have a computer available for use throughout the workshop. That computer must be adequately configured to run the latest version of Photoshop available in Adobe's Creative Cloud software suite (as of the time of this document, that version is Photoshop 2025 (Version 26.9.0)). Photoshop should be installed and operational before the commencement of the workshop. **"An Evening with DXO Labs (NIK Collection 8)"**
For many, many years, the NIK Collection of photo editing tools has been the coveted add-on of choice for many photographers. To know the story of the NIK Collection is to know happiness, angst, celebration, and innovation. But more of that at the meeting!
I will spend a couple of hours going through the most useful tools in the NIK Collection and showing how I use them in my editing workflow. If you aspire to elevate your editing skills and produce better-edited images, this set of tools is worth a look!

Providing Images for Critique:
For now, I will collect images at the beginning of the meeting on a USB memory stick. My computer has USB-C ports, so a USB-C memory stick or one with dual (USB-C / USB-A) ports will be needed.
Images should follow these format rules:
JPG - 80% quality or higher
132 dpi resolution
2048 pixels across the long edge
Embedded colorspace - sRGB
