Injera Night | Ethiopian/Eritrean Friday Dining Series
Injera Night is a social event where people bond over African cuisine and create new memories.
Please note, this event will alternate between vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes biweekly.
Eating Ethiopian/Eritrean food has always been a social event. It is a shared experience that includes everyone around the table and creates a communal feeling for all those involved. In addition to its flavourful dishes, stews, and spices, the cuisines also feature a strong culture around how food is served and shared with friends and family. Above all, eating injera with your hands and feeling its texture by itself is a lot of fun! In this time where people value meaningful connections, Africa Center Hong Kong will be here to provide you this unique dining experience with friends and family. One where the eating experience goes beyond the food to encompass the community. Be sure to join us for this novel experience!

In 1990, the Central Market building was graded as a Grade III historic building by the Antiquities Advisory Board.
After multiple rounds of study and consultation, the revitalization project for the Central Market building began in October 2017. Upon completion, a portion of the market stalls will be preserved.
the Central Market's historical significance makes it an attractive venue for hosting various types of events that can celebrate Hong Kong's rich heritage and cultural identity. Please grab a dink and enjoy!

Dog Pawrents Meetup for Christmas & Festive Photo Taking
**Hello dog parents and dog lovers!**
Christmas is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for a cozy meetup for you and your furry friend, come join us on the 21st for a relaxed doggie gathering with a small photo‑shoot setup!
I noticed there isn’t a dog‑related group here on Meetup, so I thought… why not start one myself? There’s no fee — I simply want to bring together people who share a love for dogs. For everyone’s safety, I’ll just need you to fill out a quick form beforehand.
\>\>\> https://moaform\.com/q/EYHMmG <<<
We’ll be meeting in Sheung Wan. Let me know if you’d like to join — would love to see you and your pup there!
\*\*The photos will not be handled by a professional photographer but I'll try to get the decoration and props. Let's meet up and have some Christmas photo fun!
Hooked
**Hooked, disoriented, lost…**
It’s a common sight to see people everywhere around us glued to their smartphone screens, and in this outing we would capture people using their cell phones in the streets.
The idea is to capture the hooked humanity in various contexts, situations and relations by applying photographic techniques.
Please have a look at some of the pictures on the theme in this event's album below.
**Meeting Time and Place:**
**3.30pm** at the **Wan Chai MTR Station**, **Exit A3** (street level, Johnston Road).
We would meet **3.30pm at the Wan Chai MTR Station Exit A3 (street level, Johnston Road)**, then walk around Wan Chai neighbourhood taking pictures and re-group **5pm** at **Eric Kayser Cafe, 248 Queen’s Rd E, Wan Chai** (opposite Hopewell Centre) for photo sharing/discussion over a drink.
**IMPORTANT:**
Please sign up only if you are coming, those not showing up 2x in a row would be taken off the group list while active members would be given a preference over long inactive members, the last minute habitual dropouts and no-shows.
**FINALLY:** For every image you post, please comment on at least one other image, no matter if you think you are qualified to comment or not. You can always give some constructive comments with regard to Colour, Tone, Light, Action, Pattern, Balance, Composition, Visual and Emotional appeal of the image/s. This group is about sharing and learning from each other.”

For many, many years, the NIK Collection of photo editing tools has been the coveted add-on of choice for many photographers. To know the story of the NIK Collection is to know happiness, angst, celebration, and innovation. But more of that at the meeting!
I will spend a couple of hours going through the most useful tools in the NIK Collection and showing how I use them in my editing workflow. If you aspire to elevate your editing skills and produce better-edited images, this set of tools is worth a look!
