The future of our work starts with a conversation
The future of our work starts with a conversation
*«The creative and UX industry is changing fast. Roles are shifting, tools are evolving, expectations are rising, and many people are asking what their skills will be worth in the future.»* **This evening is not a classic Last Thursday Talk.** UX Schweiz and Syndicom invite the community to **a workshop and open exchange** for people working in UX, design, research, strategy, communication and related creative fields. The focus is especially on people at the beginning of their careers, people in transition, and everyone currently asking: **What does the future of our work actually look like?** We want to create a space for hopes, concerns, changing roles, useful skills, new tools, AI, career paths and possible forms of support within the community. Uncertainty is allowed, but we do not want to stay stuck in fear. The evening starts with a short input by **[Pascal Geronimi](https://www.linkedin.com/in/pascal-geronimi-5112b324/).** After that, we will work in small groups: collecting thoughts, clustering topics, discussing what matters most, and sharing key insights. Together, we want to explore: * What currently gives us hope? * What feels uncertain or worrying? * How are roles, tools and expectations changing? * Which skills and mindsets might become more important? * What kind of support could UX Schweiz, Syndicom or the wider community offer? **This is an experimental format.** Because this is a workshop-style event, **places are limited**. Please only register if you are quite sure you can attend. If your plans change, please cancel your RSVP so someone else can join. **Format** * Short intro input * Small-group exchange * Shared takeaways in the plenum * Optional informal drinks afterwards nearby **A small question before you come** You do not need to prepare anything. But take a moment to think about this: ***When you think about the future of your work: what gives you hope, and what makes you unsure?*** **Practical information** • The event will be held in English. • The number of participants is limited. • Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.
Swiss PSUG 06/2026
Swiss PSUG 06/2026
Dear Microsoft Swiss PSUG, We have planned another exciting event. **Place & Language:** Place: Isolutions AG, The Circle 38, 8058 Zürich (Hybrid with Teams) Language: EN **Session 1: PowerShell Notebooks in Practice: Real‑World Use Cases** Description: PowerShell Notebooks can significantly enhance how we build and operate tools. This session showcases practical, real‑world scenarios—including onboarding and offboarding workflows, pipeline integration, diagnostic data collection, and development against both on‑prem and cloud services. With plenty of demos, you’ll see how notebooks can improve productivity and clarity across the entire lifecycle. Speaker: [MVP David Sass](https://www.linkedin.com/in/sassdawe/ "https://www.linkedin.com/in/sassdawe/") **Session 2: Updating isn’t the hard part — Knowing What changed Is** Description: PowerShell modules evolve constantly — features change, bugs are fixed, and behavior shifts. While updating a module is easy, understanding the impact of updates is not. Outdated modules risk lost functionality, while rushed updates can introduce subtle breaking changes. In this demo-focused session, we explore a practical approach to tracking meaningful module changes without notification overload. Using the PackageUpdateInfo module, we show how to detect and report relevant differences between versions. Speaker: [David Bellstedt](https://www.linkedin.com/in/andreasbellstedt/ "https://www.linkedin.com/in/andreasbellstedt/") **Agenda:** 17:00 Welcome 17:30 Session 1 18:15 Session 2 19:00 Networking and Beer 20:00 End of Event
Operator Coffee
Operator Coffee
A small in-person breakfast for founders and operators in Zürich to talk about what they are building, running, and figuring out right now. The idea is simple: coffee, breakfast, and one proper conversation with people who are building or running businesses here. This is not a panel, not a pitch event, and not formal networking. No one is presenting. No one is selling from the front of the room. It is just a small group conversation around what people are actually working through right now. We’ll keep the format simple: * quick introductions * what you are working on right now * one shared question for the table * open conversation over coffee and breakfast The group is intentionally small so everyone can actually speak and get to know each other. Everyone pays for their own coffee/breakfast. Good fit if you are a founder, operator, or someone actively building/running a business in Zürich and you prefer real conversations over pitching. Looking forward to meeting all of you as always. Feel free to message me on meetup if you can't find me, I'll respond quickly.

August 26\. September 31\. Oktober 28\. November 19\. Dezember

Want **more info** than our Summary above? Then please read below: . . . . . **WHY?** we ❤️ **uniting people** and building **community** while having **fun!** We truly believe that **fun meaningful offline connections** to new & existing friends makes us truly happy and healthy! Our community meets **every 2 Fridays** in a **homey,** caring and **welcoming** "come as you are" environment ! . **WHAT is this event?** We are not a "party or drinks" meetup, nor we follow a "forced" process and agenda. Instead, we are a **Connection Community** inspired by Greek village cafes and Swiss Stammtisch — a welcoming environment where neighbours gathered as equals to share stories and build lasting friendships. We meet in a "**fixed-rhythm**" every 2 Fridays in a **homey** & **lovingly-hosted space** so you can connect with new and familiar faces. We provide **several optional activities** to help you **connect** with others—so you're free to **explore what resonates** with you! Together these activities create a unique **Connection** **Event.** . . . . **TIPS on how to connect:** * **Look out for a good smile/vibe** in a person/group of 2-3 people and say "Hi my name is xxx, can I join?". * **Try something different** (person, game, table, activity) often until you find **fun** **quality connection.** We have a lot of activities * **Ask** **Support:** we understand going out to meet friends can be a stretch. We make this easy with a fun and safe event. Also you can ask for help from our clearly communicated (see photos of this event) "**People Connectors**" who can help you discreetly to connect with others * **Invest time**(not quickly just come by) as friendships are an investment * **Come back**: big turnaround, people come randomly at each event, so you never know who you ll meet . . **.** **Some final words:** * **Bravo** **to you** for the courage to go out to meet new people! We know **everyone is unique** \- thats why we got a big new\-comer area\, 4 co\-hosts welcoming and connecting you\, and many activities for you to **choose** from to find what **suits you**! * **Weather?** Event takes place rain or shine, with indoors rooms and outdoors area that is ultra rain-protected * **Coming late?** no problem, we got many people until closing at 00:00 so come whenever! * **Too many attendees?** no problem, we got the space! Also as per the "what" above: you define what makes the event meaningful for you! Furthermore, the co-organisers have one goal: to say hi and introduce you to the event and people (if you want to please ask)! Finally remember: you dont have to talk to everyone, focus in a few people! Less is more! If you dont know where to start look for a good smile or an activity more matching to you. From there keep on trying people and activities.. * **Why so many options above for connection?** We always have: a first-timer area, Fun social games, Mindful games, ice-breaker questions or simply just talk freely to anyone. Often we add: Speed-friending and a Music jam. We believe **you are unique** and each of us prefers different ways of connection. Also we want to provide an opportunity for everyone to try something new * **Easy and Safe:** We have the whole location reserved for us so its safe to open up and meet new friends (unlike bars in Zürich where people find it strange if strangers talk to them). Christos and volunteers will also help with connection. Read more info below. * **Christos** (see [PHOTO](https://photos.app.goo.gl/pdtVaVGCyDEJ28uE8)) and our co-organisers will be wearing name budges and will aim to **welcome** **everyone.** * more info via our **[LINKS](http://linktr.ee/connectionspace)** * Yes YOU are **good** & **courageous** for looking for new fun connections! * Everyone is in same situation and you ll be surprised how **friendly people** are ❤️ * Come **early** though **later** also ok as many people there **until 00:00** * **It works**! We heard of many new friendships, living together and even getting a new job * **Mindful Connection Games:** from [The School of Life](https://www.theschooloflife.com/shop/?_product_type=games-card-sets) available: Confessions Game, The Friendship Game, Connection Game, The Loser Game, Games for grown-ups and three sets of "100 questions" (Conversation Toolkit & Careers & Relationships) * **Fun Social Games:** bring your own **board/card games** or choose from: Cards against humanity, Exploding Kittens, Codenames, Debatable, Sotally Tober, Taboo, Mafia, Uno, Monopoly and more. . . . . ``` Disclaimer & participation terms (Connection Space): By registering for and/or attending this event (“Event”), you agree: Registration required. From the moment sin entered the world, death began. Adam and Eve were not stricken dead immediately, but the process by which none of us lives forever in health and wholeness in these earthly bodies started its inexorable march to the inevitable end—death. The Bible makes it clear that by one man’s sin, death came to all mankind, but that by the obedience of One Perfect Man, Jesus, many are made righteous (Romans 5:19). F.F. Bosworth recognized this truth; he also would have people consider that the God Who provided for our greatest need—salvation from eternal death—would also provide healing for the lesser, but still great needs, of health and healing from sickness, disease, and the consequences of sin that we encounter before we die. Join us as we examine the case for biblical healing in the book first published in 1924, ***Christ The Healer*. We meet at True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 6:30 pm.** Get your tickets on [EventBrite](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/christ-the-healer-columbus-ohio-tickets-1989133215995)!
