**Josep Maria Pujol** will be leading a hands\-on workshop where we crack open the "black box" of physics engines and build real\-time simulations from scratch — no magic\, just math and intuition\.\| **Josep Maria Pujol - Software Engineer, Unity** We start with the fundamentals — position, velocity, acceleration, and time stepping — building an intuitive sense of how objects move. Next, we tackle collisions, impulse response, and simple rigid body simulation, seeing how objects bounce, collide, and respond to forces in real time. Finally, we explore constraints and stability with Position-Based Dynamics (PBD) and Extended PBD (XPBD), also giving a glimpse into how other more complex physics systems work. Through hands-on exercises, you'll experiment in the Unity Editor, tweaking parameters and instantly visualising the effects — turning abstract physics concepts into interactive intuition and building transferable skills for working with physics engines in games. Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at our Copenhagen Shut Up & Write! sessions. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, résumé, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: - 15 minutes of hellos and getting settled; maybe some quick intros. - Then, the timer starts! : writing for 1 hour. - After the hour is up... chat / take off / keep writing, if you're on a roll. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens once the hour of writing is complete. Writing can be very solitary... connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure.
