See you there every Thursday! Powered by IN YOUR FACE Comedy 🌟 [Check Us Out!](https://instragram.com/inyourfacecomedy/) **Tickets at:** [https://eventfrog.ch/comedybrew](https://eventfrog.ch/comedybrew) **Frequently Asked Questions** * ***Is the show really in English?*** Absolutely. Every set is performed in English by a mix of Swiss-based and international comics, so no Swiss-German skills required. * ***What’s a “Comedy Open Mic”?*** It’s the testing ground for jokes. Pros road-test fresh material and brave newcomers grab their first five minutes. Expect some gems, some flops—and the fun of seeing comedy born in real time. * ***Will it be funny?*** Most of the time, yes! An open mic is a roller-coaster: seasoned acts, new voices, and the occasional glorious train-wreck. It’s all part of the charm. * ***Can I perform too?*** Yes - you need to book a spot - find out more about how to do it here: [https://inyourfacecomedy.ch/perform/](https://inyourfacecomedy.ch/perform/). * ***Do I need to buy tickets in advance?*** Please do. We’re usually running around before the show and door sales slow things down. If you’re stuck, we’ll try, but no promises. Link to tickets as at [https://inyourfacecomedy.ch/comedybrew/](https://inyourfacecomedy.ch/comedybrew/) * ***How does seating work?*** First come, first served so grab a drink, snag a seat, and settle in. * ***Is food available at the bar?*** ROBIN’s serves drinks only. For a pre-show bite, try **Restaurant Johanniter** (classic Swiss) or **Holy Cow!** across the street for burgers. * ***Will the comedians pick on me?*** We chat with the crowd for laughs, not humiliation. Friendly banter only - you’re safe. * ***How long is the show?*** Doors open 7:30pm, show starts \~7:50pm with a 15 min break in the middle ending around 10pm. Enough time for the last trams home... * ***Age limit?*** All ages welcome of course 16+ recommended (adult themes, spicy language).

Poetry night
Poetry night
Welcome to a cozy evening of poetry, prose, and creative expression. As we enter the Spring season, let’s gather in an intimate circle of spoken word and shared presence. Together, we’ll venture into imaginal worlds through metaphors rising from the deepest wells of our being. Space is limited to 10 participants (with possible exceptions). The evening will be hosted in English, but you are warmly invited to share in German or in your native language. If you feel inspired, you may even embody your poetry through movement. This event is open to everyone—from beginners to seasoned poets. You are welcome to read your own work, or to share a poem or piece of writing that has moved or inspired you. This is an inclusive, non-judgmental, and free gathering (donations are welcome but entirely optional). It is made possible by kind souls who value authentic connection—to oneself, to others (including the more-than-human world), and to the invisible realms that poetry so beautifully reveals. It is an invitation to step gently beyond comfort, to embrace vulnerability, and to be witnessed in the sacred unfolding of your voice. Tea may be available—please bring your own cup.
Grief Circle — Remembering Love, From Darkness to Light
Grief Circle — Remembering Love, From Darkness to Light
**A sacred space to honor sorrow, release pain, and remember love** At Yanantin Tribe, we open grief circles where heart, body, and spirit can meet. Inspired by ancestral traditions, we gather in community to carry what was never meant to be held alone. Here, darkness and light are both welcome — grief is not fixed or rushed, but witnessed with care. **Tickets & Support** This grief circle is offered freely as a community space. If you wish to support the continuation of these circles, you can choose the Support Ticket — CHF 25 via Eventfrog. ️Tickets & details: [https://eventfrog.ch/en/p/health-spirituality/health-wellbeing/grief-circle-remembering-love-from-darkness-to-light-7417591177581484939.html](https://eventfrog.ch/en/p/health-spirituality/health-wellbeing/grief-circle-remembering-love-from-darkness-to-light-7417591177581484939.html) A grief ritual is a communal gathering where sorrow is given space and form. We welcome all expressions of grief: personal loss, heartbreak, ancestral wounds, collective pain, or a quiet heaviness without a clear name. Through music, song, rhythm, movement, silence, and guided ritual, grief softens and reveals the love beneath it. **Bring: comfortable clothes, water bottle and your own cup for tea, curiosity** **The experience** * Enter a safe, held circle where all emotions are welcome * You may share, move, cry, sing, or remain silent — no pressure to speak * Place a personal item, photo, or symbol on a shared altar (optional) * Move through ritual practices that allow grief to be witnessed and released * Close with grounding and gentle integration so you leave supported **Why this circle matters** * Release unspoken or long-held grief * Be held without advice or fixing * Honor both sorrow and love * Heal personal, ancestral, and collective layers * **Practical info** * Held every two weeks on Sundays * Free to attend as a community offering * Donations welcome to support the continuation of these circles (entirely optional) * Bring: a token, photo, or personal item for the altar (optional) * Wear: comfortable clothing * Note: if you are in acute crisis or experiencing significant mental health challenges, please inform us so we can support you best * Impressions of past events: [https://yanantintribe.com/events-gallery/](https://yanantintribe.com/events-gallery/) **Additional support** András offers 1:1 grief support, death & dying accompaniment, and end-of-life presence alongside this community work: [https://psysoul.com/death-grief-sessions](https://psysoul.com/death-grief-sessions) This is not therapy. It is a facilitated ritual space rooted in consent, presence, and care. Come exactly as you are. You do not have to carry everything alone. **Personal Support & 1:1 Work with András** If you’re going through a period of transition, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, I offer **free 30-min Exploration Calls** to help you gain clarity and see if deeper 1:1 work is right for you. **Book here:** [https://calendly.com/andraskapros/psysoul-exploration-call](https://calendly.com/andraskapros/psysoul-exploration-call) Together, we remember love — and gently move from darkness to light. Speak Easy (Storytelling)
Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!
