Welcome to the TKG Manga Drawing Foundation Course! This is for young to not-so-young aspiring artists across a number of ages who wants to try manga drawing in a structured and guided face to face environment. We have 4 categories: A.9-11 years. They say the best manga talents start doodling at 4-7 years. This is the next best thing. Art in school is boring. You want to be better than your art teacher. This is it. B. 12-18 years. Some of the best years for learning manga drawing early. Be mindful that this is not your usual school CCA. It is lit. C. 19-28 years. You have decided to learn drawing at a more serious level. You like manga. You want to meet people of similar interest and who are equally serious about it. This is gonna be awesome. D. 29-45 years. You have sort of put this off for some time and you decided that this is time to revisit this hobby again for whatever reason. You want to be professional while you still can because some damn 9 year old is starting on the dream you want and you are just salty. It could also be the last opportunity you can live your mangaka dream and you want to take the plunge. YOLO. Classes are usually conducted on Saturdays or Sundays in 2 hours blocks from 2 pm onwards. **For ages 10 and above.** Krav Maga is a self defense system employed by military and law enforcement around the world (including Singapore) due to its effectiveness. **For ages 8 and above.** These 3 traditional martial art forms will be taught during the 2 hour class: * Kalaripayattu * Silambattam * Adimurai **About Kalaripayattu** Thought to be one of the most ancient martial arts in recorded history, Kalaripayattu is derived from two words, “Kalari” signifying battlefield or arena and “payattu” which translates to the words ‘practice’ and ‘exercise’. **About Silambattam** Hailing from the region of Tamil Nadu (India) where it emerged around 1000 BCE, Silamabattam is a popular variant of weapon-based martial arts which is performed with the aid of specific weapons, primarily Rattan staffs, short sticks, deer horns and swords. **About Adimurai** Adimurai is a generic term applied for the indigenous martial arts of the Indian/Tamilian archipelago. Adimurai in general refers to the sport of using techniques derived from Indian and Tamil martial-arts. It uses kicks and boxing-mannered punches to defeat an opponent in ways that are analogous to standard present-day boxing. **For ages 13 and above.** Juggernaut Fight Club isn't your typical boxing gym; It's located within a sheltered carpark of a building in Chinatown, which means ample space for you to train. In fact, it's one of the largest fighting gyms in Singapore, and houses everything you need for all-rounded mixed martial arts (MMA) training, including an MMA cage, competition-sized boxing ring, punching bag stations and more. Absolute Archery (Singapore) was inaugurated in 2020, aiming to provide training venue, competitive coaching, fun shoot events and a place for the community bring people together to advocate and support each other in pursuing the sports. **For ages 13 and above.** This class is designed to train those who wish to be able to able to defend themselves as a modern day warrior. The class is exciting and brutally effective. Practitioners will learn how to fight seamlessly from stand up to the ground, using a mix of street style striking and kicking, takedowns, to ground grappling, even against a knife being drawn while on the ground. Whether it be one attacker or multiple attackers, participants will learn how to use relative positioning and the environment to defend and create the opportunity to escape. What if your attacker was to draw a knife or worst, a machete? You will learn to use street style weapons like knife, machete or stick to defend yourself, or improvised weapons like bags, chairs, umbrellas, bottles, hammers etc. No pre-requisites needed but generally an interest in martial arts. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure.
