You've got lots of friends to hang out with at the arcade, the gelateria, and the futbol fields. School either rules or drools, depending on how much of a nerd you are. Oh, and all your parents work for the Dali Theatre-Museum and Mausoleum, by far the most important building in town. They're all talking about The Persistence of Memory (the famous painting with the melting clocks), and how exciting it is that for the first time ever, it's coming home to be displayed. But you and your friends notice something else, when you pull up together on your bikes: all the clocks in town are wrong. All showing different times, all going at different speeds, and all... slowly... melting. Is life imitating art? Or is something weirder going on? You will select a premade character based on a teen trope. I'll bring more sheets than people so you can choose which you like best. Come see a group of nerdy bards perform Roll with It, a show inspired by the popular fantasy roleplaying game, Dungeons & Dragons!! We will be turning an audience member's everyday story into a magical, nerdy, and epic adventure, improvised before your very eyes! This will be an improvised fantasy show suitable for ancient adventurers and total newbies alike, so if you've never played a role playing game before, thou shalt not fret! We will teach you the hallowed Ways of the Nerd, and have some chaotic fun along the way. Hurling rotten tomatoes is discouraged.
