Hi everyone, In this month's walk, we will be visiting the scenic Bukit Batok Town Park, which was created from a disused granite quarry. Having a resemblance to the granite rock formations in Guilin, China, this park is also known as Little Guilin or Xiao Guilin (Chinese: 小桂林). For this walk, we'll set off at 9.30am (be there at least 10 minutes earlier for attendance-taking). We aim to complete the walk within 90 minutes (less than 5km), and we'll have lunch together at West Mall. This is a rain-or-shine event; the itinerary may be changed if there is a thunderstorm. **For ages 17 and above.** There are two types of waltzes that are performed in most ballrooms - the Slow Waltz and the Viennese Waltz. The classical Viennese Waltz is a quick ballroom dance that involves the dancers swirling around the whole dance floor, seemingly without touching the ground. The slightly easier Slow Waltz is a favourite dance among beginners and social dancers.
