[Hawker](https://www.hawker.to/) is perhaps the most innovative vegan restaurant in Toronto. Drawing inspiration from one of the oldest vegetarian traditions, several of their dishes fuse Indian influences with modern sensibilities. Take their biryani, for example, spiked with smoked poblano and lavender. Other dishes reflect the global experiences of the chefs. It's fine dining standards with casual prices. If there are many people on the waitlist and it's at least 5 days before the event, we may arrange another table. **Payment** * The $5 event fee is a deposit. It will be refunded when you show up. * After signing up for the event, you have 24 hours to e-transfer the fee to globaltorontoeats@gmail.com * If you're on the waitlist, you don't have to pay the deposit until a space opens up.
