Intellectual Property Protection Guidelines for Entering the Middle East Market
Intellectual Property Protection Guidelines for Entering the Middle East Market
Given the development potential of the Middle East market, an increasing number of Hong Kong enterprises are turning their attention to this region that blends tradition and modernity. As the Middle East comprises countries with diverse legal systems, religious cultures, and institutional frameworks, understanding the current conditions of local markets and intellectual property (IP) protection requirements is crucial for a successful market entry. In this seminar, an expert will provide an overview of the business environment and current IP systems in the Middle East (such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar). The seminar will also cover key application practices and dispute resolution mechanisms, with a view to assisting SMEs in expanding into the region steadily and sustainably. Journey Home
Journey Home
"We're all just walking each other home." \~ Ram Dass There may be a time when you feel a calling from within. An inner voice that's asking you to pause, and listen. You've kept yourself so busy that it can be easy to ignore. And yet, that voice inside continues to get louder and louder. Where is that coming from? Why now? Perhaps it's time to peer into your inner world. A time to journey home. It can seem scary at first to slow down and reconnect with yourself. It may be hard to put into words exactly what is happening inside of you. This is why we created this session; to provide a bridge that will safely allow you to go inside, see what's going on, and make some sense of it all. This journey home relies on aspects of forest therapy, guided imagery and music therapy to “come home.” Jerome, your certified Forest Therapy guide, will settle and ground you to prepare you for the journey ahead. Allow Mother Nature's nurturing spirit to accompany you as you listen to carefully curated music that places you in your own story. Vivian, a fellow of the Association of Music and Imagery and qualified Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music practitioner, walks you home to yourself. She will ensure safe passage, and help you to narrate the story of images that arise from beneath your consciousness. Art is then used to express and process what unfolded during your inward adventure. Vivian will maintain a safe container for self-exploration, ensure everyone leaves emotionally intact, and with deeper insight into your heart's space. This is a journey your soul has been yearning for. Listen to the calling, journey home. **Location**: Sacred Space Therapy and Wellness Studio \| Lai Chi Kok **Date**: 21.05.26 **Time**: 7 - 8:30 PM Small group, to keep the space intimate and comfortable.

Men's Group meetup
Men's Group meetup
**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.** How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently? Then we will go into a topic discussion. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS** \*\*THERE WILL BE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR NO-SHOWS. IF YOU RSVP TO A MEETING AND FAIL TO SHOW UP WITHOUT NOTICE, YOU'LL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP. THIS IS TO PRESERVE THE INTEGRITY OF THE GROUP\*\* 1. Confidentiality - EVERYTHING that is shared NEVER leaves this space so that this space remains safe and sacred. There is a zero tolerance policy for this. If a man is in violation of this, they will be permanently removed from the group. 2. Non-Judgement - we respect and honor every man’s truth so that we may receive the same from others. While we may not agree on everything, we commit to respecting every man’s perspectives and engaging in honorable discussion with one another. 3. Be committed - honor your commitment to this group and to yourself. If you attend a meeting, please commit yourself fully to the meeting. Also be committed to your own journey. When we fail, we own it & clean it up. 4. Speak from the heart - this is NOT a space to “look good”, have the “right” answers, and have it all together. Relax and know you are not alone. Be exactly who you are within the safety of this space. 5. Be supportive - This means always willing to provide encouragement to your fellow men, encourage action and momentum in each other’s lives.. Be willing to challenge each other. Be willing to hold each other accountable. 6. Participation - what you receive from this community will be a reflection of what you put into it. Period. We ask that you share your perspectives, reflect on others, and give/receive support when and where it’s needed.

Break Up With What Broke You, Columbus, Ohio
Break Up With What Broke You, Columbus, Ohio
On a list of "My Favorite Things", few people would put a "break up" in their top ten. More often, these words evoke feelings of shame, embarrassment, poor choices, and bad or sad endings. Before the new and beautiful can be built, the old, broken, and unnecessary must be cleared away. This process can be painful, but it is good, needful, and can produce wonderful results when done wisely and well. How does one break free from anxiety, comparison, or shame? Christian Bevere points people to the freedom God desires for His children, as well as giving practical ideas on how to shed both unhealthy baggage and the lies that seek to leave us anchored to past failure. Drawing from the Bible, ***Break Up With What Broke You*** clearly shows that what Satan would seek to use for evil, God uses for good and to accomplish His purposes. Join us **Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:30 pm**, when we gather at **True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center, Columbus**. We'd love to see you there!
