This class provides a trauma sensitive yoga approach for those of us living with chronic conditions/illnesses such as stroke, long covid, cancer, arthritis, parkinson’s disease, disabilities, fibromyalgia, injuries, aging, muscular sclerosis, balance issues, pain, knee or hip replacements, and for those of us who prefer, or our bodies have chosen to not so easily transition to and from the floor, to experience yoga. **Meet Your Guide:**
Sherry Steine is a Certified Aromatherapist through the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), a Certified Trauma-Informed Aromatherapist, and a dedicated member of both NAHA and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). Her work centers on the thoughtful integration of aromatherapy, emotional regulation, and nervous system support — blending clinical insight with creativity to honor the ways scent, color, and breath can gently support healing and self-awareness.
Sherry is also the author of *I Settle: A Journal of Aromatherapy & Color Breathing Rituals for Inner Peace*, a reflective journal designed to help readers cultivate calm through intentional scent rituals and color-based breathing practices.

This therapeutic yin yoga class is specifically designed to help you connect your mind with your body, find your edges, soften your muscles to take the stretch deeper and into your connective tissues and fascia, and become more comfortable with stillness. Whether you just feel inflexible, are recuperating from an injury or procedure, or live with a chronic condition this class will meet you where you are and offer just the right postures to cultivate a greater sense of openness in your mind, body, and spirit.
Each posture is held for 3-5 minutes with support from props like blocks, bolsters, blankets, and more. You'll also learn visualization, meditation, and breath practices that will help you find more comfort in your discomfort on and off the mat.

This will be a hands-on foraging walk & wild pesto making adventure with Annie-Sophie from the Green Farmacy.
Come explore & nibble greens around the land while learning identification and benefits of spring edibles we'll harvest to make wild herbal pesto together!

There is an abundance of wild, free food, that doubles as medicine, growing all around us! In this hands-on workshop, we will get to know early spring edible plants that can be found growing locally. We'll discuss how to identify them as well as how to work with them for food and/or medicine.
We will take a walk around the land focusing on wild edible & medicinal plants that emerge in early spring.
As we nibble our way around, we will be harvesting the plants we meet to make & taste a wild pesto together! Some wild spring edibles we may meet and explore include:

Singing Bowl Sound Bath Meditation
Sit back and relax as Tibetan & crystal bowls (and other instruments) help bring you back into alignment thru sacred sound therapy. This is a great way to clear yourself and recharge for the week ahead. For those interested, it can also assist in achieving deeper stages of meditation.

The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.
So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that.
