Korfball is a dynamic, no contact, mixed gender team sport. It pulls together aspects of netball, handball and basketball to form an unique and inclusive game. We will do some exercises, practice, play some games and have fun! :) Everyone is welcome to training, no experience required. Don't be misled by the low sign ups, our regulars don't use meet-up. **Thursday Night Football is back!** Our decade-long tradition of playing Thursday night games continues at **Turnhalle Lind Nord** in Winterthur! Open to all skill levels, newcomers, as well as regular players. The cost will be CHF 10 per game or there is the option to pay for the whole year. The attendance is limited to 12 players, if the meetup list is full then please join the waitlist as we regularly have people dropping out the day of the event. **Parking** There is no parking at Lind Nord, however there is paid parking at Museumplatz 3 or Kreuzstrasse 13, both of which are about 2 min walking distance **No-shows** We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play, and that means dropping out if you know that you won't play. You are responsible for keeping your RSVP up-to-date, not the organisers. Our no-show rules: * -No-shows will pay the regular fee for that game (even if they already paid for the season) plus the fees for those that were on the waitlist (so x times the regular fee). This way, the people in the waitlist will play a future game for free, as a small consolation present. * -No-shows might loose their place to those in the waitlist the next time they sign up when there is a waitlist * -No-show cutoff time is 2 hours before event start, to give others enough time to plan in advance. So even if you cancel after 18:30, if someone could not play because of you, you are still considered a no-show **IMPORTANT:** If its your first time please also send me a message for more details. If I do not hear from you to confirm this, you might be taken off the confirmed list to make room for regulars & prevent no-shows. I'm really excited to announce our next Meet Up event. It will take place at Core studio in Rennweg Rennweg 12, 8001 Zurich. The is dedicated to everyone who likes the idea of exercising with the music, dancing and learning a bit of ballet. Find out how to set up the a great posture, learn about body conditioning as well as mind & body connection. Unlike at most general adult ballet classes we will show you how exercise with the precision and focus, getting great results. A great class for those who already have little knowledge of ballet or other forms of dance. Our classic Ballet Body Sculpture workout class, including mat exercises, ballet barre, and centre practice. Designed to sculpt and tone a perfect ballet body, as well as stretch, lengthen, and align all muscles for a great posture. You will need to bring a smile, some water and wear comfortable exercise cloths. The class will be 60 minutes which should be more than enough to get those muscles warmed up and you posturised ready for the next session. Players are accepted into the session based on skill suitability. This session is for experienced players looking for quality games. Play is focused on doubles with a competitive mindset and consistent rallies. You should be comfortable smashing, return smashes and keeping up a moderate tempo throughout the session. New players and those who are new to badminton are welcome to join the PM Session (Open Level Play). Payment can be made via TWINT after the session.
