You just haven’t been able to follow through. You start things, lose momentum and find yourself starting over again. You’re not alone.
Most people get support at the beginning. And applause at the end. But the part that actually matters? The middle. The quiet, repetitive, sometimes frustrating part where nothing feels exciting, and everything depends on showing up. **That’s where we are.**
At NoCrastination, we don’t meet for hype. We meet to **show up and finish something, together.** Not perfectly. Not magically. Just consistently.
**What this really is**
This is a space for people who are:
* building something
* figuring things out
* or simply trying to stay on track
**without doing it alone**
You don’t need to be an entrepreneur. You just need something you want to move forward.
**What happens here**
You bring something you’ve been putting off. We sit down together. We focus. And you leave with something done. That’s it. And that’s everything.
**Why people keep coming back**
* “I finally follow through on what I plan”
* “I leave with real progress every time”
**Time and Location**
🕐 **Time:** 9:30 AM – 12:30 NOON
💻 **Bring:** Your laptop, journal, or anything you’ve been avoiding
**Hosted by**: NoCrastination. See you across from the ground floor bar ✨ you will see us sitting at the long table with our laptops
**Friendly reminder:** As we are guests of the venue, outside food and beverages are not permitted. We kindly ask everyone to support the venue by ordering food or drinks during the day.
**Please arrive on time or during the break windows to avoid interrupting the focus sessions** 😊
**Focus schedule:**
9:30 AM – 10:20 AM → Focus Block 1
10:35 AM – 11:20 AM → Focus Block 2
11:35 AM – 12:25 PM → Focus Block 3
**If you expect to arrive late, please come during one of these break windows:**
10:20 AM – 10:35 AM
11:20 AM – 11:35 AM
12:25 PM – 1:00 PM for Lunch + Pitch
Simple structure. Real progress.
**This is for you if:**
* You keep starting but don’t finish
* You feel stuck working alone
* You want structure — without pressure
* You want to express yourself AND move forward
**What you’ll get**
Not motivation. Not a productivity hack.
**You’ll get: ONE THING DONE.**
And then you come back, and do it again.
**This is how it starts**
You don’t need to commit to anything big. Just come once. Pick one thing.
Finish it. We’ll be there. As we’re growing and improving the experience, we’re moving to a more structured system. Registration is part of participating.

🌈 Queer Sundowner auf der Terrasse des Wien Museums
For English scroll down.
Adresse
Wien Museum Karlsplatz
Karlsplatz 8, 1040 Wien
\-\-\-
We are meeting for a relaxed sundowner on the terrace of the Wien Museum, with a view over Karlsplatz and hopefully some evening sun.
The Wien Museum is open longer on Thursdays. The permanent exhibition "Vienna. My History" is free and can be visited without a ticket. If you like, you can visit the museum before or during the evening, but this event is mainly a casual get-together rather than a guided museum visit.
A lovely detail: the Wien Museum is queer-led. This evening is also a relaxed chance to meet new people, especially if you are coming alone or do not know anyone yet.
Meeting point
6:30 PM upstairs at the terrace / café bar "& töchter" inside the Wien Museum.
Good to know
\- The permanent exhibition is free to visit\.
\- Food and drinks are self\-paid\.
\- New people are very welcome\. If you come alone\, just come to the meeting point \- we will help you connect with the group\.
\- In case of very bad weather or if the terrace is unexpectedly closed\, we will find a suitable alternative in the building or nearby\.
Mixed indoor volleyball
We play in a friendly atmosphere with mixed teams of intermediate and advanced players. If you are unable to attend, please cancel 48 hours before the game starts so others can join. Thank you for your understanding.
Badminton for Intermediate Players (Thu 19.00h-21.00h) U3 Kendlerstraße
Hey Badminton Enthusiasts!
**This meet-up is only for intermediate players and up!**
Everyone is welcome to join our large weekly events, test their skills and have some fun together! However, ***this event is for the people that want to push their skill forward and would like to play during the week as well.***
The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€:
*If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available
- you can also pay via card on the spot
We are meeting at about 18.55 pm near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you.
If you are just passing through town and do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets, either from the club or from us. Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below!
If you are joining our events for the first time, **WELCOME!** We are an open and friendly group and we are sure you will develop connections with the people in our community in no time!
Without further ado - let's play some (intermediate) badminton and have fun together!

Stargazing at Melk
Dear all,
We will do the next stargazing trip to Melk.
**Meeting point:** 18:45 at Westbahnhof in front of Anker.
Please show up on time. We will use this time to get to know each other and make sure everyone is comfortable with the group.
**Departure:** CJX5 from Westbahnhof, departing at 19:18.
**Return:** CJX5 from Melk Bahnhof, departing at 23:40.
**Tickets:** \~45 Euros round-trip (without Vorteilscard).
**What to expect:** We will arrive in Melk \~20:20, walk for \~1 hour away from the urban area, cross the Danube, and find a good spot. Depending on conditions and preferences, plans may get updated on the spot. If the weather is on our side, we may see the Milky Way and a moonrise.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Please **pack more layers** than you think would be necessary.
2. A **red-light headlight** is highly recommended for navigation in the dark to protect our night vision.
3. **Insect repellent spray**.
4. A **blanket** to make yourself comfortable.
SAFETY AND LOGISTICS:
I will take a **group picture** before boarding the train, and do **location sharing** for the entire time that we are outdoors. A link to the WhatsApp group will be shared with the attending members only on the day of the trip.
Please note that I am not a tour guide and **you are responsible for your own safety and well-being** during the trip.
Since stargazing is highly weather-dependent, **the trip may be canceled up to 4 hours before departure**, so please check then for final confirmation.
If you are interested in an Einfach-Raus ticket, please let me know, and then we can coordinate a group purchase.
Otherwise, you are responsible for getting your own tickets.
Updates will be posted under the comments.
Please keep your RSVP’s up to date.
I’m looking forward to a starry trip!

The Psychology and Personal Growth Circle: Thinking, Fast and Slow
Welcome to our cozy **The Psychology and Personal Growth Circle** which is part of the Social Book Club!
We will meet to discuss the book “**Thinking, Fast and Slow**" (499 pages) written by Daniel Kahneman.
The idea is to connect with like minded readers that love to grow and get to know themselves better through reading and especially applying knowledge from books.
We meet up once a month and talk about our progress applying knowledge from a certain book and our experience.
The event will take place at the volunteer organisation **MUT**.
It is an organisation to supports humans, animals and the environment especially in Vienna.
MUT or the Social Book Club look forward to some donation to cover the cost of this event.
If you would like to help, please bring some cash with you.
Book Description:
In the highly anticipated *Thinking, Fast and Slow*, Kahneman takes us on a groundbreaking tour of the mind and explains the two systems that drive the way we think. System 1 is fast, intuitive, and emotional; System 2 is slower, more deliberative, and more logical.
Kahneman exposes the extraordinary capabilities—and also the faults and biases—of fast thinking, and reveals the pervasive influence of intuitive impressions on our thoughts and behavior. The impact of loss aversion and overconfidence on corporate strategies, the difficulties of predicting what will make us happy in the future, the challenges of properly framing risks at work and at home, the profound effect of cognitive biases on everything from playing the stock market to planning the next vacation—each of these can be understood only by knowing how the two systems work together to shape our judgments and decisions.
If anyone would like to hang out **after** the book club discussion, you’re more than welcome to join us! We’ll be having a picnic and just relaxing afterward.
All the best
Andrea & Ani
Open Dialogue – Discovering Together in Vienna
We will meet in a calm and friendly place ( Parc, Café, Restaurant) to explore together some of Jiddu Krishnamurti’s key questions about awareness, relationship, and freedom.
There will be no teaching, no authority — only open dialogue and attentive listening.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are familiar with Jiddu Krishnamurti or simply curious about life and self-understanding.
We’ll start with an open conversation around a theme such as “Listening without judgment” or “Can thought bring clarity?”
Please bring openness, curiosity, and a readiness to listen — no books or notes needed.
The spirit is not to discuss “what should be,” but to observe together “what is.”
🧺 Picnic with talkin‘ #3 – Let's speedfriend!
We’re hosting a social picnic! 🌞 **Again… but this time with a twist.**
It’s not just about hanging out in the green — we’re also doing a bit of *speed friending*.
Bring a blanket, some snacks, drinks, maybe a game or two, and come meet us (and each other) for a relaxed afternoon.
This is your chance to:
* Mingle with familiar and new faces
* Exchange contacts
* Enjoy easy, casual conversations
* Soak up good vibes and fresh air 🌳
…or just show up and have a good time.

Men's Group meetup
**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.**
How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently?
Then we will go into a topic discussion.
\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-

1. Confidentiality - EVERYTHING that is shared NEVER leaves this space so that this space remains safe and sacred. There is a zero tolerance policy for this. If a man is in violation of this, they will be permanently removed from the group.
2. Non-Judgement - we respect and honor every man’s truth so that we may receive the same from others. While we may not agree on everything, we commit to respecting every man’s perspectives and engaging in honorable discussion with one another.
3. Be committed - honor your commitment to this group and to yourself. If you attend a meeting, please commit yourself fully to the meeting. Also be committed to your own journey. When we fail, we own it & clean it up.
4. Speak from the heart - this is NOT a space to “look good”, have the “right” answers, and have it all together. Relax and know you are not alone. Be exactly who you are within the safety of this space.
5. Be supportive - This means always willing to provide encouragement to your fellow men, encourage action and momentum in each other’s lives.. Be willing to challenge each other. Be willing to hold each other accountable.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
IxDA Chat n Pancakes
You can sleep in on the Sesquicentennial (observed), we’re shifting to the following Friday.
But join the local UX community for a chat and some biscuits to catch up. If you were in CA for Figma Config, tell us all the lines and you can tell me how I can animate an SVG without coding it by hand, and why I’d even want to.
Thanks to the team at Nationwide of supporting the group.
