Cette session du Club Littéraire Parisien (dîner littéraire) se veut un espace de discussion et de débat sur la lecture, notre manière de lire et d’en parler, l’idée qu’on se fait d’un club de lecture. **Deux livres programmés : Thème : La lecture et le club de lecture** **01 – « Sur la lecture « de Marcel Proust (80 pages environ)** « Sur la lecture n'est ni un texte méconnu ni un introuvable. C'est la préface que Proust écrivit en 1905 pour sa traduction de Sésame et les Lys de John Ruskin. Mais ces pages dépassent de si loin l'ouvrage qu'elles introduisent, elles proposent un si bel éloge de la lecture et préparent avec tant de bonheur à la Recherche que nous avons voulu, les délivrant de leur condition de préface, les publier dans leur plénitude. « Hubert Nyssen (Actes Sud) **02 – Une histoire de la lecture » d’Alberto Manguel** « Célébration heureuse de la plus civilisée des passions humaines, cette histoire écrite du côté du plaisir et de la gourmandise est un livre savant qui se lit comme un roman d'aventures. Parti à la recherche des raisons qui ont fait aimer le livre, Alberto Manguel propose un étonnant récit de voyage à travers le temps et l'espace, dont chaque étape lui est occasion de détours, de visites, de réflexions profondes et d'anecdotes réjouissantes. .. » Babelio ***Comme toujours on peut lire l’un ou les deux livres programmés.*** Aussi, vous pouvez réfléchir en amont sur la notion de « club de lecture », vos attentes et vos idées d’y contribuer et d’y participer. Tout sera discuté, débattu, inclus si je le peux, et argumenté de toutes façons. **Et n'oubliez pas !** Partagez, si vous le souhaitez, quelques mots, passages et/ou citations qui vous ont marqués, touchés et qui vous semblent importants à partager avec le groupe et les participants. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
