This 4-week program is designed as an introduction to ceramics and its vast creative potential. Throughout the course, you will learn the fundamental hand-building techniques used to construct ceramic objects, developing skills through practice, experimentation, and repetition. We will work with the **pinch, coil, slab, and hollowing techniques**, creating **4-6 pieces in total**. Some forms will be more demanding, such as **jugs and sculptures,** challenging both technical ability and creative thinking. Alongside building, we will explore **surface decoration**, learning to paint with **underglazes (engobes)** and gaining an introduction to **glazes**. By the end of the course, participants will glaze and finish selected pieces created during the program.
