We're located here in the Cinema (which can be found on the 3rd floor of the Mercury Mall Shopping Centre) on: * **Tuesdays & Thursdays**: From 17:30 to 22:00. * **Saturdays**: From 12:00 to 22:00 🦁 And we're still running every Monday 6pm to 11pm at the Golden Lion Pub too. 🌭☕ There are hot & cold food & drink options available from the cinema at low prices! Supporting Premiere Cinema by buying their food & drink IS supporting Dicing With Life! The cinema has been very generous to us by bringing us into their space & our way of showing our gratitude is by sending some business their way. And their menu is surprisingly cheap! Especially compared to any other cinema. We can lend you everything you need including a pre-generated character. If you want to bring or create your own character, please arrive at 12.40pm and discuss your character with your assigned DM. Please respect their decision in the unlikely event that they say you have to use a pre-generated character. They may have story or rules reasons they can't disclose. Join us at for this Saturday between 11am-2.30pm at Pastures Youth and Sports Centre for a fun and social badminton over four courts. Nearest station is Leytonstone station on central line or Leytonstone High Street on overground. If you drive, you can park on street nearby (free on Saturday). Please make sure to bring your own kit and racket. It is £12 per person for 3.5 hours. We play with quality feather shuttlecocks. RSVP is now open on meetup. If you're looking for a laid back Saturday playing some board games and talking nerd stuff in a pub with some awesome people, this is the meetup for you! If you've designed a game, bring it along and give it a play or just enjoy playing other people's prototypes in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. Our Social Backgammon Group It's always a treat to catch up with our regulars and welcome new players into the mix - whether you’re a seasoned top player or curious about the game and would like to learn, everyone’s welcome. The afternoon offers the perfect blend of friendly competition, laughter, and the occasional lucky double six! Add drinks, food, and easy conversation in this Spoon's pub, and you’ve got the ingredients for a truly relaxed Sunday afternoon.. so come and join us! About Our Backgammon Group Our group started in June 2015 - that’s over 10 years ago! Since then, we’ve held around 500 official backgammon meetups and around 250 off-grid gatherings besides. With almost 2,500 members, we’re the largest backgammon group in the UK. What makes our group special is the warmth, humour, and friendliness everyone brings to the board. We typically meet fortnightly on Sundays, with usually 15 - 25 regular players and new faces each time. Everyone’s welcome. Dinner, Drinks and Playing Time We usually sit for a relaxed group meal around 5.30pm, but you’re free to order food and drinks whenever you wish. RSVP Please RSVP as soon as you can. Bring Your Own Board There's been the odd occassion where people have turned up without a backgammon board so if you have one please bring it along. Hi everyone! Booking is now open for our next badminton session, 11am-1pm on Sunday at Ark All Saints Camberwell 140 Wyndham Road SE5 0UB. The cost is only £12 per person plus £1.62 Meetup booking fee, paid in advance before the start of the session. Bring your racket or lease one for the session for a nominal £2.00, shuttlecocks is provided. The lease rackets are available at the venue, so just make your way down. Please note we don't have enough for everybody just a few. If you damage your racket during the session you get one to use for free. So if you wish to play and don’t yet have a racket make your way down, try and have a couple of nuggets (£2.00) handy because the racket lease fee is not included with the session booking fee. Payment is by PayPal, Debit card, Credit card, Bank transfer, and Cash. Contact the host if you encounter any problem with making payment or wish to pay by other method (Payment by Bank transfer & Cash is £12.00) Direction: The badminton hall is situated at the rear of the school, read on for direction on how to locate the hall. The main entrance to the school is located on Wyndham road, on Wyndham road look for Toulon Street it is on the same side as the school. If you stand facing the school Toulon Street should be to your right. Toulon street lead on to Pitman Street which is where the entrance is located. Use the pedestrian gate to let yourself in, if it is locked use the intercom and somebody should let you in. Please be mindful that we are in a small space and that other members will need to explain rules and focus. As a small group of volunteers, we are very dependent on the good will of our venues to host us for free. It is vitally important that everyone attending LoB buys food and drink to ensure that we can build and maintain those relationships with our venues. During a 'day' phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies, culminating in a player's execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. At 'night' time, players close their eyes and some are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information, spread mischief, or kill.
