And their menu is surprisingly cheap! Especially compared to any other cinema.
Here's some cool examples of some great **offers**:
Buy a large **Popcorn** (it's a huge bucket!) or a large **fizzy drink** & it'll initially cost you Ā£4, BUT, take your bucket or cup back to the bar for a **refill** & the cinema will refill it back up to the top for just Ā£2! šæš„¤
That's half price Popcorn & Pop!
This also applies to **Ice Blasts** too (£5 initially but to refill it's just £3).
There's also Hot Dogs, Nachos, Pick n Mix & many other treats in store too! Check out their menu š
If you have any questions, please ask & let the fun commence! š²

Mafia Game & Social ā Beginner Friendly ā Kings Arms, London Waterloo
**Welcome to UK Mafia!**
*Please note that the Kings Arms pub near Waterloo requires a minimum spend from our group. When ordering drinks, we kindly ask that you place them on the event tab and pay us back. Ask us how to order from our tab, we will give you the group number to use when ordering.*
***Please ask us to join our WhatsApp group*** *when you arrive, all payment details will be posted there. We also appreciate optional donations to help support the event.*
*Thank you very much for your understanding and support!*
We meet near London Waterloo at Kings Arms, 25 Roupell St, London SE1 8TB on the Second Floor (ask staff for the large function room upstaris).
**Do I need to know anything beforehand?**
This is a **beginner-friendly** event, and most of you will be playing with us for the first time. You will get to play many games. Most importantly, this is a social activity, so feel free to talk to anyone between the games and have fun!
**What is Mafia?** Have you seen 'The Traitors'? Play the game that 'Traitors' is based upon! Mafia is a 10-player social game; it can get competitive, but it's easy to learn. We play at multiple tables. You get a secret role and work with your team to win. A game lasts about 45 minutes, so we play many during the day. The **Mafia team** tries to hide and eliminate the **Citizens**, while the **Citizens** try to find the Mafia through deduction and logic.
While this is a **beginner-only** event, we also host tournaments and online events with more experienced players from around the world. Ask us about our online games and trips abroad!āļø
***
**[How to Play?](https://bit.ly/HowToPlayMafia)**
We will teach you how to play when you arrive. You will quickly see that the game has two phases:
**Night:**
* The Mafia secretly targets a Citizen
* The *Don* (Mafia) learns if a player is the *Sheriff*
* The *Sheriff* (Citizen) learns if someone is Mafia
āļø **Day:**
* Each player says in their turn who they think the Mafia are
* Then, everyone votes publicly to eliminate one player
The game continues until the Mafia are eliminated or they outnumber (or equal) the Citizens. We will explain all the rules at the venue, and youāll pick it up.
Want to learn more about the game? See our wide range of resources, including brochures and videos: **[https://bit.ly/EMF-TIPS](https://bit.ly/EMF-TIPS)**

Board, card & dice games night at my place or the Pepper (depending on numbers)
Hi everyone!
(pre-pandemic information)
If you like to play modern board, card and dice games, and to meet new people, then join us every Wednesday evening, for as long as you like between the hours of 6pm and 11pm (when the pub closes).
Feel free to bring your own games if you have them, but don't worry if you don't as there are plenty that live at the pub, and plenty more that regular members bring along. And of course, we'll teach you how to play them if you don't know already.
You work late? No worries - you can come along any time before closing (11pm), so if you don't arrive at 7pm (when attendees trickle in), don't worry! Everyone comes and goes whenever they like, so it is possible that you may be the first to arrive or last to leave.
Please write in the comments what time you expect to arrive at the pub, so we can try to avoid anyone having to wait alone for long.
We are a relaxed and friendly group, made up of both natives and foreigners, of locals and those living further afield, happy to welcome newbies and regulars.
Events are free to attend, but it is respectable to the public venues we hold them at if you can buy at least one drink or some food while you are present.
If you would like to contribute towards the costs of running of this group, feel free to buy the host(s) a drink of their choice when you see them, for which they'd be very grateful. This saves money that can be put towards the Meetup subscription fees and buying the games that we all play.

London daytime testing at Waterloo
We playtest all sorts of games - strategic, silly, creative, or whatever. Some games are almost done. Some are very early ideas. We test anything that will fit into 90 minutes.
You don't need to bring a game - we always love to have new playtesters!
Please let us know in the comments when you plan to arrive/leave and whether you are bringing a game or not. This helps us to plan the day better.
The schedule is:
10am onwards - gathering, chatting
11am sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 1')
12:30ish - break for food/chat
1pm sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 2')
2:30ish - break for food/chat
3pm sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 3')
4:30ish - finish up
Often, we might hang around afterwards, to play some already-published games.
We are strict on timings, so please try to arrive a few minutes before the session to limit disruption.
You can just come for part of the day if you wish. The reason we have fixed timings for the 3 'slots' is to make it easier for folk to do so.
Designers of all levels of experience are welcome! But if it's your first time, we ask that you don't bring a game and just spend some time learning how the group works.
The group works based on reciprocation. If you expect to test your own game, make sure stay for long enough to play other games. As a general rule of thumb, you can expect to play one of your own games every third 90-minute session. So if you stay a whole day (3 sessions), you can expect to have one session to play your game(s). A good rule of thumb is that if you come all day, you will have one 90 minute session with two other playtesters in which to test your own games. It is sometimes possible to test games with more players. If your game requires 4 or more, please note that as standard you will be allocated half of a session (45 minutes).
Pre-covid, we were getting unmanageable. As a result, we may have to limit attendees. This is a free-to-use venue, and we have to be mindful that other folk want to use the same space.
Please note: This is an adults only event.
We look forward to seeing you!
