Die *Women in Data Science (WiDS)* ist eine Initiative der Stanford University und seit 2015 eine globale Plattform mit regionalen Konferenzen auf der ganzen Welt. Die WiDS Dornbirn ist eine davon. Ziel ist es, Frauen in diesem Zukunftsfeld sichtbar zu machen und zu stärken. Die Vorträge werden daher ausschließlich von Frauen gehalten – die Konferenz ist jedoch bewusst offen für Teilnehmende aller Geschlechter und versteht sich **nicht als reines Frauennetzwerk**, **sondern als vielfältige Fachplattform rund um Datenanalytik**. Unser Ziel ist ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis von 50:50 bei den Teilnehmenden. Wir starten in Filzbach und laufen vorbei an Zeitzeugen aus römischer Zeit. Wir werfen einen Blick auf den höchsten Wasserfall Europas, der besonders im Frühjahr viel Wasser führt. In Obstalden besichtigen wir die sehenswerte Kirche aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und stehen plötzlich vor dem Grab der einzigen Schweizer Prinzessin. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know. * Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic! **LOGISTICS** * If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event. * This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison.
