Join me for a photo walk along the canal :) We will gather at Spittelau and take a walk along the canal (mostly right bank) until Schwedenplatz. The event is free of charge but will be limited to max 12 people as it is meant as an opportunity to connect. It is suitable for all regardless of age/level/gear.

For 2026, we are starting our third year meeting every second Tuesday to mingle and get some ideas rolling. If you were not able to join us last time, come network, share stories, and meet some new people to crew or talent for your next project. We need to change venues occasionally due to other sceduled events, so be sure to check the location (If you get to the venue early, tell them you are with the "FILMMAKER'S GROUP" at 20:00- thanks) \*Meetup has more than doubled its fees for organizers planning events, to compensate for the added admin cost, we are putting out a tip jar at every event and asking for a 2-5€ donation per attendee. **For players with level low intermediate or higher only.** We play on one court with 4 players. **Price** * 20 € for 2h * You can pay via Revolut, PayPal, instant Bank Transfer or Cash. I prefer transfer over cash. **Equipment** * I provide balls (usually Bullpadel Next) * If you need a racket, you can rent it from me for 2 € (limited number available). There is also a machine at the venue, where you can rent a racket for 4 € (you need *SportToGo* App to rent from them) **Cancellation** * Please cancel at least 10h before the event, to give people on the wait list the chance to jump in. Otherwise a late cancellation fee of 10 € must be paid. * Cancel at least 26h before the event in case the wait list is empty. Otherwise a late cancellation fee will be charged * Late Cancellation fees will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières (Ärzte ohne Grenzen). * I understand that sometimes unexpected things can come up. However, not showing up and failing to let me know is considered disrespectful and goes against the community spirit. People doing uncommented no-shows have to pay the full event fee. **Important** * Playing competitive is allowed (Smashing balls, hitting balls close to opponent player etc.) * We still value fair play and sportsmanship. * Having fun together is way more important as winning. **Other information** * We are respectful and warm with each other. This time we’ll meet in Stadtpark for a portrait session / workshop, with plenty of time to experiment and work in different light situations. It’s a great opportunity to practise working with natural light outdoors, work with a model, and also get a few portraits for yourself. We’ll start with simpler portrait setups and then move into more creative and experimental directions as we go. Each person will have time to photograph the model but can also practice on the side, try different approaches, and also jump in for quick portraits in between. The idea is that we rotate setups a few times and explore how light, background, and small changes in direction affect the image. We’ll have a model with us throughout the session. ## Editorial Boudoir Lighting Session **Limited to 3 Photographers** An intimate, structured boudoir session focused on controlled lighting, refined posing, and intentional composition. This is not an open group shoot. The atmosphere will be calm, directed, and professional. We will work with: • 1 professional model • 2 curated lighting setups • Guided posing and direction • Structured shooting rotations • Time for questions and breakdowns The focus is on building strong portfolio material while understanding how to shape light and mood in an editorial boudoir environment. Spots are strictly limited to three participants to ensure quality, space, and creative control. **This time meeting:** As I'm moving to Berlin and give the group over to a fellow photography enthusiast, I wanted to arrange another photo rave You want to party, or maybe to photograph with various lights? You can do either or both during this meeting! We are going to meet on Donauinsel play some music (not a sound system but a simple speaker) switch on different lights and have a party where we can chat have fun and also photograph with lights. If you feel like dancing feel free too, if you'd like to simply take some photos of each other, you are also welcome to experiment the whole evening. Interested in sketching or painting? Join us at the Vienna Atelier of Traditional Arts (VATA). Model starts posing at 3 PM. Easels or benches are available. Snacks & tea are being served. These meetings will be a building block approach to learning photographic mastery over three disciplines: Mechanical Mastery (MM) - 13 weeks of the series Exposure Mastery (EM) - 26 weeks of the series Composition Mastery (CM) - A 52 week series All three series will run concurrently and will dovetail as follows: Q3/26 - MM (Iter 1), EM (Iter 1, Pt 1), CM (Iter 1, Pt1) Q4/26 - MM (Iter 2), EM (Iter 1, Pt 2), CM (Iter 1, Pt2) Q1/27 - MM (Iter 3), EM (Iter 2, Pt 1), CM (Iter 1, Pt3) Q2/27 - MM (Iter 4), EM (Iter 2, Pt 2), CM (Iter 1, Pt4) That's likely confusing, but essentially, MM offered 4 times in that period, EM offered 2 times, and CM offered 1 time. **TO BE CLEAR - THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THESE CLASSES.** This is an aggressive series, with presentations, homework, group shoots to be added in, likely at LEAST twice a month, image critiques, and an expectation that you are willing to put in the work to elevate your photography significantly. Open to all levels and all equipment levels. Don't let hesitation about your skillset and/or gear keep you from a one-time opportunity.
