Come and learn Irish dancing in a fun and energetic way! There will be a lot of sweat and a lot of laughs. Then we'll head for a beer after. No dancing experience necessary, as long as you know your right and left. Wear comfortable clothes and trainers. ¡Ven y aprende el baile irlandés de una forma divertida y enérgica. Habrá mucho sudor y risas. Después nos iremos a tomar algo! No es necesario tener experiencia de baile, siempre que sepas moverte a la derecha y a la izquierda. Lleva ropa cómoda y zapatillas deportivas.

Tierras desconocidas con un altísimo valor y patrimonio natural que vale la pena conocer. Visitamos algunas de ellas. Por un lado, la Sima de San Pedro, de origen kárstico, es única en Europa debido a sus dimensiones y a su valor geológico. Peculiar “agujero” ¡con una profundidad de más de 100 metros! con una laguna de agua en el fondo, es un oasis en un territorio árido. En otro contexto con un paisaje más parecido al lunar, las saladas, son lagunas de agua pudiendo estar secas, y quedándose un “mar salado seco” en grandes extensiones. Además, la zona presenta pinturas del Arte Rupestre Levantino declarado por la UNESCO Patrimonio de la Humanidad con más de 100 figuras en un mismo friso, algunas de ellas de grandes dimensiones, algo excepcional. Estaremos en Alcañiz, en el centro histórico, bonito e histórico pueblo con su famoso castillo donde recorreremos sus calles para conocer su ambiente y tomar algo. **PRIMER DÍA: ACTIVIDAD EN SIMA DE SAN PEDRO Y SALADAS.** Salimos desde Barcelona el sábado por la mañana con transporte privado a las 8.00h, pararemos a tomar un café por el camino, y llegamos al punto de origen de la primera actividad. Comeremos de picnic en un punto determinado del recorrido. Visitamos la sima de San Pedro. Seguidamente nos desplazamos a las Saladas, donde caminaremos por sus alrededores y podremos observar las peculiaridades que presenta. Ya por la tarde nos desplazamos al hotel de 2 estrellas en el centro histórico de Alcañiz, donde nos instalaremos e iremos a tomar algo por el bonito pueblo de Alcañiz para conocerlo. ***FICHA TÉCNICA*** **Dificultad:** Baja. **Distancia:** 12 Kilómetros (en varias rutas) **Desnivel:** 100 desnivel **Tiempo:** 6 horas aprox. JARDINES DEL PALAUET ALBÉNIZ + JARDÍN BOTÁNICO HISTÓRICO + VERMUT OPCIONAL EN EL POBLE SEC ¿Sabías que en Barcelona tenemos dos jardines botánicos, el nuevo y el histórico? ¿Sabrías situar en el mapa la masía que aparece en la foto? ¿Dónde se alojan los reyes cuando visitan Barcelona? ?¿Te suena *la Colla de l'Arròs*? Quién era la *Marieta de l'ull viu*? Un agradable **paseo guiado** por algunos de los rincones más desconocidos de **Montjuïc** que nos permitirá disfrutar, entre otras lugares, del interesantísimo y poco conocido **Jardín Botánico Histórico de Barcelona**; de los majestuosos **jardines del Palauet Albéniz**; y de los jardines Laribal y su mítica **Font del Gat**. **\- Jardín Botánico Histórico de Barcelona** El *Jardí Botànic Històric*, un pequeño tesoro de la jardinería barcelonesa, se oculta dentro de dos hondonadas procedentes de antiguas canteras en el sector de la **Foixarda de Montjuïc**, detrás del Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya. Al tratarse de un lugar hondo, situado en la umbría de Montjuïc, el aire frío se acumula en la parte baja y las temperaturas de la hondonada son hasta cuatro grados inferiores a las de la parte superior. Esta circunstancia facilita el desarrollo de especies de carácter eurosiberiano, propias de climas más fríos. **\- Palauet Albéniz y jardines de Joan Maragall** El palacete Albéniz, residencia de los reyes de España en sus visitas oficiales y extraoficiales a Barcelona, esconde uno de los jardines clásicos más bonitos y menos conocidos de Barcelona: los jardines de Joan Maragall. Esculturas, fuentes, un teatro "griego", flores, plantas y parterres ordenados y bien cuidados sirven de marco ideal para el palacete, construido para la Exposición Internacional de Barcelona en 1929 y diseñado por Juan Moiya, el arquitecto de la Casa Real. **\- Los jardines Laribal\, la mítica *Font del Gat* y el *Teatre Grec*** Los jardines Laribal son una de las joyas de la montaña de Montjuïc y pasear por ellos es una auténtica delicia. La vegetación riquísima, junto con el agua que baja por cascadas y se desliza delicadamente entre anchas barandillas, los bancos de baldosa y las plazoletas crean un conjunto de excepcional belleza, con vistas increíbles de la ciudad. Los jardines también destacan por su riqueza escultórica: *Estival*, de Jaume Otero (1929); *La noia de la trena* y *Repòs*, ambas de Josep Viladomat (1928). Cerca de la rosaleda hay una fuente de cerámica esmaltada con motivos marinos, coronada por un surtidor, obra del ceramista Llorens Artigas. Y eso sin olvidarnos de la famosa *Font del Gat*, muy popular en la ciudad a finales del siglo XIX. Broad St., Columbus 43215** WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
