We will get-together at the KereKere cafe - at the community table just inside the cafe entrance.
*This is a group for people with intermediate and advanced level French who are able to engage in a conversation en franรงais. It is not suitable for beginners.*
The cafe is close to the corner of Wellington Parade and Lansdowne St, East Melbourne in the Fitzroy Gardens. It takes about 5 minutes on Tram 75 from Flinders St Station, or 15 minute walk.
Car parking around Fitzroy Gardens on Sundays now is $2 per hour with a 4 hour limit, Some parking is limited to 1 hour even on Sunday. And occasionally, if there is a game at the MCG for example there might not be much parking at all.

Celebrate Pride March with an epic after-party on the stunning rooftop of the Victorian Pride Centre!
Starting off with rooftop social at Vic Pride Centre, you can purchase a sausage sizzle ($3.50). There'll be performances, djs and more put on by Pride Centre.
Arrival from 1pm until 4pm (actual event finishes at 6pm). Oscar will hang out until 5pm. Others may hang out as well.
**Then from 4pm we will head over St Kilda Sport Club for a day on the lawn. Around 8pm we will wrap up but event goes until 9pm.**
Features Djs, drag, lawn bowls, markets plus more. This is also FREE.
Please leave dogs at home. That way you're able to connect and isn't quite the space or event for them.
I'll be in all Rainbow to meet and greet you from 1pm. Oscar will arrive from 3pm.

If youโve got spare seats and donโt mind some company, offering a lift is one of the best ways to kick off the day ๐๐จ. It makes the trip more fun, helps out fellow hikers who donโt have a car, and is an easy way to make a few friends before we even hit the trail. Plus, fewer cars means less parking stress and a smoother start for everyone.
For passengers, itโs the easiest way to get to the trail, meet new people and enjoy the ride together instead of travelling alone. In our Wilderness Seekers Victoria community, many people are more than happy to help out those without cars itโs part of what makes these days feel so welcoming and connected.
โจ Best practice: Passengers should try to secure transportation before purchasing a ticket to avoid any last-minute stress.
**Important Carpooling Note**
Drivers and passengers should stick with the arrangements they make. We **do not recommend swapping drivers or cars**after youโve agreed on a ride. If you do decide to change, please make sure **all parties are clearly informed and agree** to avoid confusion.
If a driver forgets, gets mixed up, or doesnโt pick you up, Wilderness Seekers Victoria (and your driver) are **not liable** for any inconvenience caused. For this reason, it is best to keep things simple with the driver you first arranged with.

After our hike, we love keeping the good vibes rolling with a meal together. Weโll suggest a cafรฉ or restaurant thatโs usually on the way back toward the city so itโs easy for everyone and avoids extra driving.
Itโs always a highlight of the day swapping stories from the trail, sharing laughs, and getting to know your fellow hikers even better over some good food.
Joining is optional, but most people stick around because itโs such a fun way to finish the adventure. Everyone just covers their own meal, and weโll confirm the spot in the Instagram group chat on the day.
When booking, youโll be asked if youโd like to join: Yes / No / Not Sure. The organisers will confirm the restaurant or bar on the day, based on feedback.

**๐ง Rain Policy**
If the forecast shows over 15 mm in 6 hours or 20+ mm during the day, we may postpone or adjust the hike to keep things safe and enjoyable. Slippery trails, flooding, and poor visibility are no fun or safe.
Weโll also reschedule for thunderstorms or if trails are still soaked from heavy rain the days before.
Light rain (under 5 mm/hour) is usually fine. Weโll check each hike case-by-case. Safety first ๐ฟ
If it changes and gets heavier, weโll reschedule for the following Saturday, 01 Match 2026 instead.

Confidence can be cultivated in many waysโthrough reflection, conversation, creativity, and practice. In this Confidence Lab session, weโll explore one powerful pathway: **building confidence from the inside out through physical expression and movement**.
This experience is designed to help you reconnect with your body as a source of insight, self-trust, and presence. Weโll begin by grounding into whatโs bringing you here, creating space to notice how your body is showing up and what itโs holding. From there, youโll be guided through accessible movement exercises that invite awareness and choiceโisolating different parts of the body, experimenting with movement, and practicing what it feels like to take up space intentionally.
Next, youโll participate in a small-group dance lesson led in a supportive, low-pressure environment. No dance experience is needed. The focus is not on performance or perfection, but on expression, curiosity, and allowing yourself to move with confidence as you are.
Weโll close with a reflective group discussion, exploring what emerged during the experience and how these insights can be applied beyond the studioโhow you inhabit your body, how you carry yourself, and how you show up in everyday life.

Valentines Eve (Galentine's anybody?)
**Valentines Eve**: Love and friendship pair quite naturally with almost any wine. Go ahead. Give it a try at the Hilliard Wine Club Valentines Eve event. Pay no attention to the superstitious guy in the corner who keeps murmuring comments about it being Friday the 13th too.
(Volunteers with decorations show up at least 15 minutes early to set the scene for a pleasant relaxing evening. Reminder - this is also another "Freestyle Night.")
**On Freestyle night** \- just bring a bottle to share\. There is NO formal wine tasting like on other weeks\. Door charge is $10 \(cash or Venmo only please\)\. We may have some left over wines to clear out\! Glasses are provided\. Take Care\. See you there\.
**Parking**: There are several public parking lots near the Alive614 hall. Please be careful to NOT park in private parking lots. They do tow. Check Google maps to scope out your space. Anyone who is early could easily find a parking space on the street nearby. I am told that the Chase parking lot is safe after hours.
**Glasses**: โฆwill be provided. Please note that after the wine tasting, the EMPTY glasses need to be returned to the boxes at the service table. Please do not make me hunt down your empty glass. Please be gentle, our glasses are fragile. Uh, they are made of glass!
**Food**: You are welcome to bring a snack to share. It is not required. Most people do though. If no one brings anything, there will be nothing.

Wine Tasting - Newcomers Night
This is "***New Members Night***." If you are one of the many folks on the fence about coming to your first wine tasting with the *Hilliard Wine Club*, this is the night to come. There will be many other new people, so you won't be alone. And the regulars will be there to help make you feel welcome. We're a relaxed and warm group. We hope to see you.
**SIDE NOTE:** New members are welcome to ALL our Friday night wine tastings, but this night is a special overture to those who don't want to feel that they are the only new person in the room. Don't worry. You won't be. And don't hesitate to RSVP to other events.
**OLD MEMBERS NOTE**: Hey Old Members! You're not excluded from this event. We expect to see you there to help make the new members feel welcome.

Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you!
