đĄ Details about Speakers & TalksđĄ
**Volodymyr Hordiienko:**
DevOps Architect with over a decade of experience in multi-cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and delivery automation. Designs and builds production-grade environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid on-prem - covering architecture, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, security, and operational reliability. Has led cloud migrations, platform modernizations, and greenfield builds across industries, including telecom, healthcare, IoT, finance, and retail.
â will speak about:
A practical AWS migration story about rebuilding a live platform from a single-account, manually managed setup into a governed multi-account delivery model. The talk covers Terragrunt/Terraform, ECS Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Cognito, CI/CD, cross-account deployments, mobile release pipelines, enterprise IAM constraints, and the operational reality of getting an AWS platform truly ready for production.
**Wojtek DÄ
browski**:
is a Solutions Architect and backend engineer with over a decade of experience, working primarily with AWS. He stays hands-on with code and delivery, combining practical engineering with architecture and technical decision-making. Currently, he is a Platform Tech Lead at Northmill Bank. Since 2019, he has led AWS User Group Silesia in Poland, and in 2023, he was recognized as an AWS Hero.
â will speak about:
Most people still assume AWS is not the natural home for .NET and treat C# as a âsecond choiceâ on AWS. That used to be a fair concern in some areas, but itâs no longer the reality. In this talk, weâll walk through what building on AWS looks like when your primary stack is C# and modern .NET.
Weâll take a developer-first tour of the AWS services that make .NET a strong fit: serverless workloads (APIs, async processing, event-driven systems), container platforms, and infrastructure-as-code written in C#. Along the way, Iâll show concrete patterns and trade-offs, including where .NET shines, where itâs neutral, and where you should be honest and pick a different tool. The goal is simple: leave with a clear mental model, practical options you can use immediately, and a refreshed view of what â.NET on AWSâ can look like in 2026.

Digitalna transformacija, inovacije i umjetna inteligencija
Promijenili smo prostoriju zbog velikog interesa. EtaĹža je ista - 4. kat, soba je F10 - DuĹĄan VukotiÄ
**SaĹžetak:**
Digitalna transformacija ulazi u novu fazu u kojoj umjetna inteligencija i alati poput Microsoft Copilota u Microsoft 365 okruĹženju postaju kljuÄni akceleratori produktivnosti i kvalitete odluÄivanja.
Kroz niz primjera predavanje Äe objasniti vaĹžnost inovacija i pravilnog odabira kljuÄnih tehnologija u kreiranju novih poslovnih modela kao osnove svake digitalne transformacije.
KoristeÄi konkretne primjere iz prakse predavaÄ Äe objasniti kako Copilot, analitika poslovnih podataka i cloud tehnologije podrĹžavaju donoĹĄenje odluka temeljenih na podacima, optimizaciju procesa i unaprjeÄenje korisniÄkog iskustva. Sudionici Äe steÄi uvid u kljuÄne stupove transformacije â poslovni model, podatke i agilnu organizaciju â te kako uprava moĹže voditi promjene i mjeriti uspjeh kroz KPI-jeve i povrat ulaganja u razdoblju od 6 do 18 mjeseci.
Naravno, moĹžete se zapitati: Ĺ to ako ne zapoÄnemo digitalnu transformaciju? Imamo li izbora?

Banke rijetko kada drastiÄno mijenjaju svoje sustave, a pogotovo same naÄine rada unutar timova.

đ¸ **Why Join in Spring?**
Spring is when Zagreb truly comes alive.
Magnolia trees bloom across the city, cafĂŠ terraces fill with conversation, and longer sunny days invite people outdoors. Locals stroll through parks, cycle along the Sava, run around Jarun and Bundek lakes, or escape to the nearby Medvednica mountain for hikes and views above the city.
At the same time, Zagrebâs cultural calendar blossoms with exhibitions, concerts, festivals and theatre performances, while markets like Dolac overflow with seasonal produce: asparagus, wild garlic, strawberries and fresh flavours of the season.
Itâs the perfect time to meet people and explore the city together.
And many of those plans begin right here, at [SFIZ.FUN](https://sites.google.com/view/smallfridayinternationalzagreb/). đ
đş **Why The Beertija?**
Because itâs more than a bar, itâs our headquarters.
Expect:
đż leafy terrace vibes
đ¸ rock-inspired atmosphere
đş excellent beers
đď¸ relaxed living-room energy
đ non-smoking indoor space
Itâs the kind of place where you pop in for one drink and suddenly realise the evening flew by.
đĄ **First-Timer Tip**
If itâs your first time:
đ arrive early
đ smile and say hello
đŹ jump into a conversation
Everyone was new once and thatâs how all starts.
đ **Join the Crew**
[SFIZ.FUN](https://sites.google.com/view/smallfridayinternationalzagreb/) is a community built by the people who show up.
So if your Thursday evening could use a little more conversation, laughter and international energy, come by and join us.
Bring a friend if you like, or come solo and meet new ones.
â¨Ditch the screen, grab a drink, meet the worldđ
See you on Small Friday! đť
**SFIZ Crew**
P.S. Spread the word
https://sites.google.com/view/smallfridayinternationalzagreb
đ **How to Spot Us**

**Parking**: There are several public parking lots near the Alive614 hall. Please be careful to NOT park in private parking lots. They do tow. Check Google maps to scope out your space. **Code of Conduct**: Though mostly understood, itâs still worth mentioning. We donât have rules per se, but we highly discourage the following topics of discussion because they are likely to incite anti-social responses - Sex, Politics, Religion. Please donât mistake this as an attempt to limit your free speech rights but rather a guide to a place and time for appropriate discussions.
**After the lights go out**: After the last sip of wine, when we clean up and turn the lights out, if you still havenât had enough of us, it is typical for a group to get together and go to a local eatery for food and/or drinks or coffee.
Again, We look forward to meeting new members and reuniting with old friends.

Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs.
This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context.
We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy. The session also highlights how serverless components such as AWS Lambda can be used for orchestration and real-time processing.
