**Thursday Night Football is back!** Our decade-long tradition of playing Thursday night games continues at **Turnhalle Lind Nord** in Winterthur! Open to all skill levels, newcomers, as well as regular players. The cost will be CHF 10 per game or there is the option to pay for the whole year. The attendance is limited to 12 players, if the meetup list is full then please join the waitlist as we regularly have people dropping out the day of the event. **Parking** There is no parking at Lind Nord, however there is paid parking at Museumplatz 3 or Kreuzstrasse 13, both of which are about 2 min walking distance **No-shows** We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play, and that means dropping out if you know that you won't play. You are responsible for keeping your RSVP up-to-date, not the organisers. Our no-show rules: * -No-shows will pay the regular fee for that game (even if they already paid for the season) plus the fees for those that were on the waitlist (so x times the regular fee). This way, the people in the waitlist will play a future game for free, as a small consolation present. * -No-shows might loose their place to those in the waitlist the next time they sign up when there is a waitlist * -No-show cutoff time is 2 hours before event start, to give others enough time to plan in advance. The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI One does not simply build reports on OLTP data. Join us on an epic journey from the depths of raw, normalized tables to the shining halls of a well-modeled star schema fit for Power BI greatness. We will demystify the differences between OLTP and OLAP, walk through star schema vs snowflake (and why Power BI has a clear favorite), and show you the compression differences between normalized and columnar storage that will make you never look at an OLTP model the same way again. We will cover the different types of dimensions, when to use them, and how to handle Slowly Changing Dimensions without losing your mind. You will leave knowing exactly how to identify a bad model, how to convert OLTP data into a clean star schema, and how to forge relationships that rule them all. **Comedy Night + Open Mic + Freestyle**: Tristan Shae and friends return to entertain us and to warm the group up for our open mic session. February's Open Mic / Comedy Night was a smash hit and it's worth a second night. We'll start with Tristan Shae and a couple of his friends. Tristan is an alternative comic from Columbus, Ohio. A counselor by day, Tristan explores how comedy can improve mental health by telling jokes and stories that muse on how absurd life can be from squeaky clean topics to not so clean ones. Tristan produces the variety show Cheaper Than Therapy, hosts the weekly Problem Child Alt Comedy Open Mic at The Attic, and can be found engaging in all sorts of silliness around the city from stand up shows at The Nest Theater, The Attic, or The Funny Bone, to improv and sketch shows with various groups at various venues such as The Hashtag Comedy Club. **On Freestyle night** \- just bring a bottle to share\. There is NO formal wine tasting like on other weeks\. Door charge is $10 \(cash or Venmo only please\)\. We may have some left over wines to clear out\! Glasses are provided\. Take Care\.
