Money, Mindset & Connection for Professional Women in Budapest
We don’t shy away from the 'M' word at our table. Normalizing conversations about money is how we empower our circle — whether that’s exploring how to make your wealth work for you while you sleep, navigating the hurdles of investing, or sharing the financial challenges unique to women.
These topics deserve a safe, casual space. Because real empowerment isn’t just a mindset; it’s about having the tools to fund your freedom. We’re here to bypass surface-level networking and dive into the things the corporate world often ignores.
COME JOIN US IF YOU'RE
* **Building your Budapest circle**, weather you're a local or a newcomer (expat), ready to make this city feel like home.
* **Hungry for high-fidelity connections** that go deeper than a business card.
* **Eager to swap stories** with women who see the world differently than you do.
* **Looking for your people** and a supportive space where you can be inspired and offer a hand to others.
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS
**We discover the city’s hidden gems together.** Once you register, you’ll receive the secret location for our gathering.
**You’ll be greeted with a warm welcome hug** **and your first coffee (or tea) is on us**. We keep our groups intimate to ensure real conversation. With the help of a facilitator and our custom cards, we open the door to insights you won't find anywhere else.
**No pressure, just presence.** You can stay quiet and listen, or share your wisdom with the group. You only share what you’re comfortable with. When the gathering ends, the connection continues, and you’ll be invited to our private community to keep the chemistry going.
WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT
We know the algorithm loves loud, party-style events, but we believe in the power of the intimate and the intentional. We are here for the women who want to be seen, heard, and truly connected.

#7 Female Networking ☕ Let's talk about money, investment and owning our power
Most professional events feel like a job interview.
Most social hangouts feel like aimless small talk.
**We are here to do the opposite!**
🌟 WHY JOIN?
At the **Women’s Coffee Network**, we offer a non-traditional experience where you don't have to fight for your voice, perfect an elevator pitch, or navigate a room of strangers alone. We created this circle because **we don't believe in the hustle; we believe in the power of a steady anchor.**
This is a facilitated experience, not just a meeting.
We don’t just book a table; we curate a journey. Working with the precision of a designer and the empathy of a coach, we’ve built this soft sanctuary where **the superficial is skipped** and **the high-fidelity connection begins**. We're here to share personal stories and build professional alliances.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
* 🎀 It's a **female-only community** because we have our unique way to express ourselves, struggles in the business world, and jokes only other women can understand.
* 🎀 If the idea of a meetup with 50 people makes you want to stay home, this circle is for you! We gather in **small, intimate groups** — to meet enough new people to have a deep conversation, but not so many that you feel anxious or overwhelmed.
* 🎀 Whether you are leading a corporation, building a creative empire, or navigating the quiet uncertainty of a career transition, you have a seat at our table. The **diversity of professional backgrounds** makes our circle special with shared wisdom.
* 🎀 Our **soft-flow dialogue** ensures that no bravery is required to be heard. You don’t have to be the loudest in the room to be the most impactful. Here, your silence is respected, and your voice is gently invited.
HOW TO JOIN US?
[Reserve your seat in less than a minute](https://luma.com/mwb10eo1) 👈
🔗 Link also pinned in the comments for easy mobile access.
We believe the best conversations happen in small groups. To keep our soft landing atmosphere, we host only 8–10 women at a time. Once you apply through Luma, we’ll review your profile to maintain our safe, female-only professional circle and confirm your spot within 48 hours.
*Note: No charges are finalized until your seat at the table is confirmed! 💜*
**What's included?**
The support fee for this edition is **€15**, which includes:
* ⚓️ 2 hours of expert-led facilitation and curated dialogue
* ☕ Your first coffee or tea (so you can simply arrive and settle in)
* 🏠 Exclusive access to our private Facebook community
* 💜 Supporting our work to create steady anchors for professional women
* 🎫 All platform and transaction fees are also included.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
* A **guided start** where every woman is seen and heard. You introduce yourself saying whatever you feel like sharing in a way that is comfortable to you.
* We use our **custom-designed materials** to move past titles and discover the humans behind the roles.
* A **verified circle** of women where you can be professionally ambitious and personally vulnerable at the same time.
* Leave with **full batteries**, meaningful new professional bridges, and the support of women who truly *get it*.
**If you feel called to create real connection in Budapest within a female-only community, we can’t wait to welcome you.** 💜

Kerek Perec Filmklub: Magyar Menyegző
As the weather looks a bit gloomy next weekend, it’s the perfect time to join us for our very first film club event. We’ll meet at Tabán Art Cinema to watch "Magyar Menyegzők", a truly unique film that stands out as Hungary’s first “folk dance” movie. It features a beautiful soundtrack, stunning traditional costumes, and vibrant dancing that bring the story to life. Set in Transylvania in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the film also offers a glimpse into the political and historical atmosphere of the time, making it not only visually engaging but culturally rich as well.
After the screening, we’ll head to a nearby coffee shop where, depending on your level, we'll split into smaller groups to chat about the movie, weddings, cinema, and history.
The film will be shown with English subtitles, so everyone can enjoy it. The discussions are divided to three levels: complete beginner(A1), foundation(A2) and intermediate(B1)
You can purchase your ticket through the Cooltix link, which includes your cinema ticket. If you’re a student under 26 and can verify your student status at the cinema, you’re eligible for a discounted price.

This Yoga & Brunch experience is an invitation to pause, reconnect, and enjoy a few hours away from the usual rhythm of
the week.
Join us for a morning of:
🧘♀️ Flow yoga
🎶 Live handpan music
🥣 Vegan brunch
✨ A calm, inspiring space in the heart of the city
We begin with a 75-minute Flow yoga practice, guided by Ivett and accompanied by Richard’s live handpan music.
In this gentle, continuous flow, the breath leads the movement — creating a natural rhythm where the practice becomes a form of moving meditation.
Ivett has been practicing yoga for over ten years, with a background in modern-contemporary dance. In her classes, the connection between breath and movement is at the heart of the
experience.
“For me, yoga is not just physical exercise — it’s a path back to myself.”
Richard’s handpan music responds to the rhythm of the practice, shaping a soft, immersive atmosphere.
“My connection to music comes from presence — from an inner silence that slowly takes shape as sound.”
Brunch after the practice
After the class, from 11:15, we gather for a nourishing brunch by Smoothie Sanctuary.
You can choose from freshly prepared shots, juices, smoothies or smoothie bowls made from premium ingredients.
Participation fee

✨ nyugodt, inspiráló tér a város szívében

Embodied Emotions
# Movement-based live workshop in Ceske Budejovice
A workshop to listen for the quiet language of the body and the sudden flare of reactivity that can surprise us. Through breath, movement, and attentive sensing from head to toes, we invite emotional release by letting what’s been held begin to breathe, tremble, soften, and move.
Do you ever react more strongly than the moment seems to call for?
Do you ever wonder why the people you love most can trigger the biggest reactions?
Do you ever say something in the heat of the moment and later wish you had responded differently?
Do you ever feel old hurt rising in situations that seem small on the surface?
Do you ever notice how quickly closeness can turn into tension, defensiveness, or withdrawal?
Do you ever feel like something much older is being touched in your relationships?
Do you ever get overwhelmed by a tone of voice, a look, or a silence you can’t quite explain?
Do you ever find yourself repeating reactions you thought you had moved beyond?
Do you ever feel your body respond before your mind understands what is happening?
Do you ever wonder whether what hurts most in the present is connected to something from the past?
Many emotions live in the body before we can name them, and in this workshop we’ll gently let them surface, move, and soften through breath, sensing from head to toes, and supportive movement.
Embodied Emotions is a workshop rooted in integral psychology, where we listen for the quiet language of the body and the sudden flare of reactivity that can surprise us. Through breath, movement, and attentive sensing from head to toes, we invite emotional release by letting what’s been held begin to breathe, tremble, soften, and move.
We travel in waves, from slow to fast, from one sensation to many, learning how the body speaks in every situation and how to meet its messages with compassionate acceptance. Instead of forcing change, we practice allowing: making space for what is, so it can finally shift on its own. Minimal talking, we more listen to what is inside, learning to hear, to feel and let it be. We create a safe outlet for the emotions stored in the body and let them leave, be expressed, without any damage, hurt or pain. Leave lighter, calmer and more aware.

**About the host:** Eszter is a long-time expat, a mother of three, and an integral counselor. She left her home country at the age of 21 to study in Paris, where she first experienced how deeply financial resources — or the lack of them — can shape a person’s life. She began in the expat bubble with her boyfriend, then gradually opened herself to the people and culture around her. She had her first two children in Paris before moving back to Hungary after eight years.
Back in Hungary, she took over her mother’s company while raising children as a single mother after her husband left her. At the same time, her grandmother was living with Alzheimer’s, and her mother was caring for her, which meant Eszter carried the responsibility of helping provide for seven people. Trying to find a way out of this pressure, she moved to what became her second home, the Czech Republic, to join a man who later turned out to be toxic. Despite having three children, one of them still a toddler, she chose to raise them alone rather than remain in an environment that was harmful to them.
After surviving — and eventually thriving — alone with three children in a country whose language was difficult to learn, she took on several jobs. One of them involved guiding tourists, where she discovered her gift for building trust and connection with people within just a few minutes.
When the pandemic made travel impossible, she continued deepening this path by completing a coaching certification. Yet she felt coaching was not gentle enough for the kind of relationship she wanted to offer her clients. That led her to begin a three-year training in integral psychology and become an integral counselor. Because their rage required, she also took on the role of supporting her elderly parents, traveling 500 km twice a month to check on them. Since than she has been living the reality of so-called “sandwich caregiving,” caring both for (the more and more independent) children at home and parents who have become increasingly dependent on her emotional support.
Her parenting journey has also brought her through profound challenges: supporting a daughter caught in an anxiety cycle around visits to a narcissistic father until she could eventually stand up for herself; learning to hold and accept a son’s digital addiction while, over time, setting clearer limits around how she could support him; and enduring one of the hardest experiences of all, when her other daughter went through amnesia and cut off all emotional relationships, including with her.
These experiences led Eszter into a deep therapeutic journey of her own. Through it, she learned how powerfully defense mechanisms serve to protect life, how reparative emotional experiences — especially those within families — can bring healing, and how even one stable, safe attachment can become a life-giving container for a child shaped by trauma.
Today, her mission is to support parents in being parents. She believes that while therapy can be deeply valuable, the most important factor in a child’s life is a safe relationship with a caregiver. When parents can offer that, they do not only support their own children — they also help interrupt patterns that would otherwise be passed to the next generation. For Eszter, this work is not only about helping the individuals she meets directly, but also about contributing to a healthier future for humanity.
Having lived for more than 20 years as an expat in two different countries, she has learned both how to stand strongly on her own feet and how that same self-reliance can come at a cost. She lives with a condition that will likely remain part of her life forever and requires great discipline around food and daily choices. This has taught her something essential: freedom is never the absence of limits. Rather, freedom lies in the tiny moment of awareness between what happens and how we respond to it.
That is the heart of the work she now offers to clients: helping them hold multiple perspectives, become more accepting and compassionate toward their own choices, and meet both inner experience and outer circumstance with greater awareness.
Eszter believes that when parents become aware of their own triggers and can separate them from what belongs to the child, parenting becomes much easier. And when we understand the needs and impulses a child is acting from, we can meet them with more acceptance, more understanding, and more loving guidance — rather than fear, conflict, or control.
She sees therapy, in many ways, as a substitute for the good-enough, loving, accepting parent. And one of her deepest intentions is to empower parents to trust that they, too, can become that kind of presence for their child.

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.

Comedy Night + Open Mic (Bring Wine)
**Comedy Night + Open Mic + Freestyle**: Tristan Shae and friends return to entertain us and to warm the group up for our open mic session. February's Open Mic / Comedy Night was a smash hit and it's worth a second night.
We'll start with Tristan Shae and a couple of his friends. Tristan is an alternative comic from Columbus, Ohio. A counselor by day, Tristan explores how comedy can improve mental health by telling jokes and stories that muse on how absurd life can be from squeaky clean topics to not so clean ones. Tristan produces the variety show Cheaper Than Therapy, hosts the weekly Problem Child Alt Comedy Open Mic at The Attic, and can be found engaging in all sorts of silliness around the city from stand up shows at The Nest Theater, The Attic, or The Funny Bone, to improv and sketch shows with various groups at various venues such as The Hashtag Comedy Club.
**On Freestyle night** \- just bring a bottle to share\. There is NO formal wine tasting like on other weeks\. Door charge is $10 \(cash or Venmo only please\)\. We may have some left over wines to clear out\! Glasses are provided\. Take Care\. See you there\.
**Parking**: There are several public parking lots near the Alive614 hall. Please be careful to NOT park in private parking lots. They do tow. Check Google maps to scope out your space. Anyone who is early could easily find a parking space on the street nearby. I am told that the Chase parking lot is safe after hours.
**Glasses**: …will be provided. Please note that after the wine tasting, the EMPTY glasses need to be returned to the boxes at the service table. Please do not make me hunt down your empty glass. Please be gentle, our glasses are fragile. Uh, they are made of glass!
**Food**: You are welcome to bring a snack to share. It is not required. Most people do though. If no one brings anything, there will be nothing.
**Code of Conduct**: Though mostly understood, it’s still worth mentioning. We don’t have rules per se, but we highly discourage the following topics of discussion because they are likely to incite anti-social responses - Sex, Politics, Religion. Please don’t mistake this as an attempt to limit your free speech rights but rather a guide to a place and time for appropriate discussions.
**After the lights go out**: After the last sip of wine, when we clean up and turn the lights out, if you still haven’t had enough of us, it is typical for a group to get together and go to a local eatery for food and/or drinks or coffee. Please join us.
Again, We look forward to meeting new members and reuniting with old friends.
Sincerely, ***Paul Uttermohlen***,
**Red 1 Realty**

Prompt vs. Paintbrush
AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s?
This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation?
We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee.
Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.
