Maker Night - Work on 3D projects using laser cutter, 3D Printer at TOG
Maker Night - Work on 3D projects using laser cutter, 3D Printer at TOG
**Do you like to make things? Would you like to use 3D software, lasercutter and 3D printing to help you make your idea?** TOG has an open evening to learn how CAD software and 3D fabrication tools can help you make your project. All you need to take part is your own laptop and some ideas on what you want to make. This is not a taught class, more like an informal working group of self-directed makers. We will be happy to help you explore how to use our 3D tools in designing and making your project whether you are a crafter, designer, engineer or hobbyist. Come and have a look at the tools in our space and get some ideas on how your project can be made.

Electronics Night
Electronics Night
These are our regular Monday evening electronics nights. Everyone from absolute beginner to experienced is welcome. These evenings are not classes or tutorials, rather a very friendly informal evening. We have a wide range of people who come. Some are absolute beginners who do not even work or study electronics, but are interested to know more. Others have something that they are already working on. We almost always have some first time visitors and we always give them a tour of the space. Come in with your Pi, Arduino, or whatever you have. Bring your laptop. Maybe you want to make something, solder, breadboard or use our electronic gear. Maybe you have some vague ideas and just want to get started. Or maybe you’re just curious……if so, it’s fine to come along and just see what others are doing. If you would like to get even more involved and have the full use of our space, we would be delighted to have you as a full member. Membership brings many benefits. We are located behind Mr Price and the Bright Lights store on Kylemore Road. We have lots of free parking available.

Christmas Gala 3pm matinée: NSOI and Sinéad Campbell Wallace (NCH)
**’Tis the season to be merry… and to indulge in a festive gala of glorious opera arias and seasonal gems with National Symphony Orchestra Ireland, conductor Francesco Cilluffo and soprano Sinéad Campbell Wallace.** [Please arrange your own ticket (ranging from €15 - €49 for the 3 pm show): welcome to add seat details to comments for others to purchase adjacent seats.](https://www.nch.ie/all-events-listing/christmas-gala-with-nsoi-and-sinead-campbell-wallace-dec25/) * About: Sinéad Campbell Wallace is one of the most exciting performers on the operatic stage today. Her fast-rising profile has seen her perform leading roles in prestigious opera houses across Europe, the United States and Tokyo, and at home with Irish National Opera and Wexford Festival Opera. She will bring her ‘heavenly voice’ (*Opera Online*) to Puccini’s aching ‘Vissi d’Arte (*Tosca*) – a role for which she has been widely praised - the innocently loving ‘Un bel dì vedremo’ (*Madama Butterfly*), Catalani’s haunting ‘Ebben? Ne andrò lontana’ (*La Wally*), and Lehár’s sparkling ‘Meine Lippen, sie küssen so heiss’ from Giuditta. With these glorious arias, festive vocal favourites including *The Wexford Carol*, *O Holy Night* and *Silent Night*, and orchestral favourites such as Tchaikovsky’s sugar-coated, snow-dusted *The Nutcracker* and Leroy Anderson’s joyful *A Christmas Festival*. Francesco Cilluffo, Principal Guest Conductor with Wexford Festival Opera since 2020, brings all his ‘instinctive feeling for Italiante lyricism’ (*New York Times*) to what promises to be a memorable partnership with National Symphony Orchestra and Sinéad Campbell Wallace in a festive, feel-good afternoon.
