Friday evening sketching session at Villa Vauban. Every friday Villa Vauban is free between 6-9pm. To benefit from this we willl have a monthly sketch & sip session (in that order :)) using a specific room/painting in the museum. Note: While I will be at the museum at 6, to accommodate for people coming out later from work the meetup event is set at 7. This event will be on Saturday **28/03/2026.** **What we will do together** **1.** Cycle from Luxembourg gare **(front of Police station)** to Remerschen Youth Hostel (about 32km). **2.** Have a meal at the Youth hostel **(warm dining area inside the Youth Hostel).** Those who wish to do a shorter ride can take the **bus** from Remerschen back to Lux gare. **3.** Cycle from Remerschen to Wasserbilling gare (about 36km). If we maintain an average speed of about 18km/hour and have a total stop time of 90 minutes (including 1 hour meal at the youth hostel), we can finish the ride in 5 hours. **Getting home from the finishing point (Wasserbillig gare)** There are trains from Wasserbillig to Luxembourg Gare every 30 minutes. Also, there are buses going from Wasserbillig to other directions. **What to bring** 1\. Your bike in tip top condition\. 2\. Energy snacks\. 3\. Lots of fluids to stay hydrated\. 4. **Packed food** for the meal at the Youth hostel. **ALTERNATIVELY,** you can **order food** at Remerschen Youth hostel, if we get there before 14:00h. They close the kitchen at 2pm. To **guarantee our access** to the hostel even if their dining area is booked for a private event, I called them, and they said that I should email them to book space for our cycling group.
