Depending on attendees preferences this event will take either a more hands on approach to the diversity and quality catastrophe that we see in shops regarding our beloved vegetables, or a more chill attitude. Economic or social aspects can be covered, again depending on the democratic preferences of the attendees. If it wouldn't be for the depressing landscape of the situation it would be a fun event. This time we are going to experience the world-famous spa town of Karlovy Vary, a spa town situated in western Bohemia. We will admire the grand 19th-century spa architecture, stroll along the impressive colonnades, and sip the presumably health-restoring sulphurous waters from 12 different springs in spouted ceramic drinking cups. One of the most famous attractions is the hot spring that spews out hot thermal waters to a height of 12 meters. We are a group of runners who meet most weeks for a run around the beautiful Vltava River's edge. You can bring your running shoes straight from the office/home office if you don't have time to stop at home. There will be a place to put your bags in the Cafe. The Unix philosophy emphasizes simplicity, modularity, and the idea that programs should do one thing well and work together. However, CLI programs are primarily used by humans. Programs that you actually enjoy using can achieve both of these aims of composability and human-centeredness. This talk explores what makes CLIs great: fast, trusted, and delightful. Through real-world examples from modern tools like uv, cargo, ripgrep, and GitHub CLI, you'll learn the design patterns that separate good CLIs from great ones. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association: They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education.
