🌳 F*ck the Small Talk #1: Park Edition
**[🎟️ Click here to grab your ticket 🎟️](https://luma.com/ftst1buenosaires)**
F\*ck the Small Talk has traveled the world from Berlin, Melbourne, London, Lisbon, to Mexico City, and is now back in **Buenos Aires** for our 3rd season: Summer 2026! The weather is beautiful and it's time to meet new people! 😎
**📦 WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?**
FTST is a one-of-a-kind social experience where strangers come together for meaningful, fun and deep conversation. It’s also a different & cool way of meeting new people by getting a bit out of your comfort zone and skipping the small talk!
Join us for games, talks, and connections with friends you haven’t met yet. Join if you get annoyed after being asked what you do, where you are from, and how long you've been in BA every single time you meet someone. If you feel that there are better questions in life then this is the place for you. 🙌
**📓 HOW DOES IT WORK?**
We start with a short & sweet intro talk followed by a few fun games to warm up. After that, we split you up into small groups (of 3-4) and start with the conversation rounds. We'll have awesome question **cards** that will guide the flow of the conversation. You'll **be guided by an experienced host** (Elle, you'll love her!) who'll make sure everything goes smoothly. 🍭
**🕹 HOW TO JOIN?**
**[Take 1 minute to sign up 👈](https://luma.com/ftst1buenosaires)**
Our events are limited to **30 handpicked guests** to ensure a cozy atmosphere. **Confirm your spot on the link above** to make it happen! We prioritize a balance of gender and age. If you're invited you'll receive a confirmation within 48 hours via Luma (our ticketing platform)
***NOTE***: We won't validate your payment unless you've been accepted! (which you most likely will ❤️)
**🧧 HOW MUCH IS IT?**
The cost to attend is $10 (early llama) - $12 (general) and includes the following:
⏰ 3 hours of facilitated and curated activities
🙌🏽 Access to the Llamas in Buenos Aires Community on WhatsApp
👥 A space to meet new people in the least boring way possible
💛 Supporting our mission to spread human connection events around the world
*(🎫 we also cover those annoying **ticket fees**!)*
**🌳 WHERE IS IT?**
We host our events in awesome bars & parks across the city. *We only **reveal the location** upon confirmation (or 25 before if it's in a park).* This event will take place in a nice **park** in Palermo.
📣 **IMPORTANT**: An RSVP on Meetup does **NOT** **confirm** your spot. 🎟️
**💛 WHAT THEY SAY**
🗣 “This is the kind of activity **humanity needs every weekend**. Thank you for all.” - *Sonya*
🗣 “Great way to connect with people in a more meaningful way. Get to the heart of the matter, dive straight into what really counts!” - Matthias
🗣 “F\*ck the Small Talk changes the narrative from "Where are you from?" to "When was the last time you laughed uncontrollably?" and I think that's beautiful.” - Monika
🗣 “I loved F\*ck the Small Talk, I was a little bit nervous at first but they are pros at making you feel comfortable with the rest of the group, the activities are really fun and I enjoyed every second (consider that the one who's saying this is very, very shy). Give it a try!” - Brenda
🗣 "It’s a wonderful experience, it’s like being a kid again, when you were at the park, playing with other kids, and just decided you were going to be best friends for the next hours. Maybe you’ll never see those kids again. But that hour was amazing because you both opened up and trusted each other." - Sara

**🤓 FAQ**
**• Can I come alone?**
Of course, we encourage it :) 99% of people do!
**• I signed up but never got an invite. Why?**
We usually get a high volume of sign-ups yet we like to keep it cozy & only invite around 25-30 people. Please try again next time if you do not receive an invite - no hard feelings 💛
**• Why do you charge?**
We value our time and put a lot of love, planning, and effort into creating & designing these experiences. ♥️ This is our project/business and what we give to the world and we think everything should be a fair exchange! 🎈 However, money should never be the reason for people not to attend. If you can’t afford it send us a message!
**• Can I bring my pet llama?**
100% yes, any *well-behaved* pets are highly encouraged as long as you can still focus on connecting with the humans around you! Especially llamas. Please confirm with us beforehand.

Cultural Crossroads in the Park
Join us every other Sunday at Parque Las Heras in Palermo for Cultural Crossroads in the Park, a fun and inclusive meetup led by Dr. Zachary McKinley, a cultural researcher from the USA.
Kicking off at 3:00 pm with 30 minutes of casual networking, this gathering invites you to grab a coffee or mate beforehand and connect with fellow participants. At 3:30, Dr. McKinley will guide a 1.5-hour collaborative group discussion exploring cultural dimensions and their profound influence on thoughts, behaviors, perceptions, and communication styles across borders.
Whether you're a local, an expat, or just curious about the richness of cultural diversity, this event is your opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and broaden your understanding of the world. All are welcome; however, **the conversation will be entirely in English**, as the host does not speak fluent Spanish.
Note: To stay safe and hydrated, please bring bug spray, sunscreen/hat, and something to drink (such as mate/coffee/tea/etc.). A blanket to sit on is recommended but not required.

### 🌈 **Saturdays just got better.**
Let’s face it — meeting new people as an adult is weird, awkward, and sometimes straight-up intimidating.

No pressure. No scripts. No “networking voice.”
Just real people, good energy, and conversations that actually go somewhere.
Come grab a seat, chat with someone new, flirt if the vibe is right 😉, and enjoy that magic moment when strangers start feeling like friends.
No minimum consumption — just bring your vibe, your curiosity, and let the night flow.
Expect:
✨ Multilingual chaos
✨ Cultural surprises
✨ Genuine laughs
✨ Unexpected chemistry
✨ And that “how are we just meeting now?” feeling
This isn’t networking.
This isn’t speed dating.

Vas a encontrar:
✨ Caos lingüístico
✨ Choques culturales divertidos
✨ Risas reales
✨ Conexiones inesperadas
✨ Y ese famoso “¿cómo recién nos estamos conociendo?”
