This hike picks up the trail where we left it on March 8, in Culemborg. We then crossed the river Lek. We will now continue southwards to the river Linge, over mostly unpaved (and sometimes muddy) paths. With some luck, we will see apple, pear and cherry trees in full bloom, as they grow abundantly in this area. **Meeting time and place**: we will meet at **10.15am** at train station Culemborg. Hi everyone! For those who want to enjoy a particularly unique adventure in (mostly) nature, you're welcome to join me in this special Easter hiking excursion! Pay attention, the route is 40km so it's not absolutely hike beginners. For first-timers (and as a helpful reminder 😉), I recommend that you wear a comfy outfit & shoes and bring (lots of) water & a snack or two. At some points during the excursion, we will do breaks to rest and eat/drink for a while. But expect a steady pace faster than the normal hikes but not powerhiking pace.
