The Minority Report
The Minority Report is a weekly stand-up comedy show about identity, culture, and the expat experience.
Are you a minority in Europe? Did something weird, awkward, or low-key offensive happen to you this week?
This is the space to vent your feelings about it.
Every week, comedians Bryan Lee and Moe Singleton take the stage to unpack life as outsiders, offering their unique commentary on topics like race, masculinity, relationships, and life between cultures.
Add weekly special guest comedians and “question time” with the audience, and you’ve got Berlin’s most unhinged comedy experience.
🎟️ Want to warm up before the show?
Check out our comedy workshop – a beginner-friendly stand-up class with Bryan and Moe, hosted just before the show.
Wedding 5/10k Run
Let's run! Our run takes about 1 hour depending on the route and group. Feel free to meet us along the way, just drop something in the comments and we'll wait for you. Our pace is typically 5:30 to 6:00 min/km. We use a variation of this [Route](https://www.komoot.com/tour/2732798543?ref=aso&share_token=aXVmX5lCo50qTJ7FreHN8b1RnApJMafPX4xUG5rXW49cso0BL8maybe) that allows for people to drop out at 5k when we pass the starting point again. Even if nobody signs up here there will usually be regulars at the start, just drop by! Please try to arrive on time! Message me if you want to join the Whatsapp group for coordinating.
We do NOT have a place to store your bag(s)/clothes.
Boardgames at Drehmoment Bar, Wedding
**Hello every boardgame enjoyer!**
We'll continue our weekly boardgame evenings every Wednesday in Drehmoment (Glasgower Str. 29, 13349 Berlin) from 19:00. You are all invited to join us!
You can expect a lot of fun light games suitable for the location. We have a small library of games you are free to use (but you are also encouraged to bring your own). The games are fast so feel free to join any time! Gamers of all experience levels are welcome.
Drehmoment is a classic Berlin bar, they offer varius drinks and have the best cocktails in Wedding. We have a big room in the back just for us. We are allowed to bring your own food and they have snacks for sale.
A couple of ground rules that we take seriously:
1. We are guests at Drehmoment, please treat their staff with respect.
2. There is no entry fee but please support the bar by buying drinks or snacks while you are playing.
3. Be efficient in your seating and kind to other patrons.
See you on Wednesday
Yin Yang & Sound for Vegus Nerve- EN
Yin Yang & Sound for Vagus Nerve is a balanced class that combines gentle movement with deep relaxation to support the nervous system.
The session begins with slow, active Yang-style movements to build light strength, improve circulation, and awaken the body. It then transitions into longer-held Yin poses that help release deep tension, especially around the spine, hips, and shoulders.
Throughout the class, soothing sound elements such as singing bowls or handpan are used to calm the mind and support vagus nerve activation.
This practice helps reduce stress, improve relaxation, and restore balance. You leave feeling calm, grounded, and deeply restored

Special: Beer Garden Round 🍻
Dear CTO Roundtable Community,
I'm happy to share that, outside of our regular event schedule, we're organizing a special CTO Roundtable gathering.
This time, we're keeping it simple: **25 seats in a beer garden, no panel, no agenda.**
Just a relaxed evening to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, share experiences, and learn from one another as tech leaders.
This special event is made possible thanks to our sponsor, **Stephan Schmidt**, founder of **[AmazingCTO](https://www.amazingcto.com/)**. Thank you, Stephan, for making this gathering possible.
We're looking forward to spending a summer evening together with great conversations, technology leadership discussions, good drinks, and valuable connections.
**Spots are limited to 25 participants**, so be sure to reserve your place early.
We hope to see you there!
Best regards,
Christoph

Filmmakers & Movie Nerds Meetup #188
Curious what we do? Check our [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/filmmakersandmovienerds/) ♥️
Would you like to meet some like-minded filmmakers? Start a project? Or do you need help with a movie you are currently working on? Are you new in the city and you'd like to meet people tinkering with movies?
**Then you should join us!**
We meet every Sunday. It’s important to us that we get to know each other in person. To create a community of connected people, work, learn and grow together. For film making you need a crew of reliable people with a positive can-do-attitude. This is the place to find them.
Together, we will talk about these topics:
* What you are currently working on
* What you need help with
* What would you like to help with
* What you you would like to learn
This is event is great for:
* filmmakers
* movie nerds
* writers
* camera operators
* editors
* actors
* sound recorders
* composers
* gaffers
* producers
We are limiting the amount of people, so we can have a structured introduction and discussion. After that we get together loosely with some drinks and chats. And then we mostly go for dinner with a couple of us.
**Important information**:
*To sustain and grow this amazing community, we started a member contribution that is due every month. The money we collect is used solely for the purpose of the community. Of course you can come once or twice without contributing to check us out!*
Let's discuss Obsession
Hi, this time we are discussing the new horror film Obsession by Curry Barker
[https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt37287335/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk](https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt37287335/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)
Looking forward to meet and as usual please only rsvp if youre really planning to join :)
you can ask at the bar to find us, there is a table reserved under my name (Gregor) usually we are sitting outside.
@ Anna Blume - A cozy book swap and chat meetup!
The "classical" bookswap is simple:
* We meet in a café and put the book(s) we brought down on the tables.
* We go around to browse and discuss the books with one another while sipping coffee or hot chocolate, or eating cake.
* We write our names down on any books we’d like to take home (post-its and pens provided).
* At the end of the evening, negotiate any books that are contended and take a new-to-you book home!
Books/happiness shared are books/happiness multiplied! A Bookswap is 10 times better than a Book Club because you can talk about ALL the books instead of just one!
This is a great way to give your books a new home and make room for new books: that book you feel guilty for not having read even though it's been sitting on your bedside table for the last 5 years, the book you liked but didn't love, the book you loved so much you want everyone to read it, the book you somehow own three copies of, that book you absolutely hated even though everyone else loves it, and so on.
Moreover, you will meet fellow readers, get a new book or two, and several book recommendations. We’ve often had readers experience books they wouldn't normally buy and enjoy it.
GROUP EXPECTATIONS for PLEASANT SWAPPING
* Please bring a book! It's not that you bring one you take one, but do try your best to bring something.
* Books stay on the tables, open for sharing, until you are ready to leave so that everyone can have a look. We are notably not first come first serve. Please wait until you are leaving to bag the book.
* If two or more people want the only copy of a book, negotiate. Maybe one of you reads it first and then gives it to the others. Or perhaps they have found another book instead. Or leave it to fate and toss a coin. The best part: now you have found somebody whose taste you can really admire. In any case, please don't walk away with a book with several names on it without letting the others know.
These negotiations are fun and easy, so don't shy away from a book because there's already a name on it, and feel free to put your name on as many books as you find interesting. It's not that you bring one you take one; you may take as many as you can negotiate.
* Political discussions with consent: make sure the people you are talking to would like to have a political discussion with you.
* Please respect this space as first and foremost a community for connecting readers over their love of books and reading, stories, and narratives of all sorts. Please be respectful of tastes and opinions.
* If something is bothering you, please reach out to the organizers, and we'll do our best to resolve it.
* Lastly, don't expect your book back. It will find a new home. If you love it, let it go.
Major LANGUAGES (and genres) of this meetup: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian; Fiction, Non-Fiction, Serious Reading, Light Fun, “classics", Krimis, Booker winners, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Self-Help and more. You never know who can read what languages, and there's no accounting for taste.
We are a delightful and international group of readers.
We look forward to swapping with you!

Your identity will remain confidential, your concern will be taken seriously, and no inappropriate behavior is tolerated — anyone making others feel uncomfortable will be removed from the group immediately.
We hope to see you there. Bring yourself, your smile, drawing materials, your stories—or just your comfy self.
Let’s make Saturday a little more laid-back, a little more social and a lot more nice.
See you soon!

\- Woher kommt meine Eifersucht?
Welche Dynamiken auftauchen.

Neurodivergent Workshop with Futurium: What the future holds
This interactive workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to actively engage with and reflect upon the possibilities of tomorrow.
**Organized in collaboration with [Futurium](https://futurium.de/en)**[,](https://futurium.de/en) the session is designed to be participatory, blending reflection, discussion, and creative hands-on activities.
**Location:** **[Futurium](https://maps.app.goo.gl/uqRAq7npeFKubvbu5)**, see the workshop room on the map attached in this event.
📸 We will be documenting the event. However, we will fully anonymize all participants by covering faces with stickers in the final media. If you’d prefer not to be in any shot at all, you are welcome to step away briefly during those moments.
**What to expect:**
* **Introduction (approx. 20 minutes)**
We begin with a journey into the past—examining historical postcards from the 19th and early 20th centuries that depict imagined futures. Participants are invited to explore and discuss these images together, considering what feels surprising, what turned out to be accurate, and how past visions compare to the technologies we know today.
**Optionally,** we will also screen a short video featuring young people from 1966 sharing their predictions for the year 2000—offering an additional prompt for reflecting on how future visions are shaped by their historical and cultural context.
* **Interactive Exchange (approx. 20 minutes)**
Next, participants take part in a guided “opinion swap” exercise using prompt cards. This dynamic format encourages movement, discussion, and the exchange of diverse perspectives within the group—making space for a wide range of voices and viewpoints.
* **Creative Activity (approx. 20 minutes)**
To close, the group will collaborate on designing an “object from the future.” This hands-on exercise invites participants to imagine possible developments and express their ideas creatively—turning abstract speculation into tangible, shared visions.
**About the Organizers:**
This workshop is organized by[ Futurium](https://futurium.de/en) in collaboration with the Berlin Neurodivergent Community. Please keep in mind that all of berlin neurodivegrent community organizers are neurodivergent volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and resources to make this event possible. We kindly ask for your patience, kindness, and mutual respect throughout the session—we are here to learn, share, and create together in a supportive environment.
We look forward to welcoming you and exploring the future—together!
