Join us for a 6-7 km run. We start at Espresso House at Oranienburger Tor station and run towards and along the river. We turn back after about 3.5km. We will be at a steady pace between 6 and 6.30 minutes per km. 🥳 We will stand in front of the Espresso House, opposite of Medios Apotheke. We will leave at 7am sharp so please be there on time. An *electric* atmosphere featuring visiting pros and some of the best comedians in Berlin at the city's longest-running weekly show. There's no such thing as a bad Chuckleheads; it's as consistent as it gets. Come and find out why we have more regulars than any comedy show in Berlin. The right mix of lively yet laid-back energy in an intimate setting, with well-curated line ups. We're gonna have another Game Creators Hangout! The Hangout is a place where those who create games or are interested in it meet up and talk about whatever they like. Its a place for the community, but also to connect people from different communities. It does not matter whether you're a veteran game dev, just started school or just dabble in creating games in your free time - all of you are welcome here. The "classical" bookswap is simple: * We meet in a café and put the book(s) we brought down on the tables. * We go around to browse and discuss the books with one another while sipping coffee or hot chocolate, or eating cake. * We write our names down on any books we’d like to take home (post-its and pens provided). * At the end of the evening, negotiate any books that are contended and take a new-to-you book home! Books/happiness shared are books/happiness multiplied! A Bookswap is 10 times better than a Book Club because you can talk about ALL the books instead of just one! This is a great way to give your books a new home and make room for new books: that book you feel guilty for not having read even though it's been sitting on your bedside table for the last 5 years, the book you liked but didn't love, the book you loved so much you want everyone to read it, the book you somehow own three copies of, that book you absolutely hated even though everyone else loves it, and so on. Moreover, you will meet fellow readers, get a new book or two, and several book recommendations. We’ve often had readers experience books they wouldn't normally buy and enjoy it. GROUP EXPECTATIONS for PLEASANT SWAPPING * Please bring a book! It's not that you bring one you take one, but do try your best to bring something. * Books stay on the tables, open for sharing, until you are ready to leave so that everyone can have a look. We are notably not first come first serve. Please wait until you are leaving to bag the book. * If two or more people want the only copy of a book, negotiate. Maybe one of you reads it first and then gives it to the others. Or perhaps they have found another book instead. Or leave it to fate and toss a coin. The best part: now you have found somebody whose taste you can really admire. In any case, please don't walk away with a book with several names on it without letting the others know. These negotiations are fun and easy, so don't shy away from a book because there's already a name on it, and feel free to put your name on as many books as you find interesting. It's not that you bring one you take one; you may take as many as you can negotiate. * Political discussions with consent: make sure the people you are talking to would like to have a political discussion with you. * Please respect this space as first and foremost a community for connecting readers over their love of books and reading, stories, and narratives of all sorts. # SUPERDATE ## Die Dating-Auktion für außergewöhnliche Dates ✨ Kein Swipen. Keine peinlichen Speeddating-Runden. Keine oberflächlichen „Hi, wie geht’s?“-Gespräche. SUPERDATE ist ein neues interaktives Dating-Event in Berlin für Menschen, die Lust auf echte Begegnungen, gute Gespräche und einen besonderen Sommerabend haben. An diesem Abend geht es nicht nur darum, jemanden kennenzulernen. Es geht darum, wieder neugierig auf Begegnungen zu werden. ## Worum geht es? Bei SUPERDATE bringen Männer ihre kreativsten, romantischsten, lustigsten oder außergewöhnlichsten Ideen für ein erstes Date mit. Zum Beispiel: * Frühstück im Riesenrad * Bootstour mit Sonnenuntergang * Picknick mit Überraschung * Spaziergang am Wasser mit anschließendem Lieblingsessen * ein kleines Abenteuer in der Stadt Die Dates dürfen das Budget von 500 € nicht übersteigen. Das macht es einfacher die Dates miteinander zu vergleichen. Die Frauen haben 1000 fiktive Punkte und vergeben an diesem Abend 250 Punkte für die Superdate-Ideen, noch bevor sie wissen, welcher Mann hinter welchem Date steckt. Denn manchmal verliebt man sich zuerst in eine Idee. In ein Gefühl. In ein mögliches Abenteuer. ## So läuft der Abend ab Du kommst an, bekommst einen Begrüßungsdrink, ein Namensschild und etwas zum Notieren. Dann beginnt der moderierte Teil des Abends. Auf der Bühne werden die Superdate-Ideen vorgestellt, zunächst anonym. Die Frauen bekommen fiktive Punkte und entscheiden, welche Date-Ideen sie besonders neugierig machen. Erst danach wird aufgelöst, welcher Mann hinter welchem Superdate steckt. Die restlichen 750 Punkte werden vergeben sobald alle Männer von der Bühne gegangen sind. Gibt es mehr als 1 Kandidatin, darf der Mann eine qualifizierte Frage stellen und mit max. 2 Damen im Anschluss ins Gespräch gehen. Nach spätestens 30 Minuten wird bekannt gegeben, welche Paar die Superdates miteinander erleben werden. If you’d prefer not to be in any shot at all, you are welcome to step away briefly during those moments. **What to expect:** * **Introduction (approx. 20 minutes)** We begin with a journey into the past—examining historical postcards from the 19th and early 20th centuries that depict imagined futures. Participants are invited to explore and discuss these images together, considering what feels surprising, what turned out to be accurate, and how past visions compare to the technologies we know today. **Optionally,** we will also screen a short video featuring young people from 1966 sharing their predictions for the year 2000—offering an additional prompt for reflecting on how future visions are shaped by their historical and cultural context. * **Interactive Exchange (approx. 20 minutes)** Next, participants take part in a guided “opinion swap” exercise using prompt cards.
