**Discussion: Should the Right to Vote Be Universal? Exploring Democracy, Inclusion, and Limits** For decades, voting has been celebrated as a cornerstone of democracy: the right that gives citizens a voice in shaping the laws, policies, and leadership that affect their lives. In many countries, the principle of universal suffrage has been hard-won through struggles for equality and inclusion. Yet the question of who should vote is increasingly debated.
