We invite you to join our weekly Evenings of Meditation, to gently meet yourself, dissolve stress and live life from beautiful inner states, like calm, joy and connection.
These gatherings are not just about meditating on your own, but a step inward we take together. Each time we’ll look into a particular topic in the light of timeless wisdom, reflect on it in a guided meditation, do powerful Oneness practices for greater wellbeing, and experience Deeksha - which helps to speed up your inner growth.

**A Slow Sunday Morning with Stories**
The **Sunday 15 Pages Short Story Book Club** is a gentle way to begin the day — a cozy literary gathering for people who enjoy slowing down, listening to stories, and sharing thoughtful conversation.
Instead of reading alone at home, we experience literature together. Each meeting invites us to step out of the Berlin’s rush into a calm space of imagination, reflection, and human connection through short fiction.

Nieplitz Spring Hike: Treuenbrietzen to Jüterbog (24 km)
Starting at Treuenbrietzen's train station, we soon enter an oak forest along the Nieplitz creek until we get to its spring.
Continuing through fields and villages, we pass by a former military airport that now hosts a go-kart track.
Before entering the town of Jüterbog where the hike ends, we may get the chance to explore a lost place.
Trains run every hour from Jüterbog to Berlin.
Meet us in the **first car of the train RE4**, departing from
**Südkreuz station at 10:15 on platform 5,**
**arriving at Jüterbog (Mark) at 10:54, then taking the Train RB33 at 11:11 to Treuenbrietzen (same platform).**
**There is an alternative connection from Potsdam. Make sure to arrive at Treuenbrietzen train station before 11:30**
Unless you are subscribed to the Deutschlandticket, you need to buy a train ticket to Treuenbrietzen.

Meditation & Tea in Hasenheide
This Sunday we’ll do a one-off special meetup in **Hasenheide Park**, and this time at 10 AM to avoid the afternoon heat.
We’ll return to the proven 20/20/20 format:

* 20 min samatha / calm concentration
* tea and discussion
* 20 min vipassana / open awareness
After sitting, we’ll stay for more tea and relaxed conversation in the park.

Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease.
This walk is a simple reset.
We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment.
No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening.
If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk.

My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction.
🤔 **Why Chitta Walks?**
Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense.
Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world.
The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it.

A calmer nervous system.

A felt sense of being more present in your body.

Originally published in 1881, this witty and remarkably modern novel is narrated by Brás Cubas himself — from beyond the grave. Through irony, sharp social observation, and playful philosophical reflections, Machado de Assis creates a narrator who looks back on his life, ambitions, failures, and the society around him with both humor and melancholy. Considered one of the great classics of Brazilian literature, the novel feels surprisingly contemporary in its style and spirit.

The Unity of Columbus Resource Group for the Homeless is seeking compassionate volunteers who would like to help serve and uplift members of our homeless community. This group is dedicated to sharing kindness, resources, and support with individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances. Anyone with a heart for service is welcome to join us as we work together to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Community members are also invited to contribute by bringing helpful items for those in need. Donations of items can be contributed at the meeting and will be distributed to assist members of the homeless community. Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country.
