* **20:00 ā Open End:** Networking
**"Sales Copilot: Turn complex technical inquiries into clear, accurate offers in minutes, not hours!"**
*Speaker:* **Alexander Matev**, CISO at Bytesource
*About the talk:*
Sales CoPilot as a solution that helps teams turn complex technical customer inquiries into clear, accurate quotations much faster, reducing turnaround from hours to minutes.
The business problem: technical sales requests are slow, difficult, and error-prone when handled manually.
The Solution: Our Sales CoPilot interprets complex requirements, works with documentation and technical data, and supports offer preparation.
Technology foundation: strong emphasis on AWS as the enabler, plus AI/LLM-driven processing.
Architecture choice: a set of core AWS services to deliver both the user-facing application and the AI-powered data processing pipeline. Amazon S3 stores uploaded product datasheets and hosts the frontend assets, while Amazon CloudFront accelerates and securely delivers the web interface to users.
Incoming application traffic is routed through an Application Load Balancer (ALB) to containerized services running on Amazon ECS, which handle both backend business logic and document ingestion tasks.
For AI capabilities, Amazon Bedrock is used in two places: to extract and transform structured information from PDF datasheets, and to power the agentic logic behind the application.
Persistent structured data is stored in Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, which supports read/write operations from the backend.
Together, these AWS services provide a scalable, cloud-native architecture for hosting, processing, AI enrichment, and application delivery.
###
**"Beyond Vibe Coding"**
*Speaker:* **Sergio Lopez-Gehler**, Solutions Architect @ AWS
AI agents are changing how engineers write, test, and ship code. This talk explores what agentic coding looks like in practice ā the workflow, the tradeoffs, and the tools that make it work.
We'll cover how to collaborate effectively with AI agents: prompting, reviewing, iterating, and knowing when to take over. We'll look at what changes when development gets significantly faster ā testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and team coordination all need to keep up. Then we'll introduce Kiro, an agentic IDE that uses spec-driven development, steering rules, and hooks to let engineers define how the agent operates within their codebase. We'll also look at AWS DevOps Agent ā an autonomous operations teammate that correlates metrics, logs, and deployment history to investigate incidents and identify root causes before you even open your laptop.

The Psychology and Personal Growth Circle: Antifragile by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
Welcome to our cozy **The Psychology and Personal Growth Circle** which is part of the Social Book Club!
We will meet to discuss the book ā**Antifragile**" (426 pages) written by Nassim Nicholas Taleb.
The idea is to connect with like minded readers that love to grow and get to know themselves better through reading and especially applying knowledge from books.
We meet up once a month and talk about our progress applying knowledge from a certain book and our experience.
The event will take place at the volunteer organisation **MUT**.
It is an organisation to supports humans, animals and the environment especially in Vienna.
MUT or the Social Book Club look forward to some donation to cover the cost of this event.
If you would like to help, please bring some cash with you.
Book Description:
In The Black Swan Taleb outlined a problem; in *Antifragile* he offers a definitive solution: how to gain from disorder and chaos while being protected from fragilities and adverse events. For what he calls the "antifragile" is one step beyond robust, as it benefits from adversity, uncertainty and stressors, just as human bones get stronger when subjected to stress and tension.
See you then!
All the best

UX VIENNA at home with Arnold Schƶnberg
Arnold Schƶnberg (1874ā1951) was one of the most significant figures in the creative world in the first half of the 20th century. Following in the tradition of Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and Mahler, the Austrian (and, after his immigration to New York and later Los Angeles, also US-American) composer, music theorist, teacher, and writer reshaped the practice of harmony in classical music. Some of Schƶnbergās most famous contributions were the development of his twelve-tone-method and his attention to sound color (Klangfarbe), both of which strongly influenced generations of composers up until today.
But Schƶnbergās creative world goes beyond music. He was a designer, painter, inventor, and systems thinker: building tools and furniture, binding books, designing stage sets and costumes, inventing machines, and even building his own chess set, for four players.
In this meetup, we explore Schƶnberg through a UX lens: what can his way of thinking, making, and problem-solving teach us about design, tools, and user experience today? We will also look at the museum and concert space as an experience that unfolds through the perception of an audience.
The [Arnold Schƶnberg Center](https://schoenberg.at/) is a repository of Schƶnberg's archival legacy. Director Dr. Ulrike Anton will provide an introduction to the Arnold Schƶnberg Center. User researcher Dr. Franziska Brunner will give us a guided tour and lead a discussion of the exhibition. Arnold Schƶnberg's estate is on [UNESCOās Memory of the World Register](https://www.unesco.at/en/communication/documentary-heritage/memory-of-the-world-in-austria/arnold-schoenberg-estate), recognized for its global importance as a documentary heritage.
After an afternoon in the museum space from 3:00ā6:00 p.m.. We also invite you to attend an [in-house concert at 6:30 p.m](https://schoenberg.at/en/events/upcoming-events/3793/loops-from-other-planets)., followed by dinner. š» š½ļø
* The ā¬18 concert price includes entrance to the exhibit. (Entrance to just the exhibit without the concert costs ⬠6.)
* Admission for both the museum and the concert is free for those under 26 years old.
* Dinner afterwards is optional, and everyone will cover their own meal.

šBaden Pride Fundraiser ā Dragsau Kollektiv Showš
https://villavida.at/event/pride-drag-fundraiser-baden-pride-villa-vida/
We are thrilled to return to Villa Vida CafƩ for the third edition of our community drag fundraiser supporting the Pride parade in Baden bei Wien. After two joyful and high-energy nights, we are back once again to celebrate queer creativity, solidarity, and collective pride.
This special evening is a collaboration between the **[Baden Pride Verein](https://www.instagram.com/baden_pride/)** and **[Dragsau Kollektiv](https://www.instagram.com/dragsaukollektiv/)**, bringing together performers and organisers who believe that drag should be bold, political, joyful, and accessible. The event also highlights disabled drag artists and places accessibility at the heart of the show, creating a space where more members of our community can both perform and participate.
Expect a vibrant lineup of drag performances, powerful stage moments, and plenty of sparkle, all in support of Pride Baden and its ongoing work to create visible, inclusive Pride celebrations outside of Vienna. Every donation helps support the Pride parade in Baden bei Wien and strengthens queer community organising in the region.
Whether you are a long-time drag fan or simply curious to experience the magic for the first time, come celebrate with us, cheer for incredible performers, and help us raise funds for Pride.
More details about performers and the programme will be announced soon.
Come early, grab a drink, and get ready for a night of unforgettable drag, community energy, and Pride spirit.
To make sure everyone has a seat and enough space to move around comfortably, we ask all guests to reserve a spot through the registration form.
Seating will be arranged in **cinema-style rows (not at tables)** to allow clearer pathways and easier movement in the room. This setup helps create more accessible space for wheelchair users, mobility aids, and anyone who may need extra room.

š **Hello everyone,**
Join us at the stroke of midnight (or perhaps slightly earlier) for a journey through the eras. Weāll be pairing the cinematic magic of the 1920s with a curated selection of wines that bridge the gap between the Old World and the New.
The movie: [Midnight in Paris](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAfR8omt-CY)
After a "welcome glass" of wine we are going to try the following tasty wines:
**š· Rose Wines**

2\. France: Hecht & Bannier CƓtes de Provence RosƩ 2025
**š· Red Wine** š®š¹

4\. Spain: Casa del Rey Gran Reserva 2016
5\. Australia: Cabernet Shiraz 2024
6\. Italy: Barbanera Vecciano Collezione Privata 2023
### š¬ Featured Film: Midnight in Paris
Step into the rainy streets of the City of Light with this enchanting, Academy Award-winning tale of nostalgia and discovery.
The story follows Gil Pender, a disillusioned Hollywood screenwriter who wanders the cobblestone alleys of Paris, searching for the inspiration to finish his first novel. When the clock strikes twelve, a mysterious vintage car appears, whisking Gil away on a journey through time to the 1920s "Golden Age." As he rubs elbows with legendary icons like Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Salvador DalĆ, Gil begins to realize that while the past is intoxicating, the real magic happens when we embrace the present. Itās a love letter to art, history, and the idea that some thingsālike a good story or a fine vintageāonly get better with time.

Sunday Screenings in the Living Room
Weekly screenings from a large archive of many of the most significant, yet seldom seen and rarely accessible cinematic masterpieces in the history of film - from its earliest beginnings to the present day. Screenings are in original language, if English, or original language with English subtitles.
Films are selected democratically on the inspiration of a brief pre-screening discussion. The selected title is typically a "neglected gem" that most of us discover together for the first time. Individual taste is not a criterion and all participants are expected to put the interests of the group as a whole above personal preference or prejudice. In this sense, the emphasis is on openness, exploration, and surprise. Each screening is followed by an in-depth group discussion, led and moderated by the curator.
WARNNG: FilmStory is not just about watching movies! Rather, it's a socially responsible, intellectual engagement, involving an organic approach to group study of film language, philosophy, art, history, politics, and technology. In this sense, the film is always merely the current highlight in an explorative, ongoing group discussion.
**FilmStory** is a members-only series that involves a closely knit community of cinephiles. Events take place every Sunday in a comfortable, private setting with limited capacity. Participation is reserved primarily for regular members, but we're always ready to make new friends!
Non-regular members may request to meet the community and, upon acceptance as a "new joiner," are welcome to participate in one event, according to space availability. New joiners are asked to make a ā¬6 member dues contribution in advance of the requested date. New members receive a message of confirmation and the address of the Living Room in 1080 Vienna upon receipt of their dues contribution.
**FilmStory** is presented and hosted by **[KulturSalon Wien](https://www.meetup.com/kultursalon-wien/)**.

City Lights (1931)
"The SOB is a ballet dancer. Heās the best ballet dancer that ever lived, and if I get a good chance Iāll kill him with my bare hands." - W.C. Fields
In *City Lights*, Chaplin's Little Tramp meets a blind girl selling flowers who mistakes him for a wealthy man. When he learns that an operation may restore her sight, he sets off to earn the money she needs to have the surgery. He also befriends an alcoholic millionaire who only recognizes him when he is drunk. When the blind girl and her grandmother fall behind in the rent and face eviction, he tries working and even enters a boxing competition to raise the money they need.
Regarded as Chaplin's masterpiece, *City Lights* has been ranked on more than seventeen "100 greatest movies of all time" lists. Orson Welles cited it as his favorite picture.
*City Lights* is available for streaming on Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBOMax, Tubi and PlutoTV. The Columbus Library lists three copies on blu-ray and eight copies on DVD. Watch the movie on your own, then join us upstairs at East Market to discuss the film.

Slate Run Metro Park and Living Historical Farm
**Hike Slate Run Metro Park and visit the Living Historical Farm. We will aim for 3.5 to 4 miles of hiking and then do a quick pass through the Living Historical Farm. From there those who are interested can join for lunch at Brewdog, 96 Gender Way, Canal Winchester, just 11 minutes away.**
**If youād like to spend more time at the Farm plan on arriving early (they open at 9).**
**Living Historical Farm: Time has been turned back to the 1880s at Slate Run Living Historical Farm. Experience first-hand what life was like on a 19th-century Ohio farm. As you stroll through the gardens, barns and farmhouse, you will see the farmās costumed staff and volunteers going about their daily chores. Pigs, geese, turkeys, Percheron horses and other heirloom animals can be seen.**
**The gothic revival farmhouse was built in 1856 and restored by Metro Parks for authenticity. Visitors can tour the living room, parlor and kitchen and watch the farm ladies prepare meals on a woodburning stove and tend the house. The multi-bay barn was built by Samuel Oman, the fourth owner of Slate Run Farm, and restored by Amish carpenters.**
**Allow at least three hours and maybe more if you're joining for lunch.**
**Pace is 17-18 minute miles with no one left behind. Faster walkers are free to lead - I'll have the route well defined - and we can meet up at the farm.**
**This is the fourth of the metro parks.**
