There's a new serie of events called "Coffee&Chat!" with this purpose in mind, to practise languages and socialise within a smaller group of people in a welcoming, easy-going setting. What to expect: The event will take place in a lovely cafe in Moscova. Before you decide to attend the event, there are a few things you should bear in mind: ✋If English is the language you want to practise, please try to speak it as much as you can, same thing if you want to learn Italian. If you're struggling, we'll help you and of course you can check on the internet if you don't know the meaning of a word. We're here to support each other, learn and have a good time! 🛑The 2 no-show rule: if you rsvp to confirm you're attending and on the day of the event you haven't let us know you're cancelling, if this happens 2 times, you'll be removed from the group. If you see that an event is full already, you can always rsvp on the event page to join the waiting list, if someone cancels, you might get in:) We recommend checking the Meetup app on a regular basis, as the notifications about new events or messages are not always available, unfortunately. Il format è quello di sempre: la nostra ora di Zumba, per sudare divertendoci, ridendo, twerkando, piangendo per i sedici affondi consecutivi su Blinding Lights...😅​😅​ E poi, la parte più dolce: un drink, un caffè, un Polase, qualsiasi cosa pur di fare due chiacchiere insieme e conoscerci meglio. La location cambia per questa volta e ci porta a Legano, circa 30 minuti da Milano, perchè lo scopo di MartiFlows è di portare le good vibes un po' dappertutto! Ricordati il tuo **asciugamano da sport** e **acqua** per reidratarti, **abbigliamento e scarpe sportivi** (ci sono gli spogliatoi, se devi cambiarti!) e... voglia di ricaricare le batterie! Ci troveremo **stazione a Legnano** per le **10:15,** e da lì raggiungeremo insieme la scuola di danza, che dista soli 10 minuti a piedi! Per coprire i costi di affitto della sala, ci sarà un **piccolo contributo** da versare: prenota il prima possibile per approfittare della prevendita per pagare la ***quota ridottissima***! E dopo l'esercizio, la parte più dolce: avremo sudato abbastanza da meritarci un bell'aperitivo: cerchiamo un localino carino e portiamo le good vibes anche fuori dalla palestra! Finito il brunch, abbiamo tante opzioni per scoprire il resto della città: pattinaggio sul ghiaccio o shopping in centro, una visita al Castello (leggermente distante dal centro, a 1,8 km dalla stazione) e un po' di yoga nel bellissimo Parco che lo circonda, oppure un giro al Mercato Settimanale che ha luogo proprio il sabato! ENG "New Year, New Me": what a better way to step into the new year than starting 2026 training, having fun and meeting new - supercool -people? And what about doing it while exploring Milan's surroundings? The format stays the same: we start with our usual zumba class - laughing, twerking, joking, feeling strong and full of energy! - also crying for the 16 lunges in the middle of "Blinding Lights"😅​😅​. And afterwards, the sweetest part: let's get a drink, a coffee, a multivitaminic supplement, whatever just to stay together and get to know each other more! The location changes for this time as MartiFlows literally flowwwws around trying to spread its energy and good vibes all around! So this time we will be in the beautiful town of **Legnano**, only **30 mins by train** from Milan! Bring a **sports towel** and **sport clothes and sneakers**. (there are changing rooms if you need them!) Don’t forget **water** to rehydrate — and your desire to recharge your energies to get ready for the new challenges of the year! We’ll meet at the railway station of Legnano **at 10:15 AM. From there, we'll get together to the dance studio (10 mins walking)** To cover the costs of the location rent, I'll ask a **symbolic contribution** for each participant! ***Early birds still available***! And after the event, the sweetest part: we'll had sweat A LOT: we will definitely deserve an aperitivo! let's choose a bar in the nice town centre and have some food and drink together! For those who want to explore the city, after the brunch there will be time to do it: **ice-skating** or **window shopping** in the centre, a visit to the beautiful **Castello** (a little bit further than the city centre), some **yoga** at the Park that surrounds the castle, or a tour of the Town Market, which takes place on Saturday very close to the castle.

Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above. There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change. The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM.
