2 for 1 DEAL: Decoden - Decorate with Charms
## **Decoden Workshop – Design your own charms & accessories**
The **Decoden Workshop** offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a playful and creative world and design **your own Decoden charms and accessories** . Decoden is a decorative technique that uses a creamy glue, colors, and cute charms. This results in unique designs that are both creative and individual. This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to try something new and achieve great results with minimal effort.
In the Decoden Workshop, you can **customize various objects according to your own style** .
A selection is available.
* **picture frame**
* **cases**
* **Handheld mirrors & table mirrors**
* **jewelry box**
* **hair clip**
You decide which object you want to decorate and how playful, colorful, or minimalist your design should be. Each piece is unique and reflects your personal creativity.
A major advantage of the Decoding Workshop is its **flexible duration** . You'll need approximately **15 to 30 minutes** per item , depending on the level of detail and design. This makes the workshop suitable for both short creative breaks and longer crafting sessions. You can also create several objects in succession if you'd like to try out different designs.
The **price starts at CHF 32 per item** . Included in the price are **one paint color and 20 charms** . All materials are provided, so you don't need to bring anything. You can get started right away and focus entirely on your creative work. If you'd like to use additional paint colors or charms, you can easily add them.
Beginners **are very welcome** . You don't need any prior knowledge to participate in the Decoden Workshop. I'll explain step by step how the technique works, how to apply the glue correctly, and how to place your charms so that your design looks harmonious. I'll be there to offer tips and support throughout the entire workshop.
It's important to note the **drying time** : The glue needs to set overnight to fully harden. Therefore, you have two options: You can leave your artwork with me and **pick it up later** once it's completely dry. Alternatively, you can carefully take your piece home and let it continue drying there.
**For whom?**
The decoding workshop is **suitable for everyone** – children, teenagers, and adults. It offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can be creative, unwind, and create something unique. Whether alone, with friends, or as a short creative break – this workshop is fun and guarantees quick success.
If you feel like combining charms, trying out colors and designing your own Decoden accessory, the **Decoden Workshop** is just right for you.

“Dopamine Nation” Book Discussion
We will meet to discuss Dopamine Nation, where Anna Lembke explores how dopamine drives pleasure, motivation, and addiction , and how modern life constantly overstimulates our reward system. From social media and shopping to work and achievement, we live in a world designed to keep us hooked, often leaving us anxious, depleted, or dissatisfied.
Our conversation will focus on the pleasure–pain balance and everyday addictions. See you in March !
2 for 1 DEAL: Punch Needle in Central Zürich
In this **Punch Needle workshop,** you'll transform simple threads into unique works of art. Punch Needle is a modern yet relaxing embroidery technique where loops are created in the fabric using a special needle. This results in textured, soft surfaces and impressive patterns. This workshop offers the perfect opportunity to learn Punch Needle or to bring your creative ideas to life – no prior experience necessary.
At the beginning of the Punch Needle workshop, you'll receive an **introduction to the basics of the technique** . I'll explain step by step how the punch needle works, which materials are used, and what you should pay attention to while stitching. You'll learn how to guide the thread correctly, create even loops, and neatly execute your design. The calm, repetitive movement of punch needle is particularly relaxing and perfect for unwinding from everyday life.
In the workshop, you have **two creative options** to choose from.
The first option is to select an **existing template** . These designs are especially suitable for beginners and guide you step-by-step through the embroidery process. You can concentrate fully on the technique and learn how to create a punch needle artwork from start to finish.
The second option is for those who **want to unleash their own creativity** . You can design your own pattern and then embroider it yourself. Whether simple shapes, patterns, lettering, or a free-form motif – you decide what you want to create. Here, too, you will receive individual guidance and support in planning and executing your design.
Throughout the entire Punch Needle workshop, you will **receive personal, step-by-step guidance** . It's important to me that all participants feel comfortable and can work without pressure. Questions are always welcome, and I'll help you find solutions if something doesn't work right away. The goal is to work with enjoyment and create a result you can be proud of.
All **materials are included in the workshop** . You'll receive the punch needle, fabric, frame, and a selection of threads in various colors. You don't need to bring anything except your creativity and enthusiasm for crafting. At the end of the workshop, you'll take your hand-stitched artwork home – ideal as a decoration or a personal gift.
**How long?**
1-2 hours
**For whom?**
The Punch Needle Workshop is **suitable for everyone** . Both children and adults are welcome. The course is aimed at beginners, but creative people with some experience can also gather new ideas and refine their technique. Punch Needle is easy to learn and offers quick results, which makes the workshop particularly motivating.
If you feel like trying something new, unwinding creatively and creating a work of art with your hands, this **Punch Needle Workshop** is just right for you.

ZH3 Hash # 1715: Saddam 40th Year Hashiversary
40th years of torturing hashers: Saddam 40th Year Hashiversary
Code share hash with WSH3's event. Meet at Winterthur Bahnhof, leave clothes in a locker. On after to be decided on the day - local or go back to Zürich.
Hare: Saddam. The trail has something for everyone - longish for runners, with short cuts for walkers. No desert, unfortunately, but there will be some other difficult terrain.
Background. The person now known as Saddam started hashing in Baghdad, Iraq in March 86. At the time Iraq was a dictatorship at war, so there were occasional disturbances from stone-throwing locals, armed police and Iranian Scud missiles.
Hopefully none of these turn up in Winterthur. Hopefully no flesh eating camel spiders either.
WHEN?
Meet at 1:45pm to start at 2:00pm. There will be a charge of CHF5.00 for participating.
/\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*/
Here's what you need to know about the Hash:
**All Welcome:**
If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know:
• Physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful.
• The aim is to find the 'Beer Stop' at the end of the 'trail' and have fun.
• 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running) and some over-achieving fast runners will go further.
• The 'Hare', which changes each event, cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time.
• There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change.
• After Trail, we group for \~30-45 minutes for drinks, snacks and some fun. This 'Circle' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark).
**Why bother leaving your warm sofa?**
If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing.
'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (Hashs) in most major cities. Its humour and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.*
We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups.

COLD WATER PLUNGE
Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive.
We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards.
The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet at the Mythenquai Badi entrance no matter the weather.
Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy.
The event is Free.
IMPORTANT:
Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event.
Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Safely acclimating the body to cold temperatures requires preparation and gradual exposure.

Free In-Person Meeting: Get Over Losses & Betrayals, Build Lasting Relationships
This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship.
Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action?
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships!
Break free from self imposed limitations
Here we will discuss:
• How to “erase” the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isn’t always repeating past mistakes.
• Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you?
• Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it?
• Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love?
• Fights & arguments - what's really behind them?
• What underlies “corrosive criticism” or the need to invalidate self or others?
• How one can stably change one’s outlook on life so they can affect positive change?
• Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them?
• How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about?
• How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career?
Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general.
Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become “toxic” personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you won’t be tripped up trusting the wrong person.
Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life.
We look forward to having you join us!
