There will be a basic talk about things to look for and specific things to shoot for each objective. * We will go over the map and then spend time walking the route stopping and shooting in each area. We will be walking for a total of about 2-2.5 hours. The main focus of the workshop is to learn about and gain more confidence shooting street photography with the bonus of exploring and seeing some interesting spots around Barcelona. * Once we're finished the route we will meet at a cafe (if we want!) to speak about the objectives, answer any questions and close with any comments or remarks. * In total we will spend about 2.5 hours in this street photography workshop. Other things to note * You should know the basics of photography and how your camera works. We'll discuss street photography techniques, not learning how to use cameras. * Bring the min amount of things required for a few hours of shooting. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary.
