Pasolini Corsaro
Pasolini Corsaro
Photo Walk Rome - Winter in Rome
Photo Walk Rome - Winter in Rome
Join us for a **Photo Walk** to explore some beautiful spots in Rome around **Villa Borghese.** **All levels of photographers are welcome.** You can bring your camera, smartphone, or any photography equipment you prefer. 1\. Reserve your SPOT on Meetup ASAP\, we have limited spots\. Please don't show up if you are not on the final list of attendees. If you can't make it, please move yourself to the not going list to allow people on the waiting list to move. 2\. Join our [WhatsApp group ](https://chat.whatsapp.com/LAuUWFrpk2o5EDX1t97Yhz?mode=hqrt3)It's very important to join to get live updates and live location. 3\. Follow us on Instagram [@takeaphotowalkcommunity](https://www.instagram.com/stories/takeaphotowalkcommunity/) where you'll find more information about our next events, as well as photos of the group and our walks. 4\. The photo walk will be in English 🇺🇸🇬🇧\. We have members from all over the world, we are an inclusive community 🤗❤️. **Some considerations:** 1\. We **are not** a WORKSHOP: if you want to learn how to use your camera, feel free to ask questions to the members of the community, but don't expect a full course. We host and organise specific workshops for this matter, we suggest checking our Instagram account for more information. 2\. This **is not** a CITY TOUR. If you are a tourist and you want a full walking tour with a personal guide, we suggest you book one of our private tours. DM us for more info. **We are** all **VOLUNTEERS**: If you join our activity, you have to follow the guidelines we will share on the WhatsApp group during the event. If there is a member of the community helping or hosting the photo walk, this person is not in charge of giving you personal instructions or looking for you if you get lost. Please follow the guide and be kind and respectful to the other members. **Who we are.** Take a Photo Walk is a community-based startup founded in July 2024 in Barcelona to connect photo lovers and content creators around the world. We organize and host our own photo walk meetups and private photo walks in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, London, Amsterdam and several cities in Europe. We're an open and inclusive community 🤗❤️ Feel free to join one of our events and bring your friends! **Data Protection: Regulations for Photos/Videos at Events.** When attending any events, policies regarding personal images often involve your consent and usage. Generally, private photos for personal use are acceptable, sharing them on social media may require consent if individuals are recognizable within the photo. You should tag the community and the individual in social media. If you're not comfortable being photographed or filmed, please let the group know before the event begins. **Remember to Contribute.** As an open group, we welcome contributions from anyone who wants to do more than just attend - whether it's planning events, leading a walk, or working on new projects. **This event is FREE, however we encourage a 10€ donation** [Paypal](https://paypal.me/takeaphotowalk?country.x=ES&locale.x=en_US) Why support us? Organizers pay for their Meetup subscription. They spend countless hours creating and running groups so that you can enjoy the events. Donations simply show your gratitude, and they're greatly appreciated.
Solo travellers: casual hangout in Rome (4pm)
Solo travellers: casual hangout in Rome (4pm)
**No pressure, no plan—just new friends** ✨ Whether you’re visiting Rome for the first time, recently relocated, or simply love connecting with curious people, this weekly meetup is the perfect way to share stories, make friends, and go explore, as a group, the magic that Rome has to offer 🇮🇹 **What to expect?** • **Casual & hostless**: no formal host, no schedule: just show up, be yourself, meet fellow solo travellers & expats and decide as a group where you feel like going • **Central meeting point**: it is surrounded by cultural landmarks, cafes, and restaurants, making it a convenient and safe starting point. • **Open to everyone**: whether you are a local, an expat or just passing through for a few days, you are welcome to join. (English is the primary language, but feel free to switch of course) **How to talk with strangers?** (and create meaningful connections) To help you get started, I curated a little game of **[ridiculously good questions](https://www.pierrebonvalot.com/theblog?p=285a9711d7df80d5ac25dd4ef8fe5394&pm=c)** you can ask to break the ice, shift the conversation from dull to intriguing and fun, and eventually create meaningful connection quickly. I hope this helps! **The only things you need to do are…** • Leave a message in the comment section to let the others know that you will actually be there (I don’t want you to end up alone there :) • If you can’t make it anymore, no problem! But please update your RSVP to let the others know • Please be gentle and patient with each other. We all want to make good friends here. **Why join?** • Meet open-minded travellers and locals who are keen to connect, learn and have fun together. • Experience Rome... as a group. • Be part of a global community that celebrates solo travelling and meaningful connections between foreign and locals. **How does it works?** 1\. Arrive at the meeting spot at the scheduled time\. 2\. Look for other joiners—friendly faces and curious explorers\. 3\. Introduce yourself\, connect with others\, and decide as a group where to go\. **When & where?** • Day: every Sunday • Time: 4:00 PM (meetup sometimes displays a different time zone: but it’s always 4pm local time) • Location: in front of the statue at Guglia di Pio IX **Hostless**: I am setting up the event for you all to meet, but I won't be there myself this time :) **Hi my names is Pierre** I created this Meetup group because I want to see more human connection happen in the real world. I feel many of us want this, but don't exactly know how to go about it. I hope this helps a little bit. I also work as a transformational coach: I help people who feel stuck in their life to reconnect with themselves, create real change and ultimately live more fulfilling lives. 🔗 bento.me/pierrebonvalot
