**18:45 - 19:15 - Turning a One-Off Fix into Org-Wide Automation** *by Rotem Gani / Efi Merdler-Kravitz / Chen Amrani*
Every engineering team has that moment - a repetitive, error-prone change that needs to be applied across dozens of repositories. Everyone knows it should be automated - but somehow it never is.
This talk tells the real story of how one such "annoying but necessary" fix evolved into a fully-fledged Github Copilot Agent powered automation platform used across our organization.
**19:15 - 19:45 - Decouple Your Decoupling: Level-up your GitHub workflows** *by Tom Brovender*
GitHub Actions has made it easy to automate almost anything, but building CI/CD that truly scales across many repositories and teams is still hard. As projects grow, pipelines tend to become tightly tied to specific repos, environments, and assumptions, which makes change slower and harder than it should be.
In this talk, I’ll share how to think about GitHub Actions in a more modular way, so teams can move faster without stepping on each other. You’ll see how small design choices in your workflows can make a big difference in how easy your CI/CD is to grow, maintain, and trust over time.

**Agenda (all sessions will be held in Hebrew):**
18:00 - **Meet & Mingle**
18:30 - **Opening words**
18:35 - **Performance Measurements in React** - **[Roi Garmizo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/roi-garmizo-2715a41b3/)**, Full Stack Developer @ Arpeely
In this talk, we’ll explore how React performs rendering and how to identify performance bottlenecks using the React Profiler. We’ll analyze a slow React app live and learn how to read and understand profiling recordings to pinpoint the root cause of performance issues. We’ll also take a quick look at more advanced profiling approaches and how to integrate them effectively into your day-to-day development workflow.
19:05 - **Atomic Design in UI application** - **[Iftah Saar](https://www.linkedin.com/in/iftah-saar/)**, Senior Frontend Developer
This presentation introduces Atomic Design, a methodology for structuring scalable UIs. It breaks down user interfaces into fundamental building blocks: atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, and pages. The approach ensures consistent and extensible UI design systems, guiding the creation of robust and organized interfaces.
19:35 - **Break**
19:50 - **What React Doesn't Want You to Know** - **[Nir Kaufman](https://www.linkedin.com/in/nirkaufman/)**, Tech Lead @ Tikal
React re-renders. A lot. Sometimes too much. And while the React team keeps pushing new hooks and compilers to fix what shouldn't have been broken, there's a pattern hiding in plain sight that other frameworks figured out years ago. In this talk, we'll peek behind the curtain, get our hands dirty building something React doesn't ship, and walk out with a secret weapon for surgical, minimal re-renders. No compiler required.
20:20 - Raffle! 3 Webstorm Licences and a FREE TICKET to [ReactNext Conference](http://www.react-next.com/)!

Ask Better Questions: User Interviews for PM
**User interviews are one of the most powerful tools product teams have - and also one of the most commonly misused.**
**Many interviews sound reasonable on the surface, but fail to produce insights that actually inform product decisions. This meetup, led by Nurit Gazit, together with Yarin L. (product design and product management mentor), Sharon Heller-Bar (Director of Product Design at Tipalti and UX research lecturer), and Aviram Marom (Senior Product Manager at [Riverside.fm](http://riverside.fm)), focuses on closing that gap.**
**We will go beyond theory and best-practice lists, and spend most of the time experiencing what good interview questions feel like in practice. We’ll break down why certain questions unlock real behavior and motivation while others quietly shut them down. You’ll see a live user interview, analyze it together, and actively practice crafting and asking better questions yourself.**
**The goal is simple: by the end of the session, participants should be able to recognize a strong interview question instantly - and know how to generate one under real-world constraints.**
**Agenda:**
* **18:30 - Assembling: Food, drinks & schmoozing!**
* **19:00 - Nurit Gazit and a special guests panel, Ask Better Questions: User Interviews for PM**
* **20:00 - More Schmoozing: Eating to the last bite, until they kick us out.**
**Our Speaker:**
**[Nurit Gazit:](https://www.linkedin.com/in/nuritgazit/)**
**Nurit Gazit is a senior product leader and product-management mentor with over 20 years of experience building and leading products in B2B and B2C companies, from early-stage startups to large global organizations. Today Nurit works independently with PMs and product teams on discovery, leadership, and product skills, such as user interviews and continuous discovery.**
**Nurit teaches product management in academic and professional programs, speaks at product conferences, and helps PMs develop sharper judgment, stronger discovery skills, and more confident decision-making.**
**Special Guests: Yarin Lerer, Sharon Heller-Bar, Aviram Marom.**
**With thanks to our sponsor: Riverside**

Azure CBUS February: Build Your Own MCP Server
### Tools in your AI's Toolbox : An introduction to MCP Servers
The generative AI revolution has unlocked unprecedented capabilities, but the next frontier is agency: empowering models to interact with, query, and act upon the world. The current challenge is the “N x M integration problem,” where every AI model requires a custom, brittle integration for each external tool or data source. This approach simply doesn’t scale. How can we give an AI access to our sales leads, code repositories, or IoT devices in a standardized, secure, and reusable way?
This session introduces Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open-source framework designed to solve this challenge and become the universal connector—the USB-C port—for AI. MCP standardizes how AI models discover and use external tools, moving beyond simple function-calling to a robust, client-server architecture. We will dive into how this open protocol is creating a new ecosystem for building powerful, context-aware AI agents.
Join this session for a developer-focused introduction where you will learn how to:
Understand the core concepts of the open-source Model Context Protocol and its architecture.
Utilize pre-built, open-source MCP servers to instantly connect AI to tools like Git, Slack, and databases.
Build a custom MCP server to securely expose your own proprietary data and APIs as tools for any compliant AI.
Move beyond bespoke integrations and contribute to a standardized, collaborative, and open ecosystem.
Stop building one-off connectors and start building intelligent agents. This session will give you the practical knowledge to leverage MCP and create the next generation of AI that doesn’t just talk, but does.

AI Development Risk Case Studies and how Agentic AI is the future of Appsec
OWASP is ending use of Meetup, so I built an eventbrite for the event.
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ai-development-risk-case-studies-and-how-agentic-ai-is-the-future-of-appsec-tickets-1981450622150?aff=oddtdtcreator
AI is transforming how software is designed, developed, and deployed, dramatically accelerating velocity while introducing new categories of risk. As organizations adopt AI-assisted coding, autonomous agents, and increasingly complex model interactions, traditional application security approaches struggle to keep pace. This talk examines emerging AI-driven risks through real case studies from the field, highlighting issues such as insecure code generation, data-leakage pathways, model manipulation, and evolving supply-chain threats. We will explore how engineering teams must adapt their people, processes, and governance models to secure AI-augmented development workflows effectively. The session will then introduce agentic AI as the next evolution in application security—autonomous systems capable of continuous analysis, multi-step reasoning, and real-time remediation. Attendees will learn how combining agentic AI with modern practices can reduce developer friction, improve coverage, and create a future-ready application security strategy designed for the demands of AI-native software development
