Secret Gardens: Botanical Watercolour in the Open Air
Join us for a two-day Botanical Watercolour experience, where we’ll step out of the studio and into two *almost hidden* gardens in Friedrichshain to paint plants directly from life 🌿
Over two days, we’ll meet in two different, *almost hidden* gardens in Friedrichshain—quiet green corners of the city where we can slow down, observe, and paint plants directly from life. Think wild flowers, textured leaves, unexpected shapes, shifting light… and the simple joy of painting outdoors.
This is more than just a meet-up: **it’s a guided class designed to help you grow your skills while you enjoy the process.** We’ll start each session exploring essential watercolour techniques—wet-on-wet, layering, colour mixing, and transparency—and then apply them to what we see around us. You’ll learn how to approach different types of plants, how to simplify complex forms, and which techniques and effects work best for each subject.
No experience needed—just curiosity, and a love for plants, light, and slow summer days 🌱
The workshop includes **two classes**, but you’re also welcome to join individual sessions.
**When:**
Wednesday 13 + 20 May
From 6 to 7.30 PM
**Where:**
Friedrichshain, Berlin (You will receive the exact address by e-mail)
**Price:**
50€ for the whole workshop (2 classes)
Single class 27€ / Paypal & Bank Transfer
**Material:**
You will need a watercolour set, watercolour paper (or sketchbook) and brushes. If you need suggestions about the material, get in touch. If you need some recommendations, this might help:

FLow - vocal soundbath and breathwork meditation + freestyle vocal session
🕢 Doors open at 18:30 and sessions start at 19:00.
Freestyle vocal workout at and play session. €8-20
😌 Flow is a state of being… an experience when you allow yourself to be 100% fully engaged in the present moment in a feedback loop between clarity and satisfaction. It is an undeniable sensation where things seem to be more effortless, pleasurable, in sync, and you can easily sense a connection with something greater than yourself; this is what we will create…:
• a connected and mindful meditation where it is possible to blissfully surf the cutting edge of the present moment together…
• a game where it’s possible to feel excited and calm in the same moment, and everyone can win as much as they like…
Scott Bolden, founder of Das Baumhaus Berlin will share some very easy, practical and effective methods developed during the last 12 years of facilitating the “Improvisational Groove Orchestra” (I.G.O.) improv vocal jam sessions.
Within 20 minutes participants learn to use the common sound space to create resonance in the form of improvisational music where it is quite common to experience some real flow moments…
It is very easy to participate, no musical talent or training is required so anyone is welcome to join. All of the session is done with eyes closed to avoid visual distractions and keep focus on the co-created sound space. During these sessions we will also have short breaks for feedback and refreshment.
Important – Please be on time. It is very important to understand the methodology and warm up in the group before joining in!
🎤 @21:00 - Freestyle vocal workshop and practice session.
€8-15
Have you ever wanted to learn how to do freestyle vocalizations? Maybe you are on your way and would like to just have a fun workout session with other vocal freestyle enthusiasts. All levels welcome.

Food Along the River Ganga, India
Join us for an intimate 7-course dining experience, designed to connect souls, where every ingredient has a lineage, and every bite begins a journey.
For over 2,500 years, the river Ganga hasn’t just been a river - it’s been a witness to civilizations, empires, trade, migration, spirituality… and everyday life.
And food - quietly, consistently - has flowed alongside it.
Handcrafted by a native Indian cook, each dish you’ll taste comes from a different place along this River, and we’ll also immerse ourselves in the stories, heritage, and local nuances of each destination. Think of it as gently taking a boat downstream - starting in the mountains, and ending in the lush delta.
