In this workshop, we move from the inner experience of anger to the relational field, exploring how empathy, active listening, and mindful communication support conflict transformation and nervous system co-regulation. Drawing from neuroscience, mindfulness, psychology, and non-violent communication (NVC), we learn how conflict can become an opportunity for understanding, connection, and shared humanity. Ideal for anyone wanting to navigate anger, stress, and conflict with more awareness, emotional intelligence, and compassion - in daily life, relationships, and communication. Please bring paper and a pen. Cash donation is appreciated. One third of the collected donations will be shared with the café, supporting this community space. The Mindful BAse x Villa Vida Where science meets mindfulness – for awareness, connection, and community. At The Mindful BAse, we believe that mindfulness is not only a personal practice, but also a powerful way to strengthen relationships, communities, and our connection with our environment. Founded in Vienna in 2025, our mission is simple: to bring people together, foster well-being, and cultivate a community rooted in awareness, kindness, compassion and respect. Through our collaboration with Villa Vida, we are excited to present a series of science-based mindfulness workshops designed to encourage meaningful dialogue, nurture learning and reflection for supporting the local queer community. We create spaces where ancient practices meet modern insights, offering sessions that combine yoga, meditation, neuroscience, communication tools in a safe, inclusive and inspiring space. Each workshop invites you to slow down, connect, and learn practical ways to care for yourself and others – grounded in both science and lived experience. 🌈 All identities, bodies, and levels of experience are welcome. https://themindfulbase.com [https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-mindful-base](https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-mindful-base) [https://www.instagram.com/the_mindful_base](https://www.instagram.com/the_mindful_base) Facilitators: Adrián Klepe and Riccardo Trapannone from The Mindful BAse About Us Adrián Klepe Neuroscientist, certified yoga and breathwork instructor (currently teaching at Manas Yoga Studio), and NeuroMindfulness® Coach. Das anarchische Gehirn – Vortrag über Nicht-Alltägliche Bewusstseinszustände
Das anarchische Gehirn – Vortrag über Nicht-Alltägliche Bewusstseinszustände
(This talk will be held in German) Was haben Holotropes Atmen, Zen-Meditation, Isolationstanks und Meisterpflanzen gemeinsam? Transformative Trencin (from Vienna)
Transformative Trencin (from Vienna)
Crowned European Capital of Culture 2026 under the motto "Awakening Curiosity", beautiful Trencin lies right on the Vah, Slovakia's longest river. From Vienna main station, a quick train whisks us over to the Slovak capital in less than 60 minutes. There, we have a quick break before taking another express train to our destination. Once arrived, the immediate thing catching our eyes is Trencin castle, the city's dominant feature. Before making our way up castle hill through Brezina Park, we first wander through the town's quaint city core along baroque Hotel Elizabeth, elongated Mierové Square, the medieval Parish Stairway built in 1568 and Gothic St. Michael's Carner. Underway we'll have fun with ice breakers, discussion prompts and local trivia. After dinner, we take a casual walk along the Vah river bank back to the station. Heading westwards, our return train follows the stunning silhouette of the Lower Carpathians. To secure your spots, please ... Step 1: RSVP here on Meetup first (optional but recommended) Step 2: Complete your booking at https://vienna.ixpat.com/trencin
Run+B-fast
Run+B-fast
Hi Running fellows, Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us! Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast. Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too. What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :) We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast! Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45. We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. We meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT and we hang out over a beer every now and then. It's that easy. Please join us for breakfast after the run! The more the merrier. Typically we are 10-30 people, as not everyone who comes signs up on meetup. Important disclaimer: Please only run as much as you feel you can, considering the temperature, weather conditions, your own fitness etc... run and walk at your own pace as the organizers do not assume any liability for any injuries or health issues. Sonia, Adrian, Ali, Paul and Liz
Open Dialogue – Discovering Together in Vienna
Open Dialogue – Discovering Together in Vienna
We will meet in a calm and friendly place ( Parc, Café, Restaurant) to explore together some of Jiddu Krishnamurti’s key questions about awareness, relationship, and freedom. There will be no teaching, no authority — only open dialogue and attentive listening. Everyone is welcome, whether you are familiar with Jiddu Krishnamurti or simply curious about life and self-understanding. We’ll start with an open conversation around a theme such as “Listening without judgment” or “Can thought bring clarity?” Please bring openness, curiosity, and a readiness to listen — no books or notes needed. The spirit is not to discuss “what should be,” but to observe together “what is.”

**Practice staying present while interacting with others** **✨** [Click for info & registrations](https://being-with-what-is.carrd.co/#workshop) **✨** **ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:** Sometimes we are fully here — clear, present, connected. And sometimes we get pulled into reactions, habits, tension, and endless thoughts. This workshop is an **interactive meditation** — a bridge between contemplation and interactions. We begin in stillness — where awareness feels simple and clear. Then we bring this into movement and interaction. Because presence is not trained only in silence. It is tested when something happens. In contact. In tension. In real moments. Here, you may start to notice the gap between reacting and responding. And in that gap, you might catch a glimpse of a bit more space — and a different way to meet what is happening. **WHAT TO EXPECT:** • sitting in stillness and observing what is here • simple awareness of the body and the breath • moments of interaction and shared reflection • a calm and grounded atmosphere throughout At a deeper level: We often learn to be present in quiet moments. But life moves. Here, we explore how awareness can remain — in the body, in contact, in action. ***🕒 June 7 · 09:30 – 11:30*** ***📍Donation-based*** 09:15 – Doors Open 09:30 – Start 11:30 – End **ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:** Hi, I’m **Marco Moriggi**, I’m an [Coach (Lebens- und Sozialberater in training)](https://coach.my-power.at/) and a Workshop Facilitator. Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
**The Behavior Gap: Where Products Win or Lose** Teams today have more data than ever, and yet many still struggle to understand why customers adopt, engage with, or abandon their products. Teams sprint, ship faster, and chase more signals… all while metrics stall and confidence drops. The missing piece isn’t more data. It’s often the behavioral insight between the metrics, explaining why the numbers move in the first place. Dashboards can tell you what customers did, but understanding why they did it (and how to influence what they do next) requires a deeper blend of insights. This session is about closing that gap. Drawing from real-world experience designing and scaling products as [ZoCo Design](https://zocodesign.com/)’s CEO, [Lacey](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) will share how to cut through the noise and identify the insights that actually change behavior—moving people, and moving metrics. You’ll learn: * Why understanding customer behavior is a quant and qual challenge * How to spot the signals that actually predict behavior change * Where AI accelerates insight, and where it creates distraction * How to get meaningfully closer to customers, without adding more tools This talk reframes how to evaluate performance and identify what levers actually improve it, helping your team to make smarter bets with greater confidence. Every meaningful outcome is driven by behavior change. And when you know how to design for behavior, you stop guessing, and start building things that work. **About Our Speaker** [Lacey Picazo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) is the Founder and CEO of ZoCo, a healthcare product studio that turns complex, high-stakes ideas into products that drive real-world adoption. She partners with healthcare organizations to uncover critical care delivery insights, focus product strategy through behavior design, and build solutions that patients and providers actually use.
