Potluck & Games
Join us this Sunday for a relaxed afternoon of good company, board games, and delicious food at Margaret Island!
For this meetup, we’ll be sharing not only conversation and games, but also a little taste of home. If you can, bring a snack, dessert, or homemade dish from your country — whether it’s something traditional, nostalgic, sweet, savory, store-bought, or baked by you. It’s the perfect chance to discover new foods, cultures, and stories while enjoying the warm weather together on Margit-sziget.
As always, everyone is welcome regardless of their Hungarian level. We’ll have a variety of board games and group activities ranging from complete beginner-friendly games to more advanced conversation games, so you can comfortably join in whether you’ve just started learning Hungarian or already speak confidently.
If you’d like to join but feel a bit nervous about coming alone, feel free to message us—we’re happy to meet up with you before the event starts. That said, most of our participants come on their own, so you definitely won’t be the only one :)
